Layla could barely breathe due to her anger, and her sister actually encouraged her? He's going to explode! Passing in front of Clara, he shot her with his cold eyes.
Met with that gaze, Clara's enthusiastic excitement choked in her throat, stopping abruptly. Even the smile on his face froze stiffly. Perplexed, he looked at Layla's back. Did he make a mistake?
“Esme, who taught you how to shoot with a bow?” Jason narrowed his eyes, focusing on Esme.
Esme is very interested to see Seth and Layla running naked, but she is not. Instead, he would rather use the time to understand this woman in front of him. Not interested in seeing two fools bring their silliness.
Hearing his question, Esme's bright eyes dimmed slightly. He looked down to hide the sadness flashed in his eyes.
“Somebody.” He gave a relaxed answer.
“This person, who is it?” Jason really wants to know.
Esme raised her head and stared. “Why should I tell you everything?”
Always answer that again. There, that gaze, a coldness that could not be described in it.
“Do you really hate me that much?”
“No, I don't.” What he hated was not Jason, but the cruel and heartless Emperor.
“You saw me filled with hatred.”
What could he do? It was not him who told him to be born like a cruel emperor. In fact, they are like twins who are different from the world.
His indifference made his heart sink a little. He reached out to his hips, pulling Esme suddenly into an embrace. I don't know, he doesn't know the reason for this action. He just wanted to hug her.
Esme surprised, raised her head to look at it, “Jason, what are you doing?”
Jason smiled, filled with a hint of mischief and charm. “Come riding.”
“I won't ride.” Struggling to break away from his arm, he added again, “I don't know how to ride.”
“I'll teach you. Wait until you can ride it, then you will realize if riding a horse is very fun!”
“I said I won't ride with you!” How could he have fun accompanying Jason?
Jason's head ducked to look at it, “Esme Andreas, you usually bother me at every turn. Now, there's one in front of you. Why don't you take it?”
Esme finally broke away from ‘iron’ handle after a short struggle. He snapped furiously, “That was first!”
The old Esme is dead, and the present Esme does not love her. If it wasn't for the rest of the feelings from the original body's owner affecting him, he was even too lazy to talk to Jason.
“You really hate me so much?”
“I don't hate you, I just want you to feel how horrible it feels to be ignored by the people you love.”
“So, this is your revenge?”
Esme smiled at him, “In addition, I think this way is pretty good.”
Jason watched it, studied it. After some time, he spoke, “You are not Esme Andreas.”
Esme's heart skipped a beat. On the surface, he tried to face Jason calmly, “If I'm not Esme Andreas, then who?”
Jason snorted, “Don't think I'm stupid. Who are you, I'll find out.”
She was just a soul that had crossed time and reincarnated into another woman. This kind of thing was very far from the reach of normal people.
“Heat once.” Esme squinted her eyes before she looked up at the sky. Then, without a word, he lifted his leg and walked away.
Jason turned. His deep eyes stared at his departing silhouette.
Other than the face that looked exactly like Esme Andreas, everything else about her had changed. He has walked a different path. How could he not know what ability Esme Andreas had before?
Esme Andreas previously did not know what the design was, and definitely would not be able to do it. The former Esme knew nothing about archery, cooking, and had absolutely no idea how to make aym a beggar.
Esme Andreas in the past did not have the serenity or elegance when compared to what she sees now.
Quiet and elegant, everything is perfect. The Esme he knew placed him as the center of the universe, but the current Esme Andreas would see him with a strong hatred at any given opportunity.
Jason was sure of one fact, he wasn't Esme Andreas!
Recalling this problem for a few days, Jason pulled out his phone and called Noe. “Get me surveillance video from the time Esme was in a car accident, to the time where she was hospitalized. Investigate everyone who got into the bedroom that time.”
Of course Noe there immediately nodded swiftly without question.
After finishing ten laps, Layla once again put on her riding gear and walked cheerfully to the stables.
Esme still insists on not riding a horse with Jason. The man did not force her either. Riding Blackie, he roamed the prairie alone. Her mood deteriorated after Esme rejected her, so she walked over at will, hoping that her mood would improve.
On the other hand, Esme chose a white horse. By the time Layla reached the stables, Esme had already climbed onto the horse's back. But he did not drive first. He let the horse run casually around the stables, and Esme's actions in Layla's eyes were like beginner's actions.
Esme in her old age was a horseman. However, this body was not his. In short, the original owner of the body was a fool. Other than driving, he knew nothing more.
Most importantly, the owner of this body is lazy and never bothers to exercise. His physical abilities were so poor that he himself could not help but feel resentment towards the original body owner.
Riding with this body, unable to follow his agile and familiar mind. That was what he wanted to let this body get used to that sensation, instead of running fast like a bat.
Seeing Esme's clumsy and doubtful movements, Layla approached her.
“Esme, you don't know how to ride?” Layla stood in front of the horse with a faint smile.
There was no response from Esme, she was too lazy to serve Layla.
“Why? Are you very disappointed that Director Hall didn't take you around?”
“I think, that disappointed person is you.” Esme shot him with a glance and a sneer.
“Why do I feel disappointed? You don't know how satisfied I am right now.” He stepped closer and pulled the ponytail hair.
What a horse hates is someone pulling its tail hair. With a small stunt from Layla, the originally gentle horse turned berserk. Raising both feet in front of him, he let out a shrill and darting sound.
“Ah ..” Esme's body was thrown left and right out of balance. His screams made the horse worse. Raging in the meadow like a mad cow with no direction.
Esme felt very scared, holding the reins tightly as her body fluttered on the horse's back. On one turn, his body slid to the side, almost falling.
Layla stood in the same spot watching with evil eyes, hoping that Esme would fall into death!
