"Master, Duke. Is there something bothering you?" ask Knight Lio. From that night on, Duke Arland loved spending his nights on the balcony. It was on this balcony that, as a witness, Duchess Violeta looked out the gate to see Duke Arland and greeted with a smile. For five years, Duke Arland felt lonely, even though there was Lady Felica, but it did not make Duke Arland smile.
Duke Arland exhaled through his mouth, a smoke came out of his mouth, his hands clasped tightly against the guardrail. "Why did I just realize it? why did I just admit it? after everything changed and nothing left."
Duke Arland hit the balcony fence violently, his mind clad in the shadow of his wife, the wife he had neglected. Even though she laughed in front of him, welcoming him, sometimes she cried because of his words, she did not look back or comfort him. For a year he lived with the woman, the woman who always smiled, liked what she liked, rejected what she did not like.
"Violeta, leta." Both of his hands moved, shortened in his chest.
"Master, Duke. It's cold outside, it's not good for your health."
"Cold, this cold means nothing to me, Lio. I used to be cold, but my attitude was slowly warmed by the arrival of women from both of my parents."
"Mrs Duchess is calm there, Mr. Duke."
Duke Arland's eyes narrowed as he twisted his body towards Knight Lio. "Enough! once again you say it, I will send you to the Wetdnard region."
"But when is Master Duke like this? torturing themselves. There's still Mrs Felica, sir."
"Don't equate Leta with Felica, Knight Lio!" his gaze killed and pressed. His heart was so sensitive to that sentence of difference.
"Master, Duke!"
Suddenly someone knocked outside the door. "Come in!" shouted Duke Arland, his gaze remaining in a killing position on the knight before him.
"What's wrong?" ask Duke Arland.
"Sorry to interrupt Mr. Duke's time. Outside there is a palace envoy who wants to meet with the Master," he said.
Duke Arland nodded, he passed the servant on the tail of Knight Lio.
"I came here to present an invitation from His Majesty, Mr. Duke."
The Duke of Arland took an invitation from the hand of the knight's messenger of the palace.
Duke Arland did not say, he turned the invitation over, an insignificant invitation for him. In the past, he preferred parties, workspaces and palaces, yes he thought it was very comfortable talking in business, but his life turned around, he did not like parties, workspaces and businesses. He preferred to be alone and daydreaming, thinking of someone who had become a diamond in his heart.
Diamond, a beautiful name at once must be maintained well, but not with him who can not keep the diamond well, until the diamond left.
Duke Arland gave it to Knight Lio, his hands too lazy to hold the invitation.
"Duke!" Exciting someone from the door, the woman smiled as she looked at him. Slowly his feet stepped, approaching Duke Arland. After her marriage to Duke Arland, she dispelled her formal attitude.
"What's that for, Duke?"
"Something that doesn't matter." Duke Arland stayed away, he had no intention of meeting Felica.
"Is Duke going to go there?"
"I don't intend to go there,"
Felica's face was extremely upset, the years Duke Arland had changed only because of a woman who had suddenly entered into his life. In just a moment, the woman had been able to tear apart the heart of Duke Arland. "If only Duke hadn't been there. Everyone would feel a father suddenly change in his son."
Duke Arland stopped his steps, Felica said it was true, for the sake of the woman, he humbled himself. Even before, he had never humbled his wife before.
"You love me, not love him, proof that you and I have a son."
Duke Arland did not dwell, he did love Felica, but the incident made him unable to escape guilt. How happy, he saw a twinkle in Violeta's eyes when he said she was pregnant, but he let her down.
"You just feel guilty for her, that's enough! it wasn't entirely your fault."
May I be honest, may I say it, I love her.
Duke Arland again continued his steps, he was too timid to say so.
