Chapter 4: The Insult

Bella sat quietly on the bed, she breathed a sigh of relief when she found out that her husband was in the hospital.

His heart felt very afraid to imagine the man touching his body, but a moment later his mind immediately recalled the figure of Leonardo.

Bella can not forget the figure of Leonardo especially when they first met, the man showed a warm side that makes Bella continue to be imagined every night.

But now Leonardo is showing a side of coldness that Bella has never seen, but Bella doesn't mind that because she knows how Leonardo feels when she finds out that a woman younger than herself is now her stepmother.

Until the sound of knocking on the door of Bella's room, the woman turned her head. He opened the door without any worries, and it was Leonardo.

Bella's body stiffened again especially when remembering the figure of the man in front of her, the man who suddenly kissed ferociously and also touched his belongings.

"Would you like to come here again?" bella asked with a high tone and an annoyed face.

Bella's nose began to smell the pungent smell of alcohol from Leonardo's body, "Leonardo are you drunk? You better get back to your place." Bella immediately shut the door, but Leonardo held the door with his foot.

The man stared angrily and resentfully at Bella, "Why did you marry that old bandit?" leonardo asked with a look of hate.

"Because I love her, so now you're out of my room! Remember Leonardo, I'm your mother." Bella gives a warning to Leonardo.

There was a mocking laugh from Leonardo, he immediately rubbed his face violently. "Mother? Who thinks of you as a mother?! I'm even older than you, Bella. You're not cut out to be my mother, you're even better suited to be my sister."

"Leonardo you better get out of my room, you're drunk!" Bella immediately pushed Leonardo's body out of her room.

But Leonardo immediately held Bella's hand, he immediately pulled Bella's body and took her into his arms.

Leonardo put on an annoyed face, he still does not accept the fact that Bella is already the wife of his father.

"Leonardo let go, you don't deserve to hug me like this." Bella immediately let go of Leonardo's embrace, she did not want anyone else to see this and instead misunderstood the relationship between the two of them.

Leonardo smiled mockingly, "You really want that old man smelly of the land? What did he give you?" ask Leonardo.

Bella immediately turned her face with a haughty tone she immediately answered a question from Leonardo. "Your father gave me everything I wanted, he also gave me a lot of money." Bella answered, turning her back to Leonardo.

The man smiled mockingly, "It turns out that I misjudged you, you are a cheap woman who is no different from the women out there. You just want money and you're even willing to throw yourself at an older man who's more worthy of being your father."

"Quite Leonardo, this is none of your business! Remember now I'm your father's wife and your stepmother. So you have to respect me!"

Leonardo smiled, "Don't you think just because you married that man, you can get some respect from me?! The dream!"

Then Leonardo immediately took out his wallet, a thick wallet with red sheet money. He immediately pulled out all the contents of his wallet, Leonardo with a mocking smile immediately threw the money right into Bella's face.

Bella was silent with teary eyes, her heart ached when she heard Leonardo's words. Without Bella noticing her tears escaped and soaked her cheeks, "You better get out of my room!" Shouted Bella in a high tone.

Leonardo was silent when he saw Bella's red face, the man immediately left Bella just like that.

When the door closed, Bella's body collapsed onto the floor. He could not bear the pain when the man insulted him all out, but Bella just stopped crying immediately.

He started to smile, "Why should I cry? Isn't this the path I chose."

The next day...

Doni, who was sitting in a wheelchair, smiled happily when he saw his beautiful wife had welcomed him with a warm smile.

"I'm sorry honey last night I didn't accompany you on our first night." Doni held Bella's hand gently.

"Yes, what matters now is your health." Bella said with a gentle smile.

Then the doctor behind Doni also immediately explained the condition of Doni, the doctor forbade Doni to have intercourse given the condition of the man who is now not good.

Doni who heard that could only frown because he could not feel the pleasure of being with Bella.

"You're home, old Bangka?" asked Leonardo who had just arrived, the man was wearing a casual shirt.

"Leonardo watch your mouth! I am your father." Doni immediately gave a stern warning to Leonardo.

But the man with a smile exploded, "You better lower your tone. If you're angry like that, I'm afraid you're dead on the spot." Leonardo Eject.

An annoyed Doni immediately asks Bella to take him inside the room, Leonardo is speechless with eyes staring at Bella who starts to disappear behind the bedroom door.

Bella who was in the room immediately pushed her husband's wheelchair gently, "Bella, I'm so happy to be married to you and I promised for my sister's medical expenses. I will definitely bear it and of course the debt of both your parents will also be considered paid off." Said Doni with the hand that held both of his wife's hands.

Bella smiled, though her heart shuddered in disdain as the man's wrinkled hand held hers.

"Thank you."

"Yes, baby, but remember not to dare play behind my back. If you do that, you'll have to pay for all your parents' debts and your sister's treatment." Threatening Doni who doesn't want to lose Bella.

"Yes, I promise to be loyal to you. After all there would be no man who would dare disturb me because I am your wife." Bella said with a smile.
