Anes still couldn't believe what was happening, how could the man he was betrothed to be his own boss, yet he was a little relieved at least that person was Alex, she said, not the old and ugly man he had imagined. " So, I was accepted in the company of you because of this matchmaking?" anes wants to protest.

"Oh, of course not Nak, you are accepted in the company because of your ability not because of interference or anyone else" replied Mr. Arya

Anes just nodded in understanding.

"Has right, my dad suggested I apply for a job directly at Parvis Group" he murmured.

"Damn it, why am I even being diced," inner Alex.

" Why is Alex silent, not to say something like that?" Anes also spoke in his heart.

They just stared at each other without saying a word.

"So, our arrival here is to officially propose to Nak Anes to be the wife of Alex, my son according to the trust of my late father," continued Mr. Arya again.

Then, the aides of Mr. Arya came in carrying branded goods and some money and luxury jewelry and handed them over to the Anes family.

"Alright Mr. Arya, I am happy to accept my father's proposal for my daughter," replied Mr. Hari steadily because Anes had also agreed.

Alex also seemed to breathe a sigh of relief, after his proposal was accepted by Mr. Hari.

"Well, since both parties have agreed to this match, what if the marriage is done one more month, the sooner the better, not so dear?" said Mr. Arya while looking at his wife who had just been silent.

"Yes," replied Rania with a very forced smile.

"Is this not too fast pa?" ask Alex.

The two families continue their conversation, while Alex and Anes decide to chat on the porch of Anes' house.

"That's because I love my grandfather so much Sir, I don't want to disappoint him, and I'm sure of my grandfather's choice" Anes replied.

"True sir," Anes finally looked down embarrassed because his action was discovered.

Alex can't believe what Anes did, it's like he got an oasis in the desert.

And the two of them were silent to each other wordlessly with an awkward feeling.

"I'm sorry" they said. Just that word, all they were capable of saying right now. And the mood became quiet again.
