DAVID IS SICK

Almira's order had arrived and she immediately fed David with chicken porridge. David ate slowly and his tongue was numb, he did not feel the savory chicken porridge. David is still ordinary and considers all that a natural thing. David forced a swallow, but his throat hurt.

"It hurts my neck." David said slowly.

"You need a drink, baby." Then Almira gives David a drink.

Then David continued to eat again until it ran out and after that he took medicine.

"You rest baby, I'll accompany you to sleep."

"Yes dear." David and David's head lay down on Almira's thigh. Almira rubbed David's hair gently and the two chatted about their marriage later.

Melinda's mother is still in the car park and she's been waiting for quite a while.

"What is Almira inside? Why is he so long?" Melinda's mother wondered.

"If this is how she's gonna let me go home, maybe if David's sick. There's Almira taking care of her." Then Melinda's mother returned to her home with a feeling of anxiety for David.

Alma asked David.

"When do you feel pain, baby?"

"Hmmm...." David muttered for a moment and he was still thinking about last night he went out with his friend.

"Oh yeah last night when I had an appointment with a friend, there were already signs of my body not feeling well. After hanging out, my body suddenly got a fever like this." Said David covering up what he had actually done last night.

Almira believed what David was talking about, and Almira asked.

"Then we go to the doctor, baby, let's get well soon."

"No need, baby, I'm just an ordinary fever. It will also heal on its own."

"Oh, then, dear." Say Almira whatever.

Then Almira asked about the wedding of the brand later.

"When do you think it's the right time for our wedding, dear?"

"After graduation, baby, I feel like it's a good time."

"So when graduation is over, we get married?" David nodded his head confirming the sign.

The afternoon has changed with the night. Almira hasn't come home yet and Melinda's mother is getting worried.

"Why has Almira been so long? what the hell is he doing there?" Ask Melinda's mom, looking upset. He stood in front of his house and was seen pacing while holding his cellphone.

"It's good I just call Almira, afraid she's got nothing." Then Melinda's mother called Almira.

The sound of Almira's phone rings and Almira immediately picks it up. Almira had just wiped David's body with warm water and put on his clothes as well. David's body looks very limp and his condition is getting worse.

"Hello Mah?" Tanya Almira raised the call.

"Oh this Mira is in David Mah's apartment, DAVID is SICK."

"What's!? Sick David!?" Mother Melinda's touch gasped and she hurriedly asked.

"What pain is he? Has he taken any medication?"

"It's Mah, but it's getting worse and the body is limp and pale." Almira said a little worried.

Melinda's mother was even more anxious and she unconsciously said,

"We've taken David to the hospital now, Mamah will go there."

"Do you know where David's apartment address is???" Alma asked and was a little suspicious. Melinda's mother only realized that she had been speechless, but she soon found another reason.

"If you don't tell me the address where Mamah knows, Mira! Quickly tell me where the location is! Pity your future husband if left like that without any treatment from the Doctor."

"Well Mah later Almira will tell me his location in WhatsApp messages." Almira then turns off the call and sends the location where David's apartment is located.

"Almost Almira suspects me! Good thing my slips don't hold up! It could be later!" Melinda's mother said that she was changing clothes.

After Melinda's mother finished wearing her usual clothes, she went straight to the hotel where David had been staying all this time. Almira was rubbing David's forehead and David opened his eyes slightly.

"Why are you so good to me, Mira?" Ask David.

"I am your future wife and it is only natural that I do this kind of kindness to you dear." David smiled softly and said,

"But if I'm not your future husband and just an ordinary friend, would you still be willing to help me like this?"

"My father used to teach me about helping people. Want it anyone even though it is not a brother, if someone else needs help I should be able to help the person's difficulties. Let alone that person whom I love, I will be willing to sacrifice even if I have to lose both my eyeballs." David's heart was deeply touched upon hearing her and he was deeply entrenched,

'It was fortunate that I was able to get a good woman and was willing to sacrifice for me. Though all this time I have betrayed her and have been having an affair behind her with her mother. I feel so guilty for Almira.' But David's mouth said another, 'David,

"I'm confused as to what to repay your sacrifice with, I only have love and affection that I can forget for you dear."

"I just need your loyalty, baby, love and affection, that's business later. Now we're approaching our wedding and I don't want any fuss in our relationship next."

"I promise to always be loyal to you, dear." David assures the heartstrings of Almira and Almira that he has now regained his love for David after some trivial things that make him suspicious of his closeness to his mother.

Then David asked,

"Will your mother come here to see me?"

"Yes Mamah will be here to see you dear, and will take you to the hospital to be examined there."

"Hmm so.., thank you so much." That's just a remark from David and David's cell phone was deliberately turned off by him so that Almira did not check his phone.

During their courtship, the two of them had never exchanged phones to see the contents of each other's phones so that they could not find cheating or infidelity. Almira did not care much about the contents of David's phone and he did not want to know. Maybe if Almira asks David's phone to be seen, David will ban her strictly because all the cheating done on Almira stored all her there.
