Ch 04 - The Tragedy of the Xiao III Clan

The Patriach Black Tiger Sect stared at the Patriarch of the Xiao Clan with eyes of defiance and disdain, along with several other Patriarchs of the sect they laughed at the confidence of the Patriarch of the Xiao Clan.

If on another day perhaps they would feel trepidation towards the Xiao Clan especially the Patriarch and all the Clan elders who were Nascent Soul Great Circle-Stage and Peak Stage heroes to the entire fifteen people in the Klan's condition they were still ready for battle, though, but now that all the Xiao Clan family residences including the branch families had been surrounded had even eliminated some other groups that were also sent to eliminate all the Xiao Clan families and the Tang Clan so what should they be scared again?.

"Patriarch Xiao! If you're brave then go ahead and face us!".

Patriarch Xiao realized that even though he and everyone in the Xiao Clan branch residence numbered in the tens plus twenty-five people from their Tang Clan still would not be able to win against thousands of Cultivators who though mostly had Foundation Realm level with hundreds of Core Formations and dozens of Nascent Soul Mid-Stage as well as some had already reached Great Circle-Stage, were already at, if they were reckless to attack, they were like chickens entering the crocodile's mouth so he immediately took out a cylinder tube and pointed it at the sky.

"Want to ask for help?! Let me tell you, all the Xiao Clan residences have been surrounded by our troops! Perhaps the current residence of the Xiao Clan as well as the Tang Clan was already flattened to the ground!" Patriarch Xu Yi and the Black Flow sect Patriach laughed at what the Xiao Clan Patriach had done.

While it was not only the shocked Patriarch of the Xiao Clan, the Tang Clan Patriarch, and Grandfather and Grandma Xiao Suja who were also there were shocked to hear that their Tang Clan had also come under attack.

"YOU!!!! I SWEAR BY THE SKY!!! YOU WILL GET THE REPLY SOMEDAY!!".

That furious shout made all the Patriarchs of the Black Stream sect laugh along with their troops, none of them realizing that the oath would actually happen someday and disintegrate their sect.

"No need to talk anymore! The army! Rise this residence!".

The battle took place after the Patriarch of Black Tiger Sect gave the order, thousands of Black Flow Alliance troops raided the Xiao Clan branch family residence which only held a hundred people, most of whom were only Core Formation Cultivators while on the enemy side the weakest strength was the Cultivators being at the Earth Foundation left those who maintained the Xiao Clan cornered and started to fall one by one.

Elsewhere the Patriarch of the Black Tiger Sect was fighting against the Patriarch of the Xiao Clan, during the battle they had fought hundreds of moves they controlled, but in the end Patriarch of the Xiao Clan had to swallow the bitter reality after being exposed to the level nine poison that Patriarch Xu Yi of the Black Tiger Sect had used.

"It turns out that the Patriarch of the Xiao Clan is only this weak, it seems like the news out there is only exaggerated!".

Patriarch Xiao simply fell silent not replying to anything said by Xu Yi, all of his Qi energy had been drained to suppress the development of the poison that was attacking his body despite not having too much impact.

"Xu Yi, today you and your Alians can laugh, but remember that one day there will be someone who will avenge everything you did to the Xiao Clan and Tang Clan tonight!" Patriarch Xiao could only bitterly smile as he felt the poison had injured his heart and started attacking the other organs.

"Xiao, all your words are nothing but nonsense and will never happen! Because tonight is the last night your beloved clan is in this cruel world!".

Xu Yi left Patriarch Xiao who was already lying weakly on the ground, black-colored blood dripped from his mouth and a moment later his body stiffened from having run out of breath.

The condition of all the troops of the Xiao Clan and the Tang Clan who were still fighting was no less bad either, of the hundred people who survived left only two Core Formation Cultivators who were already exhausted and lost their fighting spirit, as well, in a few breaths after that both of them died beheaded by the swords of two enemies who surrounded them.

"Comb through all of this residential area! Don't let one get away even if it's an animal! Take everything you can get!".

"Yue'er, you have to survive from here! Take good care of our son, I'll wait for you across there!".

Xiao Jing who was the father of Xiao Suja could only stare at the two figures of different ages and genders who were fainting in front of her, both of whom were his wife and son whom he cared about.

Just as Xiao Jing was about to return to help the Patriarch and the others, his wife Tang Yue insisted on wanting to come along to make him forced to use the sleeping powder to make his wife sleep.

After writing a letter and putting down a white jade ring he stepped out of his residence, when he got outside he saw his residence had been surrounded and the corpses of the members of the Xiao Clan and the Tang Clan splattered in several places.

"Xiao Jing's! Where are you hiding Tang Yue!" Xu Yi who was looking for Xiao Jing and Tang Yue after slaughtering all the residents of the residence stared in anger at the figure of Xiao Jing who was seen walking quietly out of his residence.

"Xu Yi, even to death I will not hand my wife over to an animal like you! Don't you think I'll hand Yue'er over to the merciless beast for you to have, and remember this Xu Yi! Someday when our son has grown up, he will demand revenge for everything that befell the Xiao Clan and the Tang Clan tonight!".

Xu Yi let out a condescending laugh upon hearing that, Xiao Jing only let him laugh as much as he could before pulling his beloved sword and lunging towards Xu Yi. In a few breaths they exchanged dozens of moves and there was clearly a difference in strength between the two of them.

"Xu Yi, I didn't expect that in just two years you would increase by this magnitude".

"Why? Are you afraid of dying now?! If you hand Tang Yue over to me and let me eliminate your child I will let you live for seven days to witness how I enjoy Tang Yue's beautiful body in front of you!".

Xiao Jing tried to be unaffected and continued her attack, the slashes she laid back were retaliated with other slashes.

After colliding techniques during the burning of one stick of incense Xu Yi was able to dominate their fight and upon seeing the opportunity he gave a slash to Xiao Jing's neck, Xiao Jing who was late to avoid being fatally injured by the rupture of her respiratory tract made her suffer for a while before exhaling her last breath.
