"It looks like we missed something very important"

Now Marvin and Brianna have joined their mama. Lusy cleared his throat for a moment, the tail of his eyes glancing towards Yasmine who was holding back her smile.  This further triggers the curiosity of Marvin and Brianna.

"I saw you guys were so familiar"

"really?" Asked Lusy with his innocent expression. When Marvin snorted, he was angry and curious.

"When have you been chatting with Mrs Lusy?" Brianna whispered, but Yasmine just smiled in response.

"Alright it looks like I should stop the charade earlier."

Marvin's eyebrows rattled to hear it. "What does mama mean?"

"On what mama kemarim said, mama is not really serious"

"Aishhh speak clearly ma!" Shouted Marvin annoyed, he did not realize there was still mama Brianna.

"Ck! Watch your attitude Marvin Xavier here there's mama Brianna!"

Lusy's warning managed to resuscitate Marvin, the man rubbed his neck in shame. Yasmine looked at him.

"Brianna come here" Lusy asked Brianna to sit next to him. Brianna was surprised, she was scared and embarrassed.

"No need to fear son, come here" Lusy's tone sounded so soft, there was even a sweet smile pinned on her lips.

"God! Lady Lusy smiled at me, is this a dream?" Inner Brianna pleased. His attitude is very different.

With a doubt Brianna finally approached and sat on Lusy's left side. While Marvin, the man had been sitting on his right side.

"I want to apologize for yesterday's incident. My attitude must have scared you. Aren't we?" Lusy said, his outstretched hand touched Brianna's palm and then held it. Brianna gasped, and so did Marvin. He died curious to see the change in attitude of his mother.

"I'm sorry if my words hurt your feelings. I'm not seriously saying it. Marvin, mama just wants to test the extent of your seriousness in this girl. Actually mama already knows your closeness to Brianna and everything that's going on in this house".

"James reported everything"

"So, did you bless our relationship?"

"Before you ask your mother for her blessing, ask Brianna for her blessing. You haven't lost it already courting her daughter?" Lusy's snort was upset.

Marvin grimaced to hear it as well as embarrassed, while Brianna's face looked flushed and did not dare to make a sound.

"Mama..."

Yasmine was shocked as soon as Marvin called her that. It sounded strange and again he felt inappropriate. The call was too much for him.

"I'm sorry if we've been covering up this relationship. Actually I wanted to tell you everything, but Brianna forbade it. He's not ready to see your reaction." Marvin sighed for a moment, then ventured to look at Yasmine. The woman could see Marvin's sincerity through her eyes.

"From the beginning you may have seen how I behaved to Brianna. I was attracted to him, and now I really love him. I've never messed around about my feelings. Brianna's a very special girl to me. 8 years I've been looking for her, I'm sure mom would have told you everything. With great expectations, please bless our relationship" Marvin looked at Yasmine pleading. His heart was also pounding waiting for Yasmine's reply. Same thing with Brianna.

Unknowingly Brianna squeezed Lusy's hand which was still holding her hand. Lusy chuckled softly then stroked Brianna's head gently.

"If this makes you happy, with pleasure." Yasmine replied smiling sincerely. He threw his eyes at Brianna. His daughter's eyes look teary.

"Thank you, Ma" Brianna ran to her mother's arms.

Finally they can breathe a sigh of relief now, do not forget also Marvin said a lot of thanks. Marvin approached his mother. "So did mommy bless us too?"

"Of course, mama is tired of looking for women to match with you. After all Brianna is a very sweet girl, mama loves it" Marvin's smile instantly expands, he hugs his mother tightly making the middle-aged woman squeal with tightness.

"Thank you, Ma"

"Deliver!! You want mama to die before you see you get married huh!!"

Laughter warms the mood between them. This is a good start to Marvin and Brianna's relationship. Both have received blessing, now Marvin just have to be patient waiting for that day to arrive, the day he had dreamed so far. Making Brianna his own in a sacred bond. Marvin has to be patient waiting for Brianna to graduate from high school. After that, he proposed to his girl.
