Bai opened the document about Leiya, he read it carefully without getting rid of a single detail.

It turned out that since childhood Leiya was always ignored in the family because of her female self and was considered useless, Ning's mother also ignored him because she assumed he was carrying bad luck on himself which made him underestimated by her in-laws.

Leiya had always been kind and trying to get good grades, but Ning's mother had always underestimated her and had never appreciated Leiya's small achievements.

When the two old men were in a bad state or had a fight, Ning's mother took it out on little Leiya who knew nothing. He locked her up in a small dark barn and there were various insects such as lizards, cockroaches, rats.

The servants felt pity but could not do anything, Aunt Wen was Leiya's nanny from childhood who always secretly fed Leiya if Ning's mother came out.

The confinement was usually only all day but when she was seven it became three days because Ning's mother forgot about her and Wen's aunt opened the room after begging Ning's mother.

Ning's father was rarely at home so he didn't know about it, Aunt Wen had complained about it but Mr. Ning just kept quiet and there was no change whatsoever should it be just a normal thing to discipline the child.

Bai clasped the paper tightly which quickly tangled, he was furious and eager to hit them.

When Bai met Leiya in college, she looked fine and laughed every day. But he was often truant in a week was certainly not full of departures.

Yang Bai did not know that Leiya whose test scores were ordinary was often hit by Ning's mother who made her run away from home for three days to race.

" El, isn't the Ning family a jewelry business under our auspices" Bai asked putting the document on the table and picking up the drink.

El nodded not questioning his boss's decision, who told the Ning family to offend their boss who was a local snake in the city of Y.

Bai who was turning his glass immediately stopped his movement.

" Just leave it alone" Bai said waving his hand telling his subordinates to come out.

El bowed respectfully and immediately walked out of the room.

Bai looked down at the bustling downstairs and found a familiar figure playing dice with some big men.

" Hey beautiful why girls like you play gambling does your parents not watch you" asked one of the big-bellied men.

" What do you care, play! See if I've won three in a row. Do you feel aggrieved and tell me to leave" said Raya proudly looking at them by crossing her arms.

" Heh, just three times. Look at this our boss is already a famous dice king, girls don't cry if you lose to him" said the bearded man pointing to the man next to him who was tattooed.

" Yes right, see if you lose in a row and have no more money are you going to pay with your body? I gladly accepted it" said the tattooed man who followed their laughter.

Raya has a dark face and will say something when her arm is pulled

" Play your game, don't bully the girls" Bai said grimly looking at the three men.

Didn't expect this woman would have any relationship with this casino boss.

Bai just looked at them coldly then went upstairs carrying Raya with him.

" That's my glass" Bai said looking at the actions of Raya who took the glass at will

" Oh, then it's okay. Besides, I've slept at your place, what's the problem" Raya said.

Bai's subordinate who was just about to enter immediately closed the door again, not expecting their boss who wasn't close to women to turn out to be very skilled.

Bai immediately frowned displeasedly, his words were too ambiguous not even anything happened between them.

" It has nothing to do with you" said Bai turning his face and walking towards the window looking down.

Raya got up and approached Bai with a very thin distance.

" Everything about you has to do with me, even your life" Raya said smilingly

" You told me yourself that if I still wanted you to live, you would live" he continued

" When did I say it?" bai asked immediately retreated due to their distance being too close.

" It doesn't matter if you don't remember it, I'll make you remember again" Raya said closer to Bai's ear and bit him.

" See you, Mr. Hawk, we'll meet again" said Raya, who skilfully jumped down from the window.

Bai gazed down grimly, this woman was extremely brave. He stroked his hot ear with his right hand and immediately took the car keys.

" Boss aren't you staying over?" ask El

" No, I will accompany father, I did not keep my promise last time to take him to the charity auction. I left" Bai told El and immediately got off to get his car.

On the way, Bai pulled himself up and took a deep breath to get rid of his thoughts that were always ringing about the words of Raya.

" Dad I'm home, tonight I'll be with you. Tell me if you want to play chess together until late" Bai said gently patting his father on the shoulder.

" Okay, grab the chessboard. You should accompany me to play chess until morning" his father said calmly.
