Chapter 2: The New Student

At school there was a new student. Devan's arrival to his new class made the female gaze stare with a fond look. But in contrast to Laura who is not at all interested and she is even just focused on her new novel.

Laura who takes her novel to class and in her spare time always reads her novel. But even though Laura likes to read her IQ novels above average so she is always a champion.

"Good morning, kids. We have a new child. Come on, kid, introduce your name!" Said the teacher who allowed Devan to introduce himself in front of the class

Devan advanced forward while looking at that class.

"Hi, meet me Devan Bimantara. It's nice to meet you guys!" Devan.

Many women scream because they see the good looks of Devan not with Laura. He was busy with his novel.

Because according to Laura it is common and as usual the class is boisterous with the arrival of new children.

"Ok nak Devan. Now you can sit down" said the teacher.

Their subjects are now empty because they are new to school and do not learn as usual. Devan looked at the obvious and his eyes fell on Laura who was reading her novel.

"He wasn't the one before. It was not just one school but one class as well" Devan's heart said, looking at Laura from afar because their bench was not close.

"Laura...Laura!" A call from the classroom door made Laura stop reading her novel and look forward.

Devan who heard the call smiled sweetly.

"Oh it turns out she's Laura" said Devan's heart.

" What's wrong?" Laura replied while keeping the novel.

"Here deh. Someone call you ahead?" Shouted his friend.

Laura stood up and followed her friend forward. Laura was shocked to see so many people.

"Why! Why!" Laura said.

Suddenly it was the arc that made the plan to shoot Laura in front of everyone. He looked down and gave a flower to Laura.

"Laura! Do you want to be my girlfriend!" Arka. But Laura responded to the arc with a smile and answered the arc with a short answer.

"Sorry arka. I'm not his not to accept you, but we're still in school and we still have a lot to fix ahead. There is a future that we must realize" Laura replied as she took the flower from the hand of the arka.

With a smile again Laura told the arka to stand up.

"I received this flower does not mean we can not be friends of the arc. I received this flower also not because I answered your question earlier. But this is a sign that we are friends" said Laura as she extended her hand to the arc.

Arka was silent for a moment because she also knew she did not want to be embarrassed in front of everyone because she was rejected by laura.

While extending his hand, Arka smiled.

"But that doesn't mean I didn't spell you out laura. And I promise I will try hard" cried the arka.

Laura nodded and smiled.

While Devan is looking from the window because he is also curious where Laura long ago.

She saw Laura smiling like a moon at night though it was dark but able to light up a pitch-black world.

"It turns out he's mature enough to not embarrass others. He also appreciates others by not taking the person down" Devan said.

Suddenly someone held Devan's shoulder while praising Laura.

"Laura is so pretty. That's why many want to be with him and not only that he never looked at others" said Alex.

Devan sees Alex without answering Alex's praise to Laura.

"You must like him?" Ask Alex.

"Ck. Who likes him. He looks like judges too" Devan said walking towards his stool because Devan was talking in front of Laura did not look forward at all.

Alex laughed at Devan's reply.

"Hmmm. Is that really what I said?" Devan said as he opened the book.

And when they were chatting suddenly the teacher called Devan to the teacher's room.

Devan walks towards the teacher's room and is nudged by Laura. Laura who wants to go to the bathroom due to pee keblet and accidentally gets nudged with Devan.

"If the road looks dong. Have eyes!" Shouted Laura.

"You have no eyes" Devan replied casually.

Look out, yeah! Move you!" Said Laura running small towards the bathroom.

Devan did not look at Laura's departure at all. And when Devan was about to leave he saw a moon-shaped hairpin. And accidentally Devan also damaged the clasp because he did not see.

Devan finally went to the teacher's room.

"Yes, just go in!" Said the teacher.

Devan's in.

"What did you call me?" Ask Devan.

Miss Siska is their classroom teacher.

"No. Mom's just the same as Devan. Where's Devan moving from?" Ask Miss Siska.

"Oh Devan transfers from State High School x Bu!" Answer Devan.

"Dad, thank you very much. Now you can go back to your class" Ms. Siska said.

Devan came out of the teacher's room. And Devan also accidentally saw Laura was looking for something.

"What are you doing?" Ask Devan.

"Review you! Move over!" Shouted Laura who was still looking for her hairpin.

"Ck, you little girl judges" Devan said and about to leave suddenly he stopped his steps when Laura said a hairpin.

"Where are my hair clasps. Aduhhhh" said Laura while looking for the clasp.

Devan turned around and took a hairpin out of his pocket.

He walked towards Laura while giving the clasp.

"I'm sorry I didn't mean it!" Devan said giving the clasp to Laura.

Laura who saw the clasp was broken.

"Ahhhh. My clasp can be damaged" said Laura took the clasp from Devan's hand.

Devan who saw Laura was sad because of the clasp and even Laura's face seemed to be moody because of the clasp.

"Why is he so moody? Is it because of that clasp?" Devan asked in his heart to see Laura moody.

Laura was still staring at the clasp that was broken due to her negligence. The clasp was given to her father when Laura accidentally fell off the bike and made Laura cry. Finally his father gave the gift of the clasp to Laura so that Laura was not sad.

"This is a father's gift to Laura" Laura said in her gloomy face.

Devan who saw the melancholy of laura's face made her want to replace with a new one.

"i had to change the clasp. It must be something valuable to him!" heart of Devan.
