Chapter 10 Obligations of a Wife

“Is there a problem Sir? Why are these nights calling me?” ask Theo who just walked into Abian's study. “Didn't you know it was almost three in the morning?”

“Massage my legs!” abian's orders.

“Hah?!” screeched Theo with both eyes widened and lips gaping.

“Are you deaf? Massage my legs now!” Abian repeated his words.

“You're not joking, are you? Calling midnight like this just to massage your feet?” ask Theo.

It's too bad to have to do that now, because he's really very sleepy. Moreover, these few days he was busy with office affairs and also preparing for Abian's wedding.

“Do I need to repeat my sentence just now?”

“Isn't there Miss Anaya in there. Why don't you just ask him to-” Theo reflex folds his mouth inward, then swears at himself for talking senselessly.

“Enough! I didn't tell you to talk! Now get back here and massage my legs until tomorrow morning!” his orders with a tone of emphasis.

Theo let out a rough sigh then walked closer towards Abian.

I don't want that guy to have to do it. Massage Abian until morning. And if Theo refuses, it is certain that everything his master says will come true.

He couldn't imagine sleeping under a bridge like he used to.

“Why are you sitting there?” abian asked as he saw Theo sitting just beside him. Then he lifted his legs and placed them slowly into the man's lap.

“Of course I want to massage your feet Sir!” answer Theo.

“Indeed I told you to sit on the sofa? Quickly move to the floor and without a pedestal!” abian's orders.

“What?!” Theo swallowed his saliva with great difficulty. Shock heard Abian saying that he asked her to sit on the floor without wearing any pedestal.

What if he dies of cold? Plus the ac room is on.

“You protest, hum?”

Theo shook his head quickly.

As for Abian, the man crossed his arms in front of his chest and leaned his back against the sofa.

Abian's words sounded soft. But behind all that is stored something that makes Theo can not dwell at all.

“Yes, just do as you want Sir! Wanna see you tomorrow or until the next week I'm willing to massage your feet!” answer Theo who started to change seats and grabbed Abian's leg. “You should be angry at madam Luna, not at me,” softly.

“Kok me again Sir? Isn't there a waiter?” Theo stopped his massage, turning to look seriously at Abian. “After-morning I have to go to the airport.”

Abian immediately opened his two eyes that were almost closed. “Ke airport? For what?”

“It seems you forgot that Mr. Gavian decided to come back here to replace your Papa in the hospital,” replied Theo.

Abian clenched his hands tightly hearing the name of Gavian, his biological sister. His age was only three years different from her. The relationship between the two of them has not been very close.

Especially if Abian remembers their past that almost fought over the same woman.

“Then where will he stay? Don't tell me she-”

“Tuan Gavian agreed to return Jakarta on condition, he will stay here and take care of you until he recovers.”

“A-what did you say? Caring for me? I don't want to!” this time it was Abian's turn that was made in shock by Theo. He really did not expect that his sister would return so soon.

“Anaya, are you not sleepy at all? Look, it's almost three o'clock in the morning.” Rayya invites Anaya into her room. But the girl continued to resist on the grounds that she was not yet sleepy.

“I'm lazy to meet him, Rayya!” anaya said as she lowered her face on the table.

“But after all Mr. Abian is now your husband Naya. A wife's obligation is to serve her husband and be by his side at all times.” Rayya tries to convince Anaya that her current actions are wrong. She left her husband the first night.

“But I just don't love him Rayya! Don't force me to–”

“Now you haven't, but I believe one day you'll need each other. It will never even be separated.” Rayya cut Anaya's sentence and smiled. “Sorry I know, but aren't we friends now? So, it's okay ’kan if this friend of yours reminds you?”

Anaya was silent for quite a while thinking about Rayya's words. Then take a deep breath and breathe it out slowly.

“You're right, I'll go back to my room. But don't give that one! Because I'm not ready!” said Anaya. Although it is undeniable that Abian is handsome, even very handsome. But sucks.

Rayya smiled as she rubbed Anaya's shoulder. Although actually the girl also did not understand about the husband and wife relationship. He only says what he thinks is right.
