False hope

The journey to the capital is taken by three hours. Bryan goes straight to Selly and Regan's house.

Arriving at Selly's house already looked a lot of people. There's Regan, Daniel, Melisa, Lana and Erik. Of all the people only Andrew-papa Regan did not come, because he was sick and was treated at home.

"Wah ... favorite granddaughter has come," said Melisa when she saw Bryan and Shea coming. He approached his son and grandson. She grabbed baby El in her arms.

Lana who saw her grandson did not want to lose to Melisa. She grabbed baby Al in her cradle. Taking off her miss, she landed a kiss on her grandson's cheek.

Lana has rarely visited in a long time. Her husband, who had to be cared for at home, made it burdensome to take care of her husband rather than his grandchildren. Shea and Melisa are taking good care of their granddaughter.

"Has the doctor not come yet?" bryan asked his mother.

"Erik said after lunch" Melisa replied.

Bryan and Shea nodded. They entered the house and joined the others in the living room.

"You should eat first!" melisa said to Bryan and Shea.

Bryan and Shea's eyes were fixed on the dining table that was neatly arranged food on it. However, the food seemed intact. Bryan and Shea suspect, if all the family is pounding waiting for the results of the doctor's examination. So none of them were hungry or worse, they could not swallow food because they were waiting for the results.

"We're still full, Ma, we'll eat later" Bryan said.

Melisa just nodded. Bryan and Shea are the umpteenth people who refuse him an offer to eat. As with the others, the son also felt a thump waiting for his brother to be examined.

They all waited with a feeling of unease. Their hope is that Selly will be able to heal as she once was.

After waiting for a long time, the doctors finally arrived. This time it was a general health checkup for Selly, so many doctors came.

"People, Mr. Regan." One of the doctors reached out and greeted Regan.

"Jiang, Doc."

"We'll check on Selly's mother." The doctor immediately expressed his intention.

"Alright, please!" Regan directs the doctor to Selly's room.

Because the doctors were pretty much on board, eventually only Regan, Bryan and Daniel, came in. The women chose to wait outside. Because there are babies with them.

Entering the room, the doctor checked on Selly. Erik helped the doctors who examined his brother-in-law.

In a corner of the room, Regan, Bryan and Daniel wait for the doctors who are examining Selly. They were so pounding when the doctor examined Selly.

Bryan strengthened Daniel who looked worried as well. By embracing her papa, Bryan helped her to calm down.

Long enough the doctor checked on Selly. From a distance, Regan, Bryan and Daniel see a doctor's scalp. They could not interpret what was happening and they did not understand from the doctor's head. In their little hearts, they could only pray if all was well.

Until finally they finished checking on Selly, and approached Regan, Bryan and Regan.

"How's my wife doing, Doc?" ask Regan.

"Sorry, sir, with a heavy heart we say that Ms. Selly's condition has no development."

Regan knitted her eyebrows. His eyes squinted as if digesting the words of the doctor. Bryan and Daniel were no less confused by the words of the doctor.

"What does the doctor mean?" Regan made it clear to the doctor.

Regan's heart felt hit by a hard object. His body immediately limp to hear the doctor's words. Her tears were no longer held back. He could not accept everything that the doctor explained.

The pain in the heart was also felt by Daniel. Hearing her only daughter declared not to be healed left her completely devastated.

Seeing her smashed papa Bryan hugged her papa. Although her heart was as broken as accepting the fact that her brother would not be safe, she tried to stay strong for her father and mother.

"Doc, do something, I'll pay anything as long as my wife gets well." Regan's voice was shaking. Her tears can't be stopped anymore. He begged the doctor to save his wife.

"Save my daughter." Even the fragile-looking Daniel was crying. He begged the doctor as his son-in-law did

"Sir .. uncle," call Erik to Regan and Daniel.

"Rik, tell your doctor's friends this to save my wife." Regan looked expectantly at Erik. He hoped that Erik would help him.

"Sister, the doctor has examined well the condition of Selly's brother, and what the doctor said was in accordance with the results of their examination." Erik tried to explain to Regan.

Regan can't say anything. He still did not accept what his cousin explained.

"So we suggest to remove the supporting device that has been attached to the body of Ms. Selly." The voice of one of the doctors was heard while everyone was busy with his feelings.

Regan's eyes were perfectly rounded hearing one of the doctors. Then his gaze turned full of sharp gazes that were ready to hit the heart. "What do you mean, Doctor? Did the doctor ask me to let go of my own wife?" Regan's voice was rising. His emotions peak when one of the doctors tells him to end his wife's life.

"So, calm yourself!" Erik tries to calm down the emotionally overwhelmed Regan.

"Quiet you say!" Regan stared intently at Erik. The glint of anger was evident from both of his eyeballs. "Doctor asked me to end Selly's life You said I should calm down!" It was like Regan floated a raw bogem on her cousin. However, his consciousness was still very full.

Erik can't say anything now. He realized that his cousin was very emotional.

"I won't take those tools off!" Regan made her decision.

"But sir, by installing the tool will only give false hope to the Father and family, when in fact Ms. Selly may not exist," said one doctor.

Regan who was provoked by emotions had wanted to approach one of the doctors who spoke to her. However, Erik hurriedly held him back. "So, calm yourself!"

Regan can only cry over what happened to his wife. He really couldn't let go of the person he loved so much.

Daniel is the same as Regan. Her tears flowed upon discovering the fact that her daughter would die if the attached tools were released.

"Pa .. calm down." In the midst of his broken heart, Bryan tried to calm his papa down. As a parent Bryan knew how his papa felt.

Regan just rubbed her face so messed up. He doesn't know what to do.
