My Possessive Bodyguard's

My Possessive Bodyguard's
CHAPTERS. 45 My Secret is You

That afternoon...

“The calm is just fitting sleep.”

Victon looked at Valerie's sleeping face. So calm that for a moment he forgot about the riot that occurred a moment ago. Cup... “Great sleep, I go for a while.” After landing a kiss on his wife's forehead, Victon moved and was about to change clothes before leaving.

Victon was restless when his footsteps led him to leave the room. Not about her, but all the things Valerie was related to. The guilt was increasingly eating into Victon's body slowly. But all this he did was to keep the hard-earned trust he gained from Valerie.

“Sorry.”

Hiyak..hiyak!!

“Here sir. Since he chose retirement, this is how his life is.” Obviously Aldi.

A man was riding a white horse around the edge of the field. His spirit and cheerful face were clearly visible on the face of the man named Carl Eginhardt. He's the owner of the racetrack as well as an important person who is very difficult to meet Victon lately.

“There can I help?” Ask one of the big guys. His veined hand muscles clearly made Aldi and Victon retreat instantly.

“Carl. I want to meet him.” Victon said trying to stay authoritative.

“Boss? A moment...”.

Gleg. Despite being both big and burly, inexplicably Victon was horrified by the bald-headed man.

Moments later, Victon managed to meet him “Carl, do you remember me?” Victon asked Carl who was getting off his horse.

The man turned his head, “You? What the….Victon?!” Said the man named Carl excitedly.

They embrace each other like friends who have not met for years. Talk about the past briefly. A few minutes later, the conversation turned to a more serious topic.

“You can't just ask me how I'm doing, right? tell me, what's your goal.” The thin grin appeared on the tip of Carl's lips. He knew how Victon was from a long time ago because their relationship wasn't just an old friend.

Victon turned his head and leaned against the wooden fence, sighing slowly. “I need your help.” Victon.

“I won't be back Vic. You think I don't know if that piggyback is your guy, huh?” Said Carl while glancing at Aldi who turned his face.

Since a few days ago, Aldi met him for various reasons that make no sense, before Carl finally realized that this was all the work of Victon.

“I want to live a normal life, away from the hordes of powerful people like you.”

That speech was a little heartbreaking for Victon. “Common. I'm a businessman, not a criminal. This I do for my wife.” There's nothing wrong. Although not entirely, Victon's main goal is for Valerie's safety.

“Blessed with your wife. Give up before things get complicated. Sorry bro, I can't help you.” Carl pats Victon on the shoulder before continuing his steps.

“Someone wants my wife's life, and you want me to give up?.” Victon slightly raised his tone an octave, hoping that Carl would hear it and it worked.

“I can't lose it anymore.”

Let it sound sad though. Victon just wants Carl to understand the situation. No engineering, Victon was telling the truth.

Carl turned around with his serious face staring at Aldi and Victon alternately. “Your expectations are too big Vic. I've quit a long time ago and my life is far from the world out there, so..”.

" I'm sure you still have it.” Victon said convincingly.

“ It's old case.” Victon stared fixedly at Carl's neutrals along with his approaching steps. “I emphasize, I'm a businessman. We can talk about the advantages later, okay?” Victon's whisper in Carl's ear while smiling obliquely.

Meanwhile…

Dor …

The shot was right about the center point of the target board far ahead. As an activity as well as training skills, Valerie deliberately asked Victon to prepare a special training room for her. “What's the goal? He repeatedly discussed the case.”

Valerie again squinted her eyes behind the special glasses while strengthening the fitting angle of her hand that was about to aim again.

Dor…

The second shot missed a bit. “Did he suspect me?”

Dor…

Dorr…

Dor….

His heart heated up a little because of the various thoughts until the last shot shot shot away against the wall. “Sial! Huh!!”

“Please sort this out!!” valerie told a guard not far from her.

“Good mistress.”
