Daniel is Unsettled

Daniel's heart felt unsettled all day as he looked at the news that had appeared about him in all the mass media. Actually she wanted to go to Julia's place this morning. But he had to attend an important meeting. That damn meeting kept him so busy all day because he had to talk to company executives.

He looked towards his watch thinking that maybe now Julia was already home. He quickly grabbed his coat and walked out of the company building. He tried to call Julia a few times but couldn't.

Arrived at Julia's apartment...

Daniel knocks on Julia's apartment door, but no one opens it. So he pulled out a spare key from inside his pants pocket and opened the door. But he did not find anyone in Julia's apartment.

"Lia.... Lia honey, where are you?" Said Daniel.

She searched all over the place inside Julia's apartment, but didn't find Julia. He pulled out his phone and called Julia. But Julia's number is off.

She searches for Joana's number, but then realizes that she never kept all of Julia's friends' numbers. He's getting really confused right now.

"Lia, where are you going?" Said Daniel.

He then goes to Kevin's place, but Joana doesn't work there anymore. So he called his assistant.

"Jefri, try to find where Julia works now." Said Daniel.

Daniel also tells his assistant to check everything about Julia and find out where Julia is. Daniel thinks he's really stupid. He doesn't even know where his girlfriend works.

He also realized that lately he was not so concerned about Julia's condition as when they were in college first. They're so far away now. Daniel felt something disappear from his heart.

When they were in college, she knew all about Julia. She never let Julia get close to anyone. But now everything's changed. He's so busy he doesn't know anything about Julia. She only knows if Julia works at a hotel, but which hotel.

He didn't want to think that Julia had been taken by someone else. Julia never complained to herself. So he thought that everything was fine.

He wanted to tell Julia his true identity. He planned to explain everything to Julia. Then he wanted to propose to Julia. But everything went awry when her Papa suddenly became ill. He never had a chance to talk to Julia.

On Julia's graduation day, Daniel thinks he can tell her everything. But their kiss made her forget what she had planned and the next morning she got a call about her ailing papa.

Everything happened so fast. He's back at Julia's apartment. But Julia didn't come home. So she stayed there waiting for Julia.

Daniel's assistant called himself.

"Mr Daniel, Miss Julia works at our hotel. Hotel Cendrawasih as an assistant. But according to the information I got, today Miss Julia took a leave of absence for a few days. Now he's on his way to town x." Jefri.

The moment Daniel heard everything about Julia from his assistant, his face became grim. She never thought that Julia could just walk away like in.i Julia didn't give her a chance to explain everything. Then he called his assistant again.

"Booking a ticket for me to go to town X..."

"But sir, tomorrow you have a meeting with Mr. Leonardo. The meeting was very important and we can't ignore it." Reply Jefri.

"Then reset my schedule." Say Daniel again.

"You have a full week's meeting schedule." His assistant.

"Then cancel the meeting I'm going to the day after tomorrow and book a ticket for me." Daniel then hung up the phone.

That night Daniel decided to stay at Julia's apartment. She slept in Julia's bed. He felt something disappear in his heart.
