MY SECRET CEO

MY SECRET CEO
The Spirit of Friends

The day after...

Monday came back and kept the whole city busy with its work. And now I'm interviewing a new employee in my office. She will replace my office mate who is on maternity leave for the next three months. And I asked her her profile. Sit face to face in a room.

"Where did you know there was a job opening in this office?" ask a woman seven years younger than me.

"From my neighbor, brother. Said a friend of his friend works here." He explains.

Friends of his neighbor's friends? Why is the groove so dizzy to think about?

"alright. Are you having a family?" ask again.

"Already, Brother. My son is two" he replied.

At that moment, I scrunched my forehead. I lost to him. "What's your biggest motivation for working for this company?" ask her.

"I want to know the scope of editorship in the literacy company, Kak. I'm sure I can adapt quickly here" he replied.

"What skills do you have in the field of literacy?" ask her.

"I've been a reader for three years, brother. I also wrote for seven years. I write with the prevailing writing rules. I understand the concept of 5W+1H and also What if." He answered with certainty.

"alright. This week you were given the opportunity to show your dedication. If it's good, then we'll extend your contract." I'm interested in him too.

"Thank you, Brother. Thank you." Thank you." He also thanked me.

It is actually the job of the HRD department to interview new employees. But they were all in a meeting with our manager. So as an old employee, I replaced their duties for a while. Because of pity also if you let the job applicant wait too long. He also has a lot of work to do.

Hours of office...

"Yesterday mommy didn't really invite you, Ras?" ask Stefany while tidying up her computer desk.

"No" I answered briefly.

"You have no intention of finding a partner?" Stefany looks worried about me.

I'm down. Confused what to answer.

"Ras, our old friends are all married. Maybe it's time you caught up with them. Five years you've been single without direction. It's good that you make peace with yourself. Not necessarily your boyfriend like he used to."

Stefany seems to know exactly what happened to me. Let's say he's my closest friend in this office. He also always defended me in every person who denounced my singles status.

"I'm still thinking about it." I said so too.

Stefany held my shoulder. "If you think about it, it won't solve the problem. It's good we try, somehow. At least God knows if we're trying. HE'll give it to her, too." Stefany said to me again.

I'm moved. Stefany was so good to me. I embraced her as a friend and family. Our age is not much different. The difference is that he is married and has two children, while I have not.

"alright. I'll try." I was excited in front of him too.

Stefany smile. "You can definitely grab it, Ras. The spirit!" He also encouraged me.

"Spirit!!!"
