The rain of wind flushed the city, making cars and other vehicles that passed by stopped for a moment to pull over. The strong wind made the trees there twitch as if they wanted to fall from their place.
Time has gone by at night, though the lights on can not illuminate the streets that are fluttered with heavy rain as well as wind. Regan is forced to stop at a nearby minimarket, fearing something bad happens to them both.
"We stop first until the rain subsides" said Regan Yona.
They should have rushed home before evening. But the view there they can't afford to miss. Regan and Yona are hypnotized by the beauty of nature and forget the time to go home.
Yona shivered in the cold, she had no jacket or anything in her small suitcase.
Regan picks up her jacket inside the car's dashboard, draping it on Yona's shoulder.
"Other times when traveling prepare a jacket," said Regan warning if events like this repeated again.
Regan got out of his car to buy a warm drink available at the minimarket where he was sheltering. Yona caught up with him, intending to find some snacks to fill her stomach that had started to rumble.
They both sat in the minimarket chairs, eating snacks and warm drinks that he had bought.
"It looks like the rain is not easing, the wind is getting stronger," said Yona close her jacket cold.
Regan nodded approving of what the woman said.
"The season in Indonesia can not be guessed, the people are too trivial nature," said Regan.
Forests are cut down and burned for land, mountains become deforested, land in the hills humans take for their purposes to cause landslides. Not to mention the unconsciousness of humans who throw garbage at times to cause flooding.
If nature is angry, what can man do?
Regan hopes the government can make regulations for prevention of such a thing happening. Disaster is God's plan, but God will not be angry if humans take care of nature well. That's what Regan thought about nature and people.
"Wouldn't we find a hotel to stay at?" yona asked worried that if they forced themselves to go home there would be nothing on the way.
"I checked on Google Maps first" Regan answered looking for a nearby hotel on her phone.
Regan is looking for a hotel that he thinks is good, safe and comfortable. He found one hotel that had its criteria, 300 meters from where it is today.
"I found it" said Regan.
Yona nodded, she stood following Regan to immediately head for the hotel they were heading to. It only takes five minutes to get there.
The hotel is quite magnificent, the condition of the hotel is neat, clean, and also has the latest building. A receptionist greeted them,
"How many rooms, sir?" ask the receptionist.
"Two rooms," Yona replied ahead of Regan, fearing the man would take advantage of the circumstances to his advantage.
The receptionist asks Regan and Yona to follow her, driving Regan and Yona to their room which happens to be next door.
"Happy to enjoy our hotel service, if anyone is needed can contact us with the phone provided. Good night, Mother, Father" said the receptionist.
Yona unlocks the door to her room. "You sure you slept alone?" regan asked, looking at Yona uncertain.
"Who, why?"
"You don't know that all the hotels have their waiters?" regan asked deliberately to scare Yona.
Yona frowned, she was not a person who believed in such things.
"Waiters? Wh who? You?" yona asked shaking her head.
Yona flicked her shoulders indifferently, not caring about what the man said to scare her away.
Yona picks up her change of clothes in her small suitcase, and Yona decides to clean herself up and rest after that because of the tiredness that is now ambushing her.
The thunderous sound of lightning made Yona tiptoe in shock, just as the woman had completed her bathing ritual. The fear swirled over him, the flash of lightning that was visible on the window of his hotel room was so obvious.
Yona shuddered in horror, the woman immediately changed clothes and ran out of her room to head for Regan's hotel room.
Impatiently, Yona pressed the button on Regan's room door and banged it hard. I hope the man hears it.
"Come on Regan, don't sleep yet" muttered Yona fearing that Regan wasn't listening to the bell she was ringing.
Regan opened the door, her forehead wrinkled to see Yona standing in front of her room.
"Hey," call Regan as Yona breezes into her room.
Yona immediately spread her body on the bed, covering herself with a blanket wrapped around her body.
"She dared to sleep alone," sneered Regan with her hand rubbing her wet hair with a towel.
"I'm afraid of lightning" Yona replied to Regan's taunts.
"Say it can't be far from me" Regan replied snorting.
Yona throws a pillow at Regan. "You, just sleep on the couch" Yona said, making Regan widen her eyes.
"Have you forgotten this is my room?" ask Regan with a waist.
"I was just hitchhiking last night" Yona replied innocently.
Yesterday, did they want to stay there until when? Until they get married and have children? Didn't he?
"I don't want to, my body is tired all day driving" complained Regan.
"Do you think I slept on the couch?" asked Yona to solicit fiercely.
"I'm not telling you to sleep on Yona's couch, I want us to share the bed."
"Ck, in your dreams!" yona answered, covering her body with a blanket.
"Yes, I moved into your room" said Regan.
Yona opens her blanket, the woman stares at Regan in disbelief. What difference does it make if they end up sleeping in a different room? Yona's intentions come there with the aim of finding friends so that she is not alone.
Duarrrrrrrr, the thunderclap sound made Yona run to hug Regan. The woman hugged Regan tightly.
"Regan, I don't want to be alone" said Yona, with her trembling body, hearing the sound of lightning outside.
Regan grabbed Yona's body, stroking Yona's head.
"Sttt, don't cry. I will not leave you alone" said Regan, giving calm to Yona, who was terrified of her past.
The thunderbolt, made Yona remember the kidnapping that had happened to her. The kidnapping that almost made him die because of his fanatical fans at that time.
Tonight, Yona is not alone. He wants to be with someone who can calm him down. He wanted Regan to be with him, to be with him at times like this.
