Resigning

Daytime at Gilang's house.

"Excuse me Madam" Kinan told Mama Desi who was sitting in the family room.

"Eh Kinan, what's up, son?" Ask Mama Desi friendly.

"Sorry to disturb the Madam, but I have decided to resign" Kinan said, handing him a letter of resignation.

"I can't accept your resignation before I know why" Mama Desi refused.

"But Madam, I can't say it" Kinan said.

"Then I can't accept your resignation, either" said Mama Desi.

"This is your last paycheck" said Mama Desi, handing him a brown envelope containing a red note.

Kinan looked at the money in the envelope.

"Thank you, think of it as a form of my affection for you," said Mama Desi.

"Okay Madam," replied Kinan.

"May I go now?" Ask Kinan.

Mama Desi nodded.

"I send my greetings to Miss Sepia and Mr Gilang ", said Kinan.

Mama Desi nodded. Then he hugged Kinan affectionately.

His hopes of making Kinan a son-in-law were dashed.

"May you be happy, son. Wherever it is," said Mama Desi as she let go.

Kinan smiled and nodded.

Kinan put his foot out of the house.

"Maybe this is my last step in this house," said Kinan.

After arriving in the front yard, Kinan turned his body.
