CH 1: THE LOSER

A man wearing a black coat and a white hat was watching the corpse of a girl who was in front of him. The man was together with a young man whom he called 'Partner'.

"Hey, do you think life is fair?" The man began to ask the young man, who was examining what was on the victim's body.

"Why should I ask that now?" The man answered like a confused man. Then he stood up and turned his back to look at the black-robed man, asking, "Isn't there anything else to ask?"

"No, I just want to know about the real world!" Reply to the man with curious eyes to his partner.

"I should have asked you that! Aren't you more mature than me?"

The man then walked towards the victim lying on the ground, and covered his head with the coat he was wearing while saying, "You know, you know, the weak will be oppressed and the strong will oppress!"

After searching for clues in the body of the victim, he finally realized something, that the culprit was actually nearby. "Am I not right that the world is not fair? The proof is. You killed him, didn't you?"

After a long sleep, the dawn was welcomed. The sun slowly began to rise from the east, signifying that a new day had arrived.

10 August 2025, Western Region…

A 17-year-old man, with a normal look, had just woken up from his sleep.

He is myself…

My name is Edward Josephus. Call myself Edward - even though I was called 'Loser' by my friends at school.

I'm just an ordinary student! Maybe I'm special, because I'm the one who's always bullied at school.

That's all that's special about me…

Perhaps, some of them still think of me as an ordinary human being.

And in fact, I am not stupid in my lessons, it's just that my physique is relatively weak and easy to beat makes me often treated differently.

Suddenly someone knocked on my door and said, "Sister, quickly get out of your sleep! If not, we'll be late!" It turned out that this person was my sister who was now 15 years old.

"Well wait a minute!" I replied by agreeing.

Finally, I got out of bed and walked to the bathroom to get ready for school.

It was very tiring, but just woke up from sleep, but already wanted to sleep again. This road I just took, it was like walking through a wilderness many miles away.

I finally got to the bathroom door. A lot of water washed down the floor, where it all turned out to come from a bath full of water.

"Oh, I forgot to turn off the water! Brother hurry up and take a shower, before we're late for class!!" Shouted Carolina who told me to quickly take a shower, while pointing towards the bathtub.

"All right, I get it!" I finally accepted it and took a quick shower.

After I finished washing myself and changed into school clothes, I finished my breakfast and headed to school.

On the way to school I just looked at the skyscrapers, as well as some people passing by. I went on the bike I borrowed from my parents.

At seven o'clock, I arrived at the school gate. There were already seen some people running into the school field area.

Without a second thought, I put my bike in the parking lot, and rushed towards the classroom as soon as the class would start.

And I arrived just as the bell rang.

But it happened again...

"Oi! Why are you late?! If it is late, shouldn't it be punished?! Rest later follow me to the back!!" Said someone I hated the most in a harsh tone. He was the one who always bullied me.

His name is Yoshua Gregory. She is now 17 years old, with blood type B.

"All right!" I just say yes, and walk towards my seat.

Arriving at the seat, someone spoke to me. "Hey, let me go later!" It turns out that the one who spoke was my only friend. He was always by my side when I was alone.

His name is Steven Doyland. Born on December 3, 2007, with blood type AB.

"All right, thanks Steven!" I said, extending my right hand to shake hands with him.

After a while, finally a teacher came into our classroom. A female teacher who will teach us in Physics.

Her name is Tora Cantika. She is 27 years old and has been teaching at this school for 4 years. His blood type is B.

"Okay kids, let's start the lesson!!" Exclaimed Bu Tora from the front, whose voice reached the rear row.

And, the hours of the lesson lasted for a long time…

In the end, the break bell rang...

"Yes-yes! Just a minute." Reply casually and follow what he commands.

Yoshua went with some of his friends who both bullied me this often.

Finally, we got to the back of the school. Without thinking about anything else, Yoshua directly threw my body towards the objects made of glass, making it break until it pierced my back.

I tried to keep getting up, but still I was beaten until some parts of my body were swollen.

All that I have to hold until my body can't move anymore. The pain that kept clumping in my body, and the blood that splattered from my nose made me weak and almost lost consciousness.

"Haha!! Feel that! Eat it no longer late!!" Shouted Yoshua in excitement after beating up this cowardly me.

However, a girl suddenly came towards us saying, "Stop that!" With a tone full of anger.

"Ha! Who're you?!" Yoshua was upset and moved towards the woman while trying to pull her collar.

But unfortunately, the woman was able to fend him off using her palm while saying, "If not, I'll report it to the teacher!" With words like threatening Yoshua.

"Curtain! All right, I'll go, just watch out for you!" yoshua was annoyed as he left the place.

The girl approached me and asked if I was okay. I immediately replied, "Of course, thank you for helping me. I shouldn't look weak in front of women, but what can I do."

"It's okay, in my eyes everyone is the same." Her soft voice shook my ears. The girl continued her words by saying, "My name is Karin Hondwey - you can call me Karin!" He said while helping me stand up.

"Well I seem to have heard your name, you're the class president next door huh?" Ask me if it's true.

"Emm.. right! By the way what's your name?" Karin asked, curious about me.

"Before that, I want to thank you. And call myself this Edward." I reply while bowing respectfully to him.

"Okay, then I'll go first!" He said as he left the place, and just in time the break was over.

In a hurry, I ran to the class on time. Although I did not have time to eat, I was used to holding hunger even in a long period of time.

A middle-aged male teacher started getting into our classroom, he was a teacher teaching in biology.

Jone Tondreas is her name, she is blood type A. He is now 48 years old.

"Good kids, let's start the lesson!!" Shouted Mr. Jone with his voice that was not too audible in the back row. "Now get out your books!" He shouted, while putting the books he brought on the teacher's desk.

The bell rings…

At exactly twelve o'clock in the afternoon, we went home because the teachers would hold a meeting together. Students are allowed to go home first.

Before I move out of class. Looks like there's something in the drawer under my desk. It is like a letter.

What is this letter? Try opening it first!

After I opened it, I immediately understood that the letter was a love letter!

Really it? I'm still not sure?

The letter said that I was directed to go to the back of the school cafeteria after school.

What can I do, it looks like I will deal with this first, then after that I can go home and relax in my comfortable home.

Without thinking anything, I walked towards the intended location.

And I arrived at the place where he told me to meet.

From behind the shadow, there appeared a beautiful woman with long, beautiful hair, a woman who seemed to be about the same age as me.

"So you called me. Karin?"

"Yes right, I just want to say something!" He said with a smile and embarrassed.

"I want you to be my girlfriend!"

"Daughter?"

Hearing this, the soul inside me seemed to jump. It felt like my body wanted to explode. I thought all this was just a dream, but after examining all this was not a dream.

"Yes, do you want to be my girlfriend?" He said as he stroked his own hair.

"of course! But why do you want to be with me?" I wondered, because I was not sure of this.

"Because I like your good nature!" After saying this, Karin turned her back to me.

"Hmm.. Well then!" I finally agreed to her offer to date me.

However, I still felt something strange about his behavior. It was as if I was caught in a deadly trap.

Maybe I'll follow this game first…
