"Why does Papa really mean that I have to stay with him? Bad papa, I don't want to stay with Papa." Ivy strongly refused his father's request, until whenever he would not want to.

"As of now she's still trying to get your custody. Even he wants to bring this to the legal path" explained Ivy's mother.

Ivy shook her head in disbelief, so much as Ivy's father wanted to get custody of her? Even though he already had two children from the results of his affair, why is it still not enough?

Yes, Ivy's parents have been divorced for a long time because Ivy's father was caught cheating on him with his coworkers. Ivy was disappointed, the father who used to love him so much, even gave anything Ivy wanted, now that it was all gone, Ivy was very disappointed in his father for betraying their family.

Ivy's gaze unintentionally saw a reddish mark on his mother's wrist. Ivy knew that her mother was lying, her father must have done something. Ivy's hand immediately moved to hold his mother's right hand.

"Mama lied." Ivy raised her mother's wrist which looked flushed. "This what? Papa hurts Mama again, doesn't he?" said Ivy.

Ivy's mother smiled. "Mama can't lie to you" he said.

"Papa can't be abandoned, Ma. We have to report Papa to the police, this is the umpteenth time Papa has hurt Mama" Ivy said in a speech that showed he was angry.

"Don't darling. After all, he is your Papa. He loves you" said Ivy's mother. "So she wants your custody because she loves you" Ivy's mother continued.

"No, Papa doesn't love me. If Papa loved me, Papa couldn't possibly have betrayed us" Ivy said in disbelief.

"Papa just wants his company to have a successor, and I'm not interested in being a successor."

Ivy only finds out that her father wants her to be the successor to the man's company. Ivy feels that her father just wants to use her, and Ivy hates that.

"Papa had two more children, his favorite son. Why aren't they the ones who run Papa's company? Why should I?" Ivy said in a dislike tone.

Ivy's mother sighed, she had already tried to get Ivy to not hate her own father, but it was all in vain. When Ivy was little the boy did not hate his father, but the more Ivy grew up, Ivy showed her hatred openly, even Ivy did not care if the man died though.

Ivy never mentioned his father's name in public, Ivy only mentioned his mother's name. Ivy hates that guy.

"She feels like you're the only one worth continuing with."
