Nexus: Cyber Samurai
Episode 1 - Awakening in Neon City

Hikari Miyamoto woke up feeling dizzy amidst the neon flashes that were emanating in the skies of Neon City. He sat down, trying to figure out how and why he was in this foreign place. The memory is empty, like a book without pages. He held his throbbing head and tried to stand up straight. His dizziness began to fade, and he could see around clearly.

Neon City is a futuristic city filled with dazzling neon lights and advanced technology. Magnificent buildings were sticking high in the sky, and the streets were filled with futuristic vehicles that passed by quickly.

Hikari felt a little awkward with her striking samurai clothes in the middle of this modern city, but she had no choice but to adjust to the situation. He felt that there was something special about his sword that he was holding tightly, even though he did not know what the reason was.

As he strolled through the city, he saw a group of tech bandits attacking a group of terrified civilians. Their cruel actions made him hiss angry. Without a doubt, he decided to fight these bandits and protect the weak ones.

"Shut up and get out of here!" hikari exclaimed in a loud voice, threatening the bandits.

The bandits laughed, thinking Hikari was just a bragging samurai. However, they soon realized how wrong they were due to Hikari's quick and accurate movements when she drew her sword. The neon glint dazzled as his sword moved perfectly, cutting a group of bandits into two pieces.

The surrounding people were shocked by Hikari's speed and skill. They looked at her with awe and gratitude as Hikari gave a brief smile before leaving.

His first experience in Neon City taught Hikari about two things: first, he had extraordinary abilities as a samurai; and second, there was something different and special about the world he was in.

Hikari was trying to find out more about herself and why she was in Neon City. He visited the temples and asked the locals, but the answer remained non-existent. He was frustrated with his endless confusion.

One day, as she walks the streets filled with neon, Hikari meets a young man named Kenji. He is a member of the resistance movement that aims to fight against the rule of the evil Megacorp, the giant corporation that controls most of the technology in Neon City.

Kenji watched Hikari closely, as if trying to read her mind. "You look confused, what are you looking for here?" tanyanya.

Hikari honestly told her about her memory loss and her confusion about her identity. Kenji feels sorry for Hikari and decides to help her.

"Join us" said Kenji, "We are a resistance movement trying to uncover Megacorp's crimes and save Neon City from their clutches. Perhaps there's a connection between your presence here and their evil plans."

Hikari felt that this was the reason why he was in Neon City. Maybe his presence here is part of Megacorp's nefarious plan. He agrees to join the resistance movement, hoping that in it he will find answers about his identity and his true purpose.

By joining the resistance movement, Hikari gained true friends. He learns about the dark world behind neon sparkles and the advanced technology of Neon City. The struggle against Megacorp becomes Hikari's new goal, and she is determined to uncover the truth and protect this city that is now part of her.

In the next few weeks, Hikari underwent intensive training with members of the resistance movement under Kenji's guidance. He shocked his friends with his incredible fighting abilities, as if he had been born with a strong samurai instinct.

As she gets closer to the members of the resistance movement, Hikari also begins to find a warmer human side and a long-buried feeling. He becomes close to Aiko, an intelligent technologist responsible for controlling the movement's communications and intelligence. Aiko teaches her about futuristic technology, while Hikari introduces Aiko to the honor and courage of the samurai.

However, still, Hikari's past memories remained tightly shut. Although he had developed a strong bond with his friends, he felt that there was an invisible wall separating him from them. His anxiety deepened, and he wanted to know what his lost memories were hiding.

"Hikari, you look depressed. What worries you?" ask Kenji gently.

Hikari paused for a moment before finally expressing her doubts about the absence of any memories of her past. "I feel like there's a part of me missing, Kenji. I wonder who I really am and how I ended up in Neon City."

Kenji placed his hand on Hikari's shoulder, giving her support. "We'll find the answer together. No matter what we face, we will face it together as a team."

Hikari smiled, relieved to get support from her friend. He knew that he was not alone in this struggle.

One day, while they were on a secret mission to gather evidence about Megacorp's crimes, Hikari accidentally finds an old man inside a hidden room in Megacorp's headquarters. The man looked old and weak, but his eyes glittered with wisdom.

"Sir, what are you doing here?" ask Hikari carefully.

The man smiled faintly. "I know about you, Hikari Miyamoto. You are a legendary Cyber Samurai who is considered lost from this world. You don't remember who you really are, do you?"

Hikari was surprised by the man's words. He approached the old man carefully. "How do you know about me? And why don't I remember anything about my past?"

The old man lifted a piece of cloth dangling from his neck, showing a shiny eye-shaped medallion. "This medal is a special identifier for selected Cyber Samurai. You are the only one left of this long-lost order."

Hikari felt the medal with her fingers, trying to understand its meaning. "But why don't I remember about my past?"

The man leaned his body against the wall, sighing heavily. "Your abilities as a Cyber Samurai come with a price. To protect the world from dark forces, you make a great sacrifice. The power of the Nexus Code within you has consequences. Your memories of the heroic past are erased, and you are obliged to live as a commoner, as if ever becoming a samurai were a lost memory."

Hikari held the medal tightly. The man's words shook his confidence about his identity. However, in his heart, there was a sense of relief that there might be an answer as to who he really was.

When he returns to the headquarters of the resistance movement, he shares this discovery with Kenji and his friends. They all felt astonished and fascinated by the existence of Hikari as the only surviving Cyber Samurai.

"With the power of this Nexus Code, do I have to accept my destiny as a samurai who will never remember my true past?" asked Hikari doubtfully.

Kenji touched Hikari's shoulder gently. "That was your choice to make, Hikari. You are a true hero who will continue to protect Neon City with or without any memories of the past. You are us, and we are you."

Hikari smiled, feeling a growing determination in her heart. He may not know who he really is, but he knows that he is the Cyber Samurai, the guardian of Neon City, and the friends here are his family. The journey of uncovering his identity has just begun, and he is ready to face the future with his head held high.
