Kazuki's gaze reacted with a bright light shining down on his face. Several men in black surrounded the helpless ninja. His senses and instincts are impaired. It turned out to be caused by an anesthetic weapon from looters known as blood raiders. They ransacked Kazuki's supplies and retrieved the worthless items, as most of his supplies were stored in the dimensional ring on Kazuki's left hand index finger. Luckily the looters didn't know. The tired young man looked around for Qixuan who was not in a dark place like that cave.

Kazuki who was bound by his hands, feet and mouth was gagged helplessly when a high-level spiritualist from among the looters locked onto his Meridian points. Kazuki rebelled in pain, but due to the improper direction of the light he could not clearly see the faces of the looters. After obtaining the loot, the blood looters left Kazuki just like that in the dark cave without the slightest light. Qixuan turned out to be not far from where Kazuki was, it could be known from the girl's moaning voice. The young man was grateful that the General girl was fine.

Because his Meridian points were locked he could not escape from the bond except manually. Kazuki was looking around for a stone or something sharp enough to cut the rope that bound him. Those blood-red eyes observed the two people one of whom was unaware of his existence. An evil laugh rang out, echoing within the cave resuscitated Kazuki who finished unbinding Qixuan. The young man became alert to hear the terrible sound sounding extremely loud as it bounced inside the cave.

The flying black figure approached Kazuki who could not see him in the darkness. "How are you, Ishikawa Kazuki...." The young man cried out in shock as his voice was so close to the ear. Kazuki who still had the dimensional ring immediately took out his sword.

"What can you do with that cheap weapon, hahahaha!" he laughed hard.

That black figure gave rise to medium monsters with its black spiritual power to attack Kazuki. His instincts and senses that had returned to normal were of little help but because of the number of invisible creatures in the dark it was more than one he was quite battered. His body became full of cuts and scratches.

While Qixuan who heard Kazuki's scream grew panicked as something wrapped around her leg. His spiritual strength even made the creatures that wrapped around him increasingly violent. By carrying a bowl of warm soup he helped Kazuki move to lean higher. The hazel eyes glanced at his powerful bandaged left hand, then glanced at the beautiful woman who was watching him.

"What's your name? Can you hear me?" ask the woman with a very close face. Kazuki put on an uncomfortable expression making the woman chuckle softly.

"I'm not gonna eat you. Eat a freshly cooked warm soup. I've opened up your Meridian points to also bandage your wounds. I also took out the poison. Can you eat by yourself? You have been unconscious for almost 5 days. Your face is so pale." Hearing that all Kazuki was surprised, but being limp did not get any intake when the coma made it very difficult to just make a sound. So weak!

"Drink this water first.." Kazuki gulped his water slowly.

Kazuki looked at the girl. He was confused as to what to do next. Her wounds and meridians may improve. But to continue on the journey and ignore such a monster figure was a bad choice. Especially if he goes after the empire. Why didn't that thing kill us?

The woman who owned the hut approached the two of them then introduced herself.

"My name is Jing Yi."
