Failing to Get Married

The night was getting late, no more frenzy was heard. Sherly can't close her eyes. He should sleep fast, because tomorrow is a big day for him. Where she will hold the status of Lady Noah Alexander.

Which woman is unhappy and proud can hold such a great status. But not for Sherly, what she felt was a deep burden. Guilt really haunts him. It is still imagined that Mr. Erlan called himself and asked him to explain everything. But, Noah came to cover it from embarrassment.

It's just, what Noah did even more makes Sherly feel guilty. To be honest he already wanted to admit everything in front of Mr. Erlan. After exiting the study, Noah pulls Sherly's hand into the room. Still vividly remembered how Sherly had talked to Noah to break it all down.

"Why are you lying. Let me tell you everything." Sherly.

"No. Are you crazy, huh? You don't see the wedding preparations are over, and we're only getting married tomorrow." Reply Noah.

"I don't want to lie any more."

"Do you want to be deported?" Ask Noah.

"I don't want to. But, ...."

"There's no buts. Now you better get some sleep, because tomorrow you have to get up early." Speak Noah in a high tone.

Noah then walked out of the room. However, Sherly grabbed his hand.

"Why do you want to help me?" Ask Sherly again.

For a moment Noah was silent, as if thinking to answer what.

"Noah you....."

"Take it because I want to feel sorry for you." Noah said casually then walked out of the room.

Until the wall clock showed at 2 am, Noah did not return to his room. Sherly took a long breath. Himself clever.

'If only Noah had the same feelings as me. Our marriage will be happy. But, all this happened because of myself.'

Sherly took a deep breath. Since long ago, he always dreamed of being able to marry a man he loved and also loved himself very much. But, what would happen now was, her love clapped one hand. Sherly closed her eyes and began to fall asleep.

An hour later, he woke up from a bad dream. Sherly quickly packed her things into a suitcase. The dream made him realize that everything he did was a mistake.

While packing all of her clothes, Sherly felt her eyes heat up and suddenly her tears fell down.

"What's wrong with me?" Ask Sherly to herself.

In her heart, Sherly felt so sad because she was unable to marry the man who had actually captured her heart. But on the other hand, he did not want to start everything with a lie. The kindness of the Alexander family, makes Sherly feel bad if you have to lie to them further.

'I'm sorry Noah, for having to embarrass you.' Sherly said in her heart as she wrote a note on paper.

Sherly's tears shed as she wrote an apology to Alexander's entire family, especially to Bella, her future mother-in-law.

Sherly walks out of the house. But not as smooth as he thought. Because in fact there are many servants and bodyguards who are still awake.

'How is this?' thought Sherly.

Sherly really can't move. He doesn't know what to do. Eventually, he decided to wait until morning.

"Wait until tomorrow, when people start to get crowded. I can infiltrate between them without anyone recognizing." Sherly.

In the morning, Sherly could not sleep anymore. He could only wait until the invited guests began to arrive. Because Noah decided to have his wedding at home just simple and family. Sherly, who asked from the beginning not to use the services of a makeup artist, chose to make up for herself. And it can benefit his position that currently wants to escape without anyone knowing.

Everyone starts to arrive, Noah begins to wear his bridal outfit, a white suit with black pants in a different room to Sherly's.

Bella decides to check on Sherly's preparations. Erlan is silent and hopes everything goes well and what the immigration authorities say about Sherly is wrong. Bella stands at Noah's door and knocks.

"Sherly, are you ready, baby? The show will soon begin." Bella shouted from behind the door.

"Maybe in a moment." Reply Sherly yelling.

Bella smiles and returns to Noah's room. That's when Sherly steals the opportunity with kabir from Noah's house after he previously called a taxi online. Sherly wears a scarf to cover her hair and head. Not to forget he was wearing sunglasses and also a mask to trick the servants and guards at Alexander's house.

With great difficulty, Sherly was finally able to get out of Alexander's residence and immediately boarded the taxi that was waiting for him. In the taxi, Sherly quickly called the immigration authorities, Mr. Andre.

"Meet me at the airport. Right now we're back in town Y and you can immediately deport me." Said Sherly without further ado.

Mr. Andre, who was sitting in the guest chair, smiled at Sherly's words and walked out of Alexander's residence.

All of them sat in their seats. Jimmy and Clara sat side by side and would soon make their sacred vows before everyone. However, Sherly had not yet come out of the room.

Clara and Jimmy also say their sacred wedding vows before family and invited guests while waiting for Sherly to come. Bella has asked the two maids to see if Sherly is ready. Bella goes to pick Sherly up in the room as her wedding procession is about to begin. Noah already had a bad feeling.

Bella arrives in front of the room and knocks slowly. There was no answer from inside.

"Sherley... Are you ready, son?" Ask Bella.

Again there is no guarantee, until Bella also decided to enter the room greetings. Bella walked slowly into the room. She looks so cute in a soft pink dress. He was so shocked when he went inside, there was no one in the room.

'Where's Sherly?'

Bella walks into the bathroom, and she doesn't find Sherly. Bella's gaze turned towards the dresser as it contained a paper. Bella read the paper.

'Noah, Mr. Erlan, Lord Adam, and especially for the woman I currently call Mama Bella, I'm sorry...'

A confused Bella walks out and meets Noah, who is waiting for Sherly to arrive. As Bella walks alone holding a piece of paper, Noah realizes that something wrong has happened.

"Where's Sherly?" Noah asked in panic.

"Some one can explain Mama, what does this letter mean? Why is Sherly apologizing? Why would he go like this?" Ask Bella.

Noah was speechless by staring at the paper he had taken from Bella's hand.

Everyone present started to grow noisy. Married Jimmy and Clara are silent. The Great Lords Adam and Erlan were closing in on Bella.

"What's wrong?" Ask the Great Lord Adam.

"Sherly go." Reply Bella by massaging her forehead.

"I guessed it." Erlan.

Bella immediately looked at Erlan and questioned him,

"What do you mean? Do you know anything about this?" Ask Bella.

"I'm sorry, honey. I haven't told you since last night. Yesterday someone from the immigration side came and said that Sherly married Noah was likely to get her citizenship only. They both lied about everything." Erlan. "I just didn't think that a good-looking girl could do any of this." Erlan.

Bella was silent, she tried to digest everything.

"Can't be like this. I have to see him." Noah said he was going after Sherly.

Noah's hand was pulled by Erlan who was trying to hold him.

"What else are you after him for. It's obvious he's using you." Erlan.

Noah releases Papa's hand.

"I was the one who suggested he do all this." Reply Noah who makes the look of Erlan's face look confused. "Don't ask me why I did it. All because it has to do with the heart." Noah then walked out.

Everyone fell silent and without saying anything Bella walked up to Noah in front of the house. Noah was riding in his car and was about to drive it out of the yard. However, Bella yells making Noah brak suddenly.

"Bring Mama's daughter-in-law home..." Shouting Bella.

Noah looks and smiles and runs his car.

"What's wrong with you, baby? You're as stupid as your son. Still going after the girl." Erlan Protest.

"You're the fool." Reply to Lord Adam. "Don't you see your son is already in love with that girl. Didn't you do the same thing first. You're so crazy about your wife. You're even like crazy looking for him for 7 years, without thinking he could've been married."

Erlan fell silent.

"Sherly's a good girl baby. Look now, the proof is that she left the wedding because she didn't want to take advantage of Noah." Bella said as she rubbed Erlan's cheek. "Now, let's go in. We should celebrate Clara's wedding." Bella then pushes Big Master Adam into the house.

Erlan fell silent and looked towards the gate.

"It turns out I'm just as stupid as my son. We were both fooled by love." Erlan said then walked in.

'Ah, Sherly is my daughter-in-law. I'm sorry I doubted you.'
