“So this is what you call a good wife and mother ? Go with other men without husband's permission ?”

Eve was shocked and almost spewed out the white water in her mouth when she saw Adam standing at the end of the stairs while folding both hands in front of her chest.

Eve was convinced that when she came home before turning to the kitchen to get a drink, no one was standing there.

“I sent a message asking for permission but you did not open my message. There are important things that I have to finish with Josh and before I meet him I send another message to the father number to just tell.”

“So in the future you will act like this ?”

“Why in married life many rules that harm the women,” grumbled Eve.

“You mean ?”

“Yesterday Mr. Adam left without telling me where to go and just this morning came home without any explanation. Does it only apply to husbands ?”

Adam was a little surprised to see Eve's eyes stare so wistfully and save the wound. Fortunately, the light around him was a little dim.

“Sorry I want to shower and rest first. If you want to scold and give advice, not tonight, postponed until tomorrow morning. I will not avoid.”

Adam who was still upset held Eve's arm as the girl passed him was about to go up to the 2nd floor.

“You are not only not licensed but dare to let another man embrace you in front of your own husband's house. It's not impossible behind me that you acknowledge as a husband, you guys do more than just hugs.”

“I make sure that Josh is the last man to embrace me as a friend even though we still expect to do it tomorrow and tomorrow again,” Eve said with a cynical smile.

“I won't let a woman like you be my daughter's mother !” adam leaned closer to Eve.

“Mr thought I..”.

“Stop calling me dad in this house !” snapping Adam with a loud voice and the grip of his hand grew stronger making Eve grimace.

Eve took a deep breath before looking up at Adam fixedly and suddenly she pressed her hand hard until Adam's grip slipped off.

Adam retreated as Eve approached him and grabbed Adam's shirt with both hands.

“Until when will Mas Damdam hate Eve ? Why always avoid when asked for a reason

Damdam hates Eve ? Why ? Since when and what makes Eve a pesky carrier girl in Mas Damdam's life ? Why ?!” Eve shouted back.

“Why Mas Damdam never wanted to answer it ! Eve knows that Erina and Mas Damdam secretly think Eve to be the cause of the accident that makes papa, mama and Mas Erlan died. But Mas Damdam's sudden hatred appeared already there before the accident that night.”

Eve's tears continued to flow down her face without being prevented. His eyes looked at Adam with a feeling of being scarred.

Adam was amazed, for a long time he had not heard the call coming out of Eve's mouth. The call that initially made Adam upset because such a mockery eventually became Eve's petty call to him.

His grip weakened and eventually slipped away. Eve crouched down and cupped her face between her knees. The force became harder and harder to make Adam's heart pinch.

Both of them flinching in his position, only the sobs of Eve's sobbing slowly began to subside.

Adam wanted to touch Eve's shoulder and before he made his decision, Eve stood up again and staggered.

Both of her hands rubbed her wet cheeks but could not dry as her tears were still flowing.

“Sorry I've been like a whining Lusi and can only cry. I don't mean to seek sympathy like you once told me. Excuse me first, my body is really tired and need to take a shower.”

Half-running Eve went straight up to the 2nd floor and into her room while Adam was still standing at the end of the stairs staring at the girl until it disappeared from her sight.

Adam walked towards the living room and sat down on the sofa. Several times he sighed heavily, his heart was ruffled again, the beautiful and painful shadow of the past made Adam massage his temple.

The accident that claimed the lives of 3 core families Eve is not the girl's fault. Only Adam knows why Eve had a high fever on her wedding day with Erina.

“Whatever Eve why, Ma ?” erina asked in an annoyed tone and a disappointed look.

Adam and Eve's wedding party just ended at one of the 3-star hotels in Jakarta. Given the busy schedule of events since 3am, Adam has prepared 2 rooms for the Erina family.

“Rather than going home it is better that he sleeps here, outside it is raining,” Erina said still in an annoyed tone.

Eve herself was sitting on the sofa and leaning her head against her grip.

“Papa also said so, but Eve did not want to say the air in the room remained cold even though the AC was turned off. Eve wants to go home by taxi but where maybe mom and dad could leave her alone at home in such a sick state.”

“You are on the road now ?” Erlan, papa and Adam who had discussed the condition Eve joined mama and Erina.

“Mas Erlan wants to go home too ? Room was in vain dong,” grumbled Erina.

“How could I let papa and mama take care of Eve at home,” said Erlan with a smile.

“You know for yourself how Eve's condition when she has a fever, she will not stop delirious like a toddler. Besides, if the hot night gets higher, Mas Erlan will take him to the hospital.”

Adam was just a listener, not giving any comment even though he knew what caused Eve's high fever.

2 days ago Eve was determined to come to Adam's house only to ask him why the man had silenced her and even built a battlefield between them that had been very close.

Adam refuses to meet Eve even though both his parents continue to persuade the man. Instead, Adam forbade anyone to let Eve into the house until she could only call Adam from the courtyard just below her window.

Adam who listened to music in his room did not realize that it was raining so hard. As he releases the headset, Eve's voice is no longer heard until Adam thinks the high school girl has finally given up. As he walked to the window, Adam found out that it was raining that night and his eyes were breaking when he saw Eve had just come out of the gate drenched.
