Sofia is a very beautiful country girl who was born in Sundanese land. Some people call it the village flower and become the target of poets.
There was not one proposal that Sofia received because her heart had been tethered to a handsome man from central Java. A sweet black man named Hakim who works at Haji Soleh's shop.
Both of them are saving to be able to realize the dream marriage. But the romance story that has been running for three years must be extinct when Pak Yanto-his father Sofia found out that Hakim is a man of Javanese descent.
The myth that Sundanese women should not marry men from Java is the reason. He said if the marriage still happens it could bring misery, but there is also the opposite. Not bad, but richer. Whether true or not but some parents like Mr. Yanto are still fondling it.
"Sorry, Son. You can't accept me to be your son-in-law. Sofia the father's daughter had been asked by a man first" Mr. Yanto told the judge who later that night expressed his intention to propose to Sofia.
"Mr ...." Sofia who had just presented drinking water immediately interrupted her father's speech. He was shocked when he heard that speech. When did any man come to propose to her other than the current Judge.
"Women who have been asked by other men should not be applied again. I hope the judge understands."
There was no harsh word in that speech. Mr. Yanto spoke good language and did not hurt. But the rejection obviously hurts Judge and Sofia who have to lose her dream.
"Sir, what the hell is this father. He had come to propose but was rejected. This father wants what the hell he says I should get married." An upset Sofia demands an answer from Mr. Yanto.
"You're the shit. I've always said that you don't want your son to get married"
"With Javanese ancestry," said Sofia, "that's what you always say. What's the reason? Bad business or not depends on us working hard, sir."
"It has. Pokonya you married by choice of father," said Mr. Yanto left his son and went into the room. It's late, it's time for rest not to argue.
Pak Yanto's decision is an absolute one. Let alone a daughter, his wife alone can not interfere with the argument.
The meeting with Sofia's future husband was held one day later. A white man with dry hair, gibboned came with his family members. There was nothing interesting about the man so Sofia was acting ordinary. Worse, he behaved.
"Bapak is very happy finally want Wawan to choose the father's daughter. He is indeed kada jutek but he is good really," replied Mr. Tanto glanced at Sofia. Ask her daughter to smile.
"Fun father, I'm the one who doesn't." Sofia muttered but Mr. Yanto still heard it.
The date of the wedding has been determined. It was exactly one more month after the meeting that day.
During the waiting period for the wedding day Sofia never showed any attention to Wawan. When asked Asmirah Mother to deliver food for her future husband, Sofia instead entrust the food. He chose to see the judge in his rented house.
"Why should I go home?" sofia asked, seeing Judge put her clothes in a big bag.
"Bandung is no longer a friendly place for me. Especially after you get married," replied the Judge staring blankly.
"Why don't you try to convince me. Why even leave? Which one did he say would fight for me?" Sofia shakes the Judge's shoulder still staring blankly. "How about we elope?" sophia's proposal was answered by the judge.
"Those who are married accompanied by blessing are still many trials. Especially without blessing. We're not gonna end up happy." The judge turned the alarm clock near the bed. "It's almost afternoon, go home! I'll leave tomorrow at dawn."
"Then get me pregnant so you can get us married."

"I received the marriage and marriage of Sofia Hafsari bint Yanto with a mascawin a set of prayer tools along with 33 grams of gold paid in cash." Wawan loudly said the sentence until the witness simultaneously said SAH.
Unlike Sofia, the happy hue on Wawan's face never subsided. With the hard work that he had been working on finally came to fruition. The village girl who became the target of the village youth has now become his.
His heart thumped even more when the beautiful girl was led to the agreement table for the signing of the marriage file to be valid in state and religion.
"Cieeeeee," compact the neighbors and guests present uttered the sentence as Wawan kissed Sofia's forehead on the orders of the photographer.
Prayer and congratulations accompany a marriage that is based without love. That was for Sofia but not Wawan. If only that day the Judge followed his proposal maybe the ones who are feeling happy today are they are not just Wawan.
Lepas Ashar akad and Reception events have aged. Invitational guests have begun to disperse leaving hajat owners and neighbors who are helping.
"Lucky yes Neng Sofia mah married Jang Wawan. Already handsome, his people are also diligent."
Lucky what? cebik Sofia in the heart. She just came out of the room after changing clothes. She met a mother who was still busy distributing food to those who were helping.
"Who is Wawan?" ask Bu Asmirah when she realizes the arrival of her daughter.
"In the room, change." Sofia answered ketus.
"Come here, you haven't eaten yet. Pity his fear later tonight has no energy," said Bu Asmirah again in a joking tone. Sontak mothers who are still there compact agree.

After returning from the mosque Wawan chose to chat with Mr. Yanto in-laws. Not daring to enter the room any more because Sofia was also still there. He only glanced at a glance then focused back on the chat with his in-laws.
"Sofia, A Wawan is tired. Get some rest, son."
Sofia sneered and smiled cynically. Even stomping the foot that had just come down from the chair. Walk first without taking the man who has become her husband.
When Wawan entered the room and closed the door, Sofia was already resting on the mattress with a position to spend the bed space. He deliberately so that Wawan does not sleep in his bed.
"If you sleep on the floor. Put on that mattress." Sofia's index finger was so straight towards the folding mattress that it was stored near the dirty clothes basket.
"This is our first night. Sleep time apart." Wawan still smiled even though Sofia had shown rejection through attitude.
There was no reply, the wife's body remained in its original place. Not giving room to himself. He also covered it with a folding mattress. His tired body did not have the energy to argue.
Sofia glanced at Wawan who was already lying on the folding mattress. He was just pretending to sleep. Lying against the wall he closed his eyes. Imagine that reality today with the man she loves. The deeper he saw the delusion. Until he unwittingly sighed and mentioned the name of the Judge.
