The twilight in the sky is painted. Rafandra's car arrives in the yard. Appearance messy. Because of the fight earlier, made his uniform tangle. Even so, Rafandra was grateful that there were no injuries she received.
Rafandra carries her bag into the house. He just passed the couch. A person who was waiting while reading the newspaper and coffee at the table looked at him. "Where have you been since yesterday?"
Rafan. Vikrama the father of Rafandra gave a sharp look. The man stood up, drawing closer to Rafan who never said. His sense of smell felt something. It smells familiar and he hates it.
"How many times has Papa told you, stop smoking! You want to imitate your bundles!?"
"Rafan did not smoke Pa," Vikram's only son finally voiced. This must be because of his fight with Danu. Rafan does not know if the smell of Danu cigarettes stuck to his body.
"No excuses! Papa nyium smelled of cigarettes from your body! You think your dad could be fooled?" Vikram did not give Rafan the opportunity to explain. The man was filled with anger.
"Papa came back here because of a problem you made in Australia. And here you want to make trouble too? Are you not deterred?"
Vikram is loud. He was disciplined towards his son even though it was his own puppet. The trauma he had due to the death of his wife made him not want his son to experience the same thing.
However, the way to educate his son is arguably too excessive.
And it must be accepted by Rafandra who is still a teenager.
Vikram opened the black door. A secret room he had made especially in his house. "Lake in!" Vikram's Word.
Rafan could not argue. Whatever he says doesn't matter to Vikram because he has no proof. He can only surrender. Prepare for punishment.
Rafan takes off the uniform while Vikram closes the door.
"For you not to repeat it, this time it's a hundred."
...*****...
I don't think time goes by so fast. After satisfied playing, Tama accompanied Alka to buy the novel book she wanted.
It was good to spend time with Alka. Tama could not hide her happiness.
The two of them sat at one of the food court tables. Ordering food and drinks. Alka opened up sheet by sheet the novel book she bought while snacking on fries.
"What do you like about fictional characters?" Tama asked. He was curious long ago. Alka never cared around and preoccupied herself more with her books.
"intriguing. I also don't know why I've always been fascinated with characters that aren't real" Alka replied honestly.
"Isn't it better real? I've been in front of you, Al. Am I not like the fictional characters you read about?"
Alka looked at Tama's lamat-goals. He shook. "No. The characters I read are powerful, immortal, and cannibal." Alka clamped Tama's pinkie suddenly and made Tama scream in pain.
"Al's pain," he lamented.
"Noah. Kelingking pinches just want to cry, still want to be a fictional character." Alka returned to her book.
"Yes, this is sudden. It hurts because it's not ready." Looking for reasons.
"Do not dream again to be a fictional character," replied Alka.
"Nice really," Tama pouted.
Alka sighed. He has known Tama for years. His childish attitude has not changed. That's why Alka was worried what if Alka wasn't on her side? Who will take care of him?
"You don't have to be a fictional character. Enough of being you. Fictional characters can only be imagined but cannot be felt, in contrast to characters in the real world." Alka smiled faintly.
"You're a real-world character to me, Tama. I don't need to get tired of imagining and hoping to feel you. Because you've been with me without me having to read a novel to find a character like you."
Alka's words made Tama speechless. The man was shocked. She faintly saw a red hue on her cheek. His heart is beating fast. That's a long sentence. It took a while for Tama to digest. And now his body feels out of control. Is there a special meaning behind these words?
"Here." Tama held her left chest. Looking Alkaisha. "The scenes are too loud. It felt tight" he said with a flushed face.
Alka blushing. He could not bear to see Tama who was fascinated by him. This was the first time he saw Tama was so adorable. Alka could not stand still just by looking at her. Both of his hands reached Tama's cheeks. Pinch to stretch. "Aw! Sick Al!"
Alka's smile expands. "Funny." he commented. "You're so funny Tam. Gemesine."
Either Tama should be happy or not. In Alka's eyes, Tama still looks like a child.
Alkaisha never responded seriously to Diratama's treatment.
As it was getting dark, they went home. Tama drove Alka to the front of the house. "Nearly semester exams. You must learn properly," Alka gave her advice.
Tama raised one hand. Make a respectful pose on the head. "Ready! Whatever I will do as long as Alka commands!" said it.
"Your grades should go up."
"definitely. I'll study with you from tomorrow."
"Studying by yourself can't?"
"As long as there are you, there's no harm in studying together, right?"
Alka can only say. Tama always had many reasons that could make Alka speechless. The man never gave up.
"alright. After school, I will teach you," said Alka who made Tama excited.
Although this was not the first time studying together with Alka, still Tama was happy.
Even when Diratama already say goodbye. Being on the highway, her smile was still etched beautifully on her sweet and petite face.
The distance of his house with Alka was not much. And it only took about fifteen minutes for Tama to get home.
Just now that he had parked the motorbike, both his parents seemed to be in a hurry towards the car. "Young, where did you just get home at this hour?" ask Diana.
"Nemenin Alka buy the same book for a short walk. Where are you going, Dad?"
"Emergency. Papa the same mom has to go to Rafan's house."
Tama raised her eyebrows. "What's wrong?"
"His father Rafan is at home."
Tama still doesn't understand. "Then why?"
Diana wanted to explain further but Erfan called out to her. Diana got into the car immediately. Before the car left, Diana opened the window.
"If you're hungry, you've made food on the table. Warm up if necessary." Diana's message then waved at her son and the car sped away from the residence.
Tama's still standing there. Not fully understood. Why his parents are in such a hurry to go to Rafan's house just because there is Vikram. Isn't it natural for Rafan's father to come home. Although crazy to work, he still took the time to go home to see Rafan. Then what's wrong?
Why do both parents seem so worried? And fear?
Remembering the incident that afternoon. Bad feeling. Could it have something to do with the brawl?
Did someone tell Rafan's father about it?
Tama rattled her hair in frustration. The more he thought about the more his head hurt. He doesn't know anything about Rafan's family, but his parents always tell him Vikram is scary when he's angry. And he did not hesitate to throw punches at his only son.
"Should I go there too?"
