CHAPTER 44

The morning after the shower and breakfast, Ratna prepared to go home. Mukid and Sinta also want to take Ratna back to her house.

"You don't have to take me home. Let me take a taxi" Ratna said. 

"Don't dong! We'll take you home Ratna. I became curious about the first wife of Mr. Candra. Ratna, let us take you home well" said Sinta. 

"Alright then" said Ratna.

Mukid stopped his car in front of a blue iron fence. The house looks still quiet.

"Mas Mukid is waiting in the car, yeah! I took Ratna inside first," said Sinta who came here like to arrange her husband. 

"Good, madam!" sahut Mukid and Sinta also smiled to see her husband so obedient now. 

Sinta and Ratna now walked into the courtyard of the house. Sinta watched Ratna and on her face like there was a sense of worry or maybe there was a fear of entering into the Candra house. 

"It's still quiet, yeah! May Candra and her first wife not be home" Sinta murmured. 

"Like they're still sleeping" said Ratna. 

"What?? What time is it, baby? Cook still sleeping anyway?" said Sinta. 

"Because of fatigue due to night activities with sports in bed" said Ratna. 

"Oh, is that so? Is Candra that violent?" ask Sinta. 

"Almost every day! Grateful there was Salma's brother who could replace me playing odong-odong with Candra mas," Ratna said. Sinta chuckled at her hearing. 

The door was turned and the door was locked from the inside. 

"In the lock, Sinta! You go home and let me wait here until they wake up" Ratna said. 

"Huh? You okay if I stay home? But actually I want to see the face of Candra's first wife" said Sinta. 

"When I tell you about it, I'll send her picture to you! I keep it in the gallery. You better just go home. Poor Mukid is waiting" Ratna said. 

"All right then! I'm coming home Ratna! You are fine dad! If there's something about me. Okay?" Say Sinta while splashing with Ratna. 

Sinta waved her hand leaving the house. Now left Ratna sitting waiting on the terrace. Ratna did not dare to push the bell into the house. Ratna is afraid to wake her husband and Salma. Half an hour later, Ratna fell asleep on the porch.

Salma opened the main door of the house. And saw Ratna already in front of the porch of the house. 

"Salma's mother!" muttered Ratna finally stood up and woke up. 

"Why are you sleeping here, brother? Don't push the bell in either" Salma protested. 

"Fear of disturbing Salma and Candra mas who are still sleeping" said Ratna. 

"Yes, let's go in. Let's make you some hot sweet tea" Salma said. 

From within the voice of Candra's cry echoed. 

"Who, honey?" shouts Candra from inside the room. 

"Dik Ratna, my mom!" sahut Salma's. Candra who heard the answer from Salma immediately came out of her room. 

"You remember the way home, baby?" satirize Candra with sharp eyes. 

"Eh, um sorry! Yesterday I was in my own home. So I just went out and played with Sinta" Ratna said. 

"Reason! Come inside!" candra said then pulled Ratna's arm violently Candra forgot that Ratna was pregnant with her child.

"It hurts me!" lamented Ratna. Candra released her hand. 

"Why are you being a wife so hard to manage anyway? Go not say and say goodbye. Even to stay again. If anything happens, I will also bother. You spoiled woman," said Candra. 

Ratna kept quiet and lowered her head. Ratna did not dare to stare towards Candra's face. 

"Now I will punish you! Now get in the bathroom!" candra's orders.

Outside the room, Candra heads to the dining room, where there is Salma. 

"Loh, mom! Where's dik Ratna? Why not have breakfast with us?" ask Salma.
