After arriving at his residence, Xio Lin helped the servant earlier sit on the chair.

"Take the medicine." he ordered.

One of the waiters picked up a bottle of medicine in a box, where the drugs were in case of an emergency.

Since Xio Lin was pregnant for the first time, Emperor Yun was so sensitive that he had the court physician concoct gynecologist and wound medicine into Xio Lin's residence.

After the servant found the medicine Xio Lin had ordered. He gave it to Xio Lin and Xio Lin took it.

"Your Majesty, let the servant treat him." said the servant who brought the medicine.

"No need.."

"Right Your Majesty, I do not deserve to be treated this way. Servant is just a servant." said the servant stood up and bowed respectfully before Xio Lin.

"There's no problem about your job, you're human and breathing. Every human being has the same dignity. The only thing that differentiates him is work."

"Sit down, I'll smear the wound."

"But Your Majesty.."

"Did you dare refuse an empress' order ?" ask Xio Lin flatly.

"No Your Majesty, I dare not."

"Good, sit down quickly.."

And the waiter sat down on the previous chair with his back to Xio Lin and opened his hanfun..

Xio Lin poured the medicinal liquid and smeared the wound. His heart felt pity to see the many bloody lashes.

"Although Your Majesty, this is our fault" said one of the servants and the other servant prostrated beside Emperor Yun.

"The servant deserves His Majesty's law.."

"Your Majesty, it's not their fault. It was the servant who did it himself." timbal Xio Lin, he was afraid that Emperor Yun would give his servants punishment.

"Come out," said Emperor Yun flatly.

The servants looked down and left.

Without a second thought Emperor Yun hugged the tiny body so tightly.

"Lin'er, thank you for being my queen."

"And thank you for loving me."

Emperor Yun released his embrace. "Tonight I want you to sleep in my residence." Emperor Yun touched Xio Lin's nose.

"Yes, Yun'er.." Xio Lin smiled.

"Your Majesty, don't you want to ask why the maid was injured?"

Emperor Yun wrinkled his forehead, for him a servant wound was not important to discuss.

"Hem, I already know. Surely His Majesty doesn't want to know because it's just a servant. Does Your Majesty know that the servant was whipped by His Majesty's Concubine just broke a gum?"

"What ?" Emperor Yun was startled and stared at Xio Lin's entire body.

"Did Consort Mei do something inappropriate to you?" asked the worried-looking Emperor Yun.
