Old Girl Looking for Love

Old Girl Looking for Love
Selahah Part Two

The friendly session of suitor, laughter and eating as much as has passed. Now is the time for Mak Odah to say something that seems important. Seen from his style that suddenly sits upright and corrects the location of the veil that looks slightly tilted. While Abah Jaka tidied the collar of his batik shirt.

Mak Odah began his speech with a sexy deheman. After which, he drank the tea and devoured two seeds of the longan. All eyes were on him, waiting for what words would come out of his mouth.

"Good day, Mr and Mrs Eder. Good afternoon to my neighbors, my loved ones. For my son whom I love too. Yes, yes, the child's own yes period is not loved," said Mak Odah while chuckling to himself, while others are still silent to observe it. The only one who responded to Mak Odah's ridiculous attitude was just a cricket. Crfc .. krrrik ....

"In this sunny afternoon, let me say that Abah Jaka will give a welcome speech. A lively applause," Mak Odah raised both his hands and clapped. Some people took a deep breath, then clapped their hands lazily.

The middle-aged man stood up, then patted his batik shirt. He then put on his glasses and took out a piece of paper from the batik pocket he was wearing. For a moment Abah Jaka was stunned when he saw the writing on the piece of paper. The man repeatedly scrunched his forehead.

"Good afteron, Mr. and Mrs. Eder. I am Maryam's father and this is her mother" she said proudly. The look on his face looked very serious, or perhaps more precisely he looked tense.

"I welcome you to our humble village" he continued. "It's hot, but not as hot as a heart wounded by love." Abah Jaka again continued his words of welcome.

Rosmawati coughed and felt her heart as though she was stuck. He glanced at Maryam. Rosmawati knew, surely he was the one who had made the speech script read by Abah Jaka at that time, because the strands of the word abah Jaka seemed to insinuate him, making Rosmawati restless in her sitting.

"So, without further ado, I, as the guardian of Maryam, welcome our British candidate" he concluded, cupping both hands in front of his chest. He also folded the paper and put it back in his pocket.

"Eh, wait! There is less!" mak Odah Exclamation. She immediately stood up and shifted her husband's place. Abah Jaka himself did not want to give up. He remained unmoved so that Mak Odah was forced to push him until he almost fell down.

"A little extra from me, yeah. Ti saprak Maryam ngawartosan yen kabogohna tos intents bade ngajak nwikah, diideu simkuring atos preparation sagala rupina," explained Mak Odah.

(Since Maryam told me that her boyfriend intends to marry her, I have contacted penghulu and take care of all kinds of letters.)

"So, I have intended, if my son neng gets here with his girlfriend, I want to marry him directly. All right, stay here. Than back and forth, right? Otong often nyosorin the neng. Mak is afraid of Otong Blong's brakes. Wouldn't you be horrified?" he continued, laughing and covering his mouth with his palm. Shamefully, Maryam was tasked with deciphering each of her mother's sentences to Jamie Scott's family.

Mrs. Harlekin was stunned at first. However, in the end the husband and wife agreed to the unique idea of Mak Odah. Maryam also told her mother and brother that Jamie Scott's parents had agreed.

"Alhamdulillah," abah Jaka seemed so happy that he bowed down in thanksgiving before the guests. After that, he stood up and excitedly called the ruler whom he had invited since morning.

"What is this really, Mun? You're directly married?" Rosmawati still does not believe in this strange incident.

"It's forbidden to waste time, Jem! All of you, resting on gathering all," Maryam looked timid. "I was lucky to have danced this. I was feeling like, hihi," he said with a happy smile.

"You're happy, I'm happy too, Mun," said Rosmawati full day.

"Maryam, Jeco, come on!" call the brother who turned out to have prepared a small table decorated in such a way that it looks beautiful and sweet. White flower decoration strung on the edges, plus a silk tablecloth with matching colors.

"Kok Jeco, anyway?" rosmawati protest.

"Regular, dear call" whispered Maryam.

A middle-aged hiker was ready to sit at the table. His face looks cheerful. Many times the man threw a smile, as if he was the one getting married.

"Hold me, Jem!" Maryam just threw her phone in Rosmawati's lap, then pulled Jamie Scott to sit face to face with the ruler.

"Please, hold my phone, too!" Jamie Scott also put his phone in Rosmawati's lap.

Abah Jaka and two witnesses were also ready to sit around the table. While Mak Odah is seen sitting next to Mrs. Harlekin rubbed his snot and tears.

Before committing to the agreement, the penghulu first gives marriage advice. Everyone seemed to be seriously listening, not least Kang Dayat who looked so enthusiastic. Perhaps he had the intention to add to his world paradise.

'Mrs. Hayder calling's'

Rosmawati looked so panicked. He turned to Maryam who was fervently listening to the advice of the pak penghulu. Similarly Jamie Scott, even though the handsome guy has absolutely no idea what is being talked about.

"God! Shhh!" Rosmawati began hissing, hoping that one of the two lovebirds would turn to her. But it failed.

"Hoey! Muns! Jeco!" call Rosmawati in a stifled voice. He also called Jamie Scott like the call given by Jaka's brother.

The magic couple still did not look at Rosmawati.

"Well!" rosmawati shouted loudly. He did that to get Jamie Scott and Maryam to look at him.

With all eyes glaring, Jamie Scott is no exception. A golden opportunity for Rosmawati. He held up Jamie Scott's phone and pointed at his screen. "Can I pick up the phone?" ask Rosmawati.

Luckily, Jamie Scott allowed it though a bit of a hunchback. But Rosmawati did not care. Immediately he pressed the green button and greeted Mehmet in as loud a voice as possible.

"Hello, Memet. How are you doing? I'm Rose. Jamie is busy. He again carries out the same marriage contract procession of Maryam," Rosmawati cerocos with a thumping chest.

There was no answer from Mehmet for a while, making Rosmawati want to cry. But he does not want to despair.

"Make me second, Met. I will, even if your first wife is not willing. I promise I'll be a good second wife" she wrote again.

"Why do you have to be second if you can be first?" answer Mehmet later.

Rosmawati's heart stopped beating. "What's so, Met?" he shouted while standing. Unknowingly his voice blared as Jamie Scott prepared to do the ijab and was shaking hands with Jaka's brother.

Again all eyes glared back at him. Rosmawati grimaced and sat back down. Whispering, he asked Mehmet. "Is your first wife really okay if you divorce for me?"

"No problem, Rose. There is no first wife because I have no wife" Mehmet replied.

Rosmawati instantly slumped. "But .. but Ahmad said ..."

"Later I tell you everything. Now tell me where are you? I want to meet you," Mehmet cut.

Rosmawati's tongue suddenly shriveled. For a moment he thought and digested back every sentence Mehmet had spoken.

"Rose?" call Mehmet back.

"Huh-yes? I'm right here!" answer Rosmawati.

"Where is that?" ask Mehmet again with patience.

"In a moment, I'm sending you the location, yeah. Uh, but where are you?" Rosmawati asked back.

"I'm in Mojokerto, in front of your old home address" Mehmet replied straightforwardly.

"What!" rosmawati exclaimed, just as the witnesses and everyone present finished saying the word 'sah'.

Soon Maryam's shoes will drift to her conjoined twin friend's eel.
