One Long Night With Mysterious Boys

One Long Night With Mysterious Boys
34. Never Lied

Only Areka and Elena are mermaids in the human world. Then where did Areka make his identity, family, and status as a human being?

"So your parents are human? Then all this time they knew you were a mermaid?!" Alicia asked, they left in her car.

"Truely, Areka's a collector's boy."

"I'm a foster child hey! Your selection says so ugly."

Elena laughed, actually the story of the meeting between Areka and her foster parents was quite heartwarming. During a territorial war, Elena who was the princess of the kingdom wanted to escape with her powers, she was still a child because it could not control her abilities well. Areka who tried to prevent it was thrown into the portal.

"You pushed me." Areka cutting.

"But after that I cried a week knowing."

"Only a week?! I almost starved to death and you only cried for a week?!"

"I was not on purpose, you were also wrong for blocking me in front of the portal."

"My fault?! If I don't get in, you could die in the human world. You should be thanking me, spoiled princess!"

Elena was shaking her lips. Alicia laughed at the quarrel between Elena and Areka, the two of them were very close. I can joke about the bad things that have happened in the past. Although Elena almost harmed him, Areka did not have the slightest hatred for the girl.

"When Areka was drifting in the river, her foster mother's father had just lost their son who just happened to be of the same age as her. Then Areka was raised as a child in place of her dead child." continued Elena.

Alicia blinked, is it that simple? Areka nodded, it turned out to be that simple.

"They're rich, his son has not been highlighted in the media, his death is also kept secret. So my presence really replaced their son."

"Then your name?" Alicia asked back.

"Yeah.it can be arranged. I don't want to change my name because I'm afraid Elena can't find me."

"And in the end I managed to open the portal again and saved the fish. Eh he was angry and did not want to go back home." Cynic Elena.

"Then you even died pierced by a sword because of a wrong talk in front of a lion demon. Until now I had no idea what your presumptuous mouth was saying until the king of the forest was angry."

"Then again I trouble you, making you have to travel the world in search of magical water. Good thing your parents are rich." added Elena did not feel guilty at all.

"Yes princess, I'm glad that you realize how troublesome you are." this time Areka who instead exclaims cynically.

Alicia just smiled, between joy and envy. He also wanted to have this close relationship with others.

"Is it far away?" ask Alicia.

Areka nodded, actually Elena had suggested to use the portal but Areka said it was better to save energy. They had to fight again after this.

"You want to sleep Alicia? Better tell Ken what we just did. Then ask if he has found a way to exit the portal. There's gonna be a big war soon."

Right, if Ken could join forces, he would be an incredible reinforcements.

Alicia slowly closed her eyes, she was tired, it was easy to leave for dreamland now. To meet someone who is waiting for him.

...****************...

"Ken..." Alicia called out, she did not find the demon. Though usually Ken will be directly in front of him. This time the man was not here.

The scenery in Alicia's dream is a pine tree forest with a size almost 10 times the normal size in the real world. There's no one here.

Alicia continued to walk on her feet that did not know where. Until he heard something, the girl immediately hid behind a tree.

Then condemned his stupidity, he did not see why he had to hide.

In front of Alicia was a girl with braided hair who was trying to lift a giant fallen Pine tree. The tree overlaps a person's body until only his legs are visible.

Whoever was under that tree must have died. What does the girl want to do?

"Hold on!"

"Please don't die... Please..."

Just as Alicia was about to approach suddenly someone restrained her shoulders. It's Ken! He looked messy with breath, like he had just run from a faraway place.

"Ken!" Alicia hugged him. Ken returned his embrace.

"Eh... You smell blood. Ken, who did you just kill?" Alicia asked, there was no fear of the girl anymore.

"Not killing anyone, this is my blood. You smell Alicia's blood too, are you hurt?" Ken asked worriedly, directly scrutinizing the girl, groping almost all over Alicia's body.

"I killed it." Alicia answered casually. Making Ken fixated, staring into the girl's shock.

Alicia kill? That girl just confessed to killing someone?!

Ken took two steps back, keeping his distance. How could a human girl with a glass-absorbed heart that was exposed to the slightest vibration could break that dared to take the lives of others?!

"Wait, let me think." Ken sat squatting on the ground. Holding her head, the sentence Alicia just uttered without any burden was a sentence she never expected.

Alicia laughed, embracing Ken's back.

"I did it, I killed the fox demon, fought alongside Elena and Areka" Alicia said near her demonic ears.

Ken was speechless, Alicia's voice rattled.

"So Ken... You don't have to try that hard for me anymore. I will not be your burden. I will soon be able to fight beside you." Alicia's words choked.

Despite not wanting to show it, the girl could not help but tremor in her own fear that was beginning to change. Why would killing be such fun? There was absolutely no burden in his heart when he saw blood pouring from the heart of the fox demon.

"Those who forced you to come?" Ken asked quietly, turning around, cupping Alicia's reddened face holding back her tears.

The girl shook her head. All his own desires.

"Ken, I'm scared..."

Ken's eyes widened, looking at the look full of regret his girl. Ken's hand grabbed Alicia's body.

"Alicia, if you don't like it you don't have to."

"It's not a question of dislike Ken. I don't want to just be silent like a statue. I want to help even if my help is not much."

"Allen..." Ken's voice was soft, making the girl's cry break. Right, he actually didn't want to do it. He didn't want to kill or anything. Why is the world so confused?! Why did he have to get involved with those strange demon beasts, and from the very beginning why did they exist?!

"I'm sorry... Excuse me... I'm sorry..." Ken. The bad feeling Alicia felt was conveyed, about how frustrated the girl was thinking about this oddity. He had just killed the fox demon in the form of his father, killing the servants whose faces he knew well.

"What... Is all this gonna be over soon, Ken? I want my world back to how it was."

"Of course Alicia, of course. I promise."

Alicia nodded. He believed in Ken more than anything.

And Ken is the devil who keeps his promise. Every sentence he spoke was the pride of a true demon. He will never break even that small.

"I'll be out again soon. But this time it's more complicated. Looks like we can't meet for a few days." Ken explained.

"Complicated? You don't plan on forcing yourself and putting yourself in danger again, do you, Ken?!"

Ken just smiled. He would never lie to Alicia. Self-harming? Of course, he had to enter the most dangerous place that even the gods alone did not dare to enter.

There are only two possibilities. Successfully but dying or dying and unable to meet with Alicia again.

"I have to get out anyway. So just trust me, Alicia." The devil smiled gently.

A smile that somehow lingered on his face after he planned to go into the most terrible hell.

For the sake of a most feared sword, which he once used as the deadliest weapon.
