The Extra Part 9. Pregnant
Feng reached the hospital, the nurses helped him bring Astrid in for a check-up. The nurses helped resuscitate Astrid.
The doctor came in and checked Astrid's condition.
"We'd better get him to poly obgyn" the doctor ordered.
"Why?" anxious Feng, he thought that Astrid's condition was deteriorating so it had to be moved.
"Are you his guardian?" ask doctor.
"Yes,"
"This is just my prediction, the possibility of this lady getting pregnant, so for more sure I will leave it to the obstetrician," explained the Doctor who handles Astrid.
"What's? Pregnant?" Feng smiled, he was sure it must be his son.
The nurses pushed Astrid's cage towards the poly obgyn. Feng followed the doctor and nurse. Arrived in the room of one of the obstetricians. The doctor who handled Astrid gave a brief explanation to his colleague's doctor.
"I'm sorry, sir. My colleague's gonna take over now." the doctor and his nurse left the room.
The gynecologist nurse prepared the equipment and undressed Astrid.
"Sorry, are you a patient's family?" ask the friendly doctor.
"Yes," replied Feng briefly.
The doctor then checks for Astrid's condition. After the Doctor finished checking, the nurse tried to make Astrid aware.
"Miss, she's 4 weeks pregnant." The doctor told Feng.
Feng was happy to hear that.
"Is he okay?"
"Please sit down I will explain to you. Judging from your reaction, I'm sure you're her husband." The doctor invited Feng to sit in front of him.
The doctor gave Feng an explanation in as much detail as he could. Even doctors also provide the necessary advice for pregnant women.
"This is the recipe, please make it. The patient will be transferred to the inpatient room, at least let him stay overnight" explained the doctor.
They took Astrid to the treatment room. Feng remained faithful to accompany her until Astrid came to her senses.
Assistant Rain came to Astrid's inpatient room.
"I brought you lunch, Young Master." Mr. Rain opened the food and arranged it on the table.
"I'm not hungry" said Feng. He was still faithfully waiting for Astrid to wake up.
"Making yourself hungry will not solve the problem. Sir," said Mr. Rains.
"Alright, I'll eat it," Feng broke up.
Feng ate, the food Rain brought.
"Sir, how was the meeting this afternoon with the marketing team?" ask Rain.
"You're the one who took the lead and reported to me the results" Feng said.
"Well, oh yes sir, I almost forgot, this is your phone. Looks like there's been a call coming in from this morning with my Astrid's name." Rain handed the phone to Feng
"What?" Feng immediately grabbed the phone and checked it.
"I'm sorry, sir," said Rain, the man leaving Astrid's nursery.
Rain is at odds with the Nurse who comes to check on Astrid's infusion. Feng focused on seeing the call from Astrid. There are 3 calls. Feng checked, did Astrid leave a message for him?
"You're conscious, Miss?" ask the nurse who is changing Astrid's infusion.
"Where am I?" Astrid tried to notice the roof of the hospital room.
"You're in the hospital, Miss. What do you feel? Do you need anything?" bargainer.
"No, I'm fine" Astrid replied.
Astrid tried to sit down.
"Perfectly. You just sleep. Don't force yourself. Remember your guts," persuade the nurse.
"What. I'm pregnant?" Astrid wanted to make sure that she didn't hear wrong.
"Yes" the nurse replied.
Feng who was focused on looking at the phone, finally heard Astrid's voice. Feng went straight to Astrid's place and hugged her.
"Finally you realize, I'm very anxious" Feng said.
