The Walker family

Morning began to greet a girl who was still loyal behind her thick blanket. Last night after work he made a video call with his beloved girlfriend. Morgan plans to visit her this week leaving Louisa impatient to wait for her arrival.

The ringing sound of a cell phone woke him from the beautiful dream he had just been through. He saw that the clock was showing at eight in the morning. Louisa was aghast, she was late this morning she had a meeting with a client. Louisa rushed into the bathroom to clean herself up.

Ever since Arumi had a child she gave up all business to Louisa. After finishing with her bathing ritual, Louisa rushed towards the walk in closet. He must not be late, his clients are the biggest investors of their company.

Louisa came out of her apartment, she looked neat while chewing on the bread she took before leaving for work. All the files for the presentation he had brought no one left behind.

At the Walker family residence, a dull morning arrives. As usual beloved mother Mrs Walker, since sunrise she has continuously advised Roy to get married quickly. He continued to discuss about the successor to the Walker family who had no hope because Roy is still single.

"Are you waiting for Mommy to die Roy, and you're getting married?" ask Mrs Walker overdramatizing.

Roy let out a long sigh, he put down the knife and fork that he had been using since slicing the steak. He looked at his mother's current face since sulking.

"So what should I do Mom?" ask Roy.

"If you don't have a candidate how about Lauren alone, you can approach first" proposed Mrs Walker with sparkling beads.

Roy looked at his father who had been silent since not helping him, Mr. Walker only nodded his head when he looked at Roy. Roy would not agree to Mrs Walker's request.

"All right! Mommy just set it all up," said Roy resigned and then rose from his seat. He tidied up his suit and said goodbye to his parents.

"Tonight Mommy's planning dinner for the two of you, you should be there, son!" madam Walker shouted as she walked near the door.

Roy replied with a nod of his head, he was not forced to do all that. Roy is tired of the drama that his mother always makes. Maybe if he followed his wish, Mrs Walker wouldn't ask for this or that again.

Roy walks into his vehicle, before long Roy's car drives away from the mansion grounds. Roy sits in the back seat checking the report that his secretary Dereck sent him through his tablet.

Since quitting the mafia world Roy became someone who is crazy about work. That's what made Mrs Walker so worried about her son. His current son has no direction of purpose, all he does is work and work.

He wants Roy to get married and have a family, so Roy can feel the color of life with love. Maybe at first he will not love the woman of his mother's choice, but over time love will present itself.

Mrs Walker was so enthusiastic to tell Lauren about her plan to bring Lauren closer to her son Roy. Lauren who has been eyeing Roy for a long time is of course happy to hear it. He is after the wealth of the Walker family, especially Roy who is handsome and also dashing. Although the man is difficult to approach but Lauren is not desperate, she tries to approach Roy through her mother.

And it turns out the plan was successful, Mrs Walker managed to convince Roy to be paired with her.

"Why are you smiling like Lauren?" ask Marcela her best friend. He felt strange when he saw Lauren suddenly smiling after getting a phone call.

"Mistress Walker called me, she ordered me to get ready. Tonight Roy and I will have dinner together" Lauren replied enthusiastically.

"really?" marcela asked as if she could not believe what she had heard.

"But not with Roy, the man was hard to conquer," Marcela's taunts chuckled as Lauren glared at him.

"No one can resist Lauren's charm, you know that?" sarkas Lauren's upset.

Marcela just smiled cynically at her best friend who just left her. The woman is still arrogant, she will do anything to achieve her wishes.

Louisa had just arrived at her company, she was very surprised when she reached the meeting room. He saw a handsome man who was currently looking at him with a sharp gaze. He glanced at the watch he was wearing, Louisa was like no stranger to this man's face but where he had met her.

"You're one minute and twenty-two seconds late, miss," he said with a cold look.

Louisa could not believe hearing the man's words, the man so detailed the time of Louisa's delay. Louisa tried to keep smiling because it was her fault.

"I'm sorry, sir, I won't repeat it" Louisa said.

The man simply fell silent and coded his assistant so that Louisa would quickly present the proposal she had made. As if knowing the code given Louisa rushed to find the file she stored in her map.

But he did not find the file that he had prepared, oh my God how could he be this careless. The man smiled mockingly at seeing Louisa again making a mistake.

"Ck, you're making a mistake again, miss. How are we going to cooperate if you're not this professional" the man said firmly.

"I'm sorry, sir, this is all out of plan. I promise to fix all this quickly" Louisa pleaded with the man who had just risen from her seat not to cancel the cooperation with their company.

"Do I have to wait for you to justify all the mess you've made, miss? My time is precious, I don't have much time to wait for you" the man's circus was cruel.

The man gave the code to his assistant, then he just left Louisa and her assistant.

"Sorry miss, our master canceled the cooperation with this company" said the assistant firmly and then went to follow his boss.

Louisa sat down, shaking her hair in frustration. He did not believe all the files he had prepared forgot he had brought them. Before he left, he made sure of everything first.

Now he is confused what to say to his best friend Arumi. The man was their biggest investor and now just let go because of Louisa's carelessness.

I swear by what it was like for Louisa to go as far away as possible before she heard the chatter coming out of her best friend's sweet mouth.
