"My brother prefers to be alone and focus on one thing. There have been various ways I have persuaded my sister not to block or change her number to avoid Valerie" Carl said. Carl looked at Amber more seriously. "You know? She even said that if Valerie and I were like minions, she was ashamed to take me and Valerie away while Valerie was still here. Either way I'm gonna help Valerie get along with my sister" Carl continued.
Both of Amber's eyebrows were raised in confusion. "Why should you help them get along?" amber asked, even though she felt awkward with the woman Carl liked, she seemed to put something on Ken.
Carl suddenly smiled with a happy face. "Since Valerie is going to be her sister-in-law, they should be familiar and not fight each other like this." Hearing that Amber could only shake her head.

For almost 2 hours, Amber closed the laptop with relief. "Then I think it's enough" said Amber, taking some books and putting them back in the bag.
"All right, I'll drive you." Carl also took care of his books and laptop.
Amber shook her head, "No need, Gebby will pick me up."
"Where is your home?" ask Carl.
"I live in a Luxury Apartment" Amber replied later.
"Hollywood?" ask Carl excitedly. Amber nodded her head. "Then let me drive you, I happen to have an appointment with my friend in the area. Wait a minute, I'll keep the bag first." Carl quickly brings the bag of books and laptops into the house, leaving Amber alone in the gazebo.
Amber, who could not resist anymore, finally closed the bag and waited for Carl to return, her eyes now fixed on the pool so wide, the fresh feeling he would get if he touched the water. Amber turned her head as she watched from the edge of her eyes Ken was walking in neat clothes and disappeared as he turned towards the other room.
Amber's face immediately reddened, he realized that if Ken left there would most likely only be Amber and Carl both in this mansion.
Amber quickly shook her head, what was she thinking! Before long Carl was seen coming out from inside and walking up to him, Carl had changed his clothes quite neatly. "Let's go straight away" said Amber, standing up and walking first to the exit of the house, leaving Carl quite confused by Amber's hasty attitude.
Carl smiled crisply, he scratched his non-itchy bend. "If I'm to be honest I'm actually going to visit her grandfather Valerie's house, she really likes this scent."
Amber took a deep breath, Carl seemed so obsessed with the woman, in the end Amber chose to shut up and put on a seat belt. "Oh yeah, why did you live in the apartment from college? Trying to be independent?"
"No, my family is in Brazil, I'm just studying here" Amber replied. Carl nodded his head slowly, started running the car and had another light conversation. Without feeling, they have reached the basement of Amber's apartment. "Thank you" said Amber with a smile and released the seat belt.
Carl smiled and nodded, Amber frowned as Carl suddenly gave her a chocolate bar. "What's this?" ask Amber confused.
"Take this as a bribe so you don't tell Jack I'm going to Valerie's grandpa's house."
Amber raised next to her eyebrows. "And why did I tell Jack about it?" ask Amber a little chuckle.
"Who knows you didn't accidentally tell Jack that I was driving you because I was going to Valerie's grandfather's house." Carl laughed crisply. "You know, Jack is so fed up with my relationship with Valerie, I don't want to hear her sayings about Valerie anymore."
"Well I take this chocolate, then I go down. I'm sorry I didn't offer you to go inside. Gebby's not around" he added.
"You're really scared of me?" ask Carl. Amber quickly shook her head. "When at the cafe you hesitate—"
"No, it's just me and Gebby have made it a rule to never bring a man inside."
"Alright, then I go straight away, see you tomorrow," Carl said goodbye.
Amber nodded excitedly, getting out of the car and waiting for Carl's car to leave the basement area.
