What Do They Read?

"Let my path winding, but the map is clear to me, let it climb a little, I'll slowly go through."

Lea had already arrived in front of her room door, Rendy was walking in a hurry to catch up with Lea who was already in front of her room door.

"Lea wait."

"What else?" Lea spoke curtly to Rendy, while her hand was already holding the doorknob of her room.

"I want to talk." Rendy was already behind Lea.

"Don't you speak until my ears are hot to hear your babbling." Lea who spoke without turning her head towards Rendy.

"You don't go home all night if you're hanging out."

"Ah come home the wrong night then I better not go home all together." Lea opened the door to her room and then she walked into her room Lea closed the door.

"God, what's the son of a dragon? how pms?" Rendy was surprised when the door to the room closed Lea with a slam so that it made a big sound. Rendy stroked the chest that felt surprised

Rendy's day is at the cafe with her friends.

Rendy was riding his bike at a moderate speed. Rendy decides to ride her motorcycle while touring town B. Rendy is reluctant to go home because there is only a aunt and security guard at home. Then he wants to go around riding his motor sport.

Rendy who was tired of riding her motorcycle decided to stop at a mosque. Rendy thinks of his motorbike in the courtyard of the mosque. Rendy listened to someone reading something so that Rendy was more curious and finally Rendy walked towards the mosque.

Rendy who was standing on the terrace of the mosque saw from the window of the mosque. Rendy noticed some children were sitting while reading something. Rendy's heart felt touched when she heard some of the children reading something.

What are they reading?

Why is my heart touched by what they read?

I don't understand the meaning they read.

I want to know what they read

Whatever they read sounded foreign to me but I wanted to find out more

I should wait for the children to finish reading and I will ask the children about what they read earlier

Moments later one by one the children came forward while reading something in his hands. The boy opened something in his hand and read in front of the Ustadz man. All the children have finished reading one by one in front of ustad.

Mr. Ustadz told the children to go home. The children say goodbye by swearing the back of Mr. Ustadz's hand alternately. After that the children walked away from the mosque.

"The gate told ustadz to go inside don't stand there." A child who had just come out of the mosque walked towards Rendy. The boy immediately approached Rendy. When the child is near Rendy, the child sends a message to Rendy.

"Well, thank you." After hearing the speech of the child, Rendy walked into the mosque was uprooted.

"Good day sir." Rendy who was in front of ustadz.

"Just as well, you better sit down first. I have something to ask you." The sir told Rendy to go on the floor of the mosque.

"Well, what do you want to ask me?"Rendy was sitting on the floor of the mosque in front of the ustadz.

"I noticed that you were standing looking at the mosque, what did you see inside the mosque?" Mr. Ustadz who from earlier noticed Rendy who continued to look towards Mr. ustadz and the children.

"I saw that sir was teaching the children to read something. Can I ask you a question, sir?" Rendy who was so curious about what the children read asked.

"Please ask what?"

"What do they read?"

"The Quran."

"What is the Quran?"

"The Quran is a holy book revealed by Allah SWT to the Prophet Muhammad as a mercy and guidance for people who believe and fear in life and life.

This is according to the word of God in Surat Al A'raf verse 52:

وَلَقَدْ جِئْنٰهُمْ بِكِتٰبٍ فَصَّلْنٰهُ عَلٰى عِلْمٍ هُدًى وَّرَحْمَةً لِّقَوْمٍ يُّؤْمِنُوْنَ - ٥٢

"Really, We have brought them the Book (Qur'an), which We have explained on the basis of knowledge, as a guide and a mercy for those who believe."

"That means that the Quran and the Bible are both holy?"

"It's absolutely right."

"Do the Quran and the Bible have any similarities?"

"There, equally derived from Allah SWT, teaches man only to worship Allah SWT as the One God Almighty, containing advice, wisdom, praise, prohibition, and commands from Allah SWT for His servant,contains the rewards that must be received by man if it violates the commandments of Allah SWT, becomes a guide and guide for man while living the life of the world." Mr. ustadz explained to Rendy.

"But why is the language of the Bible different from the Quran?"

"The Bible was originally written in Syriac, also known as Aramean. The Gospel revealed on Prophet Isa AS contains instructions and illumination.When the Quran was written and revealed by Allah SWT in Arabic.
