Eps 37 | Honesty Pineapple and Adelia

The House of Papa Prabu.

The tranquility of the atmosphere on the porch of Mama Reni and Papa Prabu's house must be disturbed by the sudden arrival of a courier.

"Who are you from, Mom?" mama Reni asked to receive the envelope that the courier was carrying.

"Wow, I don't know much about Mom, but it's already paid, so I just have to hand it over to the concerned person" replied the courier wearing his helmet. "I'm sorry, ma'am."

Mama Reni nodded, The courier passed away shortly after Mama Reni walked towards Papa Prabu. "Pa, there's an envelope like a file, try Papa open."

"Where, Ma, let Papa check," Papa Prabu received the envelope.

When Papa Prabu opened the sealed envelope, his face turned pale with anxiety.

Mama Reni who was sitting next to her felt the uneasiness of her husband. "What's going on, Pa? How come Papa looks like that?"

Papa Prabu showed Mama Reni the message inside the envelope, and their eyes both radiated with fear as they read the message together.

"Papa Prabu and Mama Reni" the message read, "I have something very valuable for you. Your two children, Anthony and Drew, are currently our captives. If you want to save them, come yourself to the location we have determined. Do not contact the police or authorities. Their lives are in danger."

Mama Reni covered her mouth trembling, and the eyes of the two of them met in panic. They know they have no choice but to follow Dave's instructions if they want to see their children safely.

"Nanas and Adelia, it seems like they both know something Ma," Papa Prabu folded the envelope and stood up. "From their attitude yesterday, they seem to have known about this."

"Then, what about Drew and Anthony, Pa, how are they going?"

Papa Prabu held Mama Reni's hand tightly. "We have to do it, Ma. We have to save Anthony and Drew."

"But we have to wait for Pineapple and Adelia to come home, let Papa call them."

Mama Reni took her phone, but she had not had time to call, the motorbike owned by Nanas in Adelia driving while Pineapple in the boncano had entered the yard.

Pineapple and Adelia return home exhausted and tense after trying to find out more about the disappearance of Anthony and Drew. They were suddenly confronted by Mama Reni and Papa Prabu sitting on the terrace, their faces full of worry.

And Adelia and Pineapple already knew what was happening.

Mama Reni stepped closer to them with anxious eyes. "Nanas, Adelia, there's something we need to talk about. Do you guys know about what's going on with Anthony and Drew?"

Nanas and Adelia look at each other, hesitating to tell Mama Reni and Papa Prabu about their secret investigation. "N-Isn't there another client?" pineapple answered quickly, trying to hide the truth.

Papa Prabu drew closer, his sharp gaze piercing into the hearts of Pineapple and Adelia. "We feel like something's not right, kids. Please, don't hide anything from us, you know?"

Mama Reni added in a hopeful voice, "We already know what's going on with your husbands "

Pineapple and Adelia are distressed by their parents' concerns, and finally, they decide to tell the truth. They explained that they are conducting their own investigation to find out what happened to Anthony and Drew, as they feel that the authorities have not been effective enough.

Mama Reni and Papa Prabu, though anxious, are finally relieved that Nanas and Adelia are trying their best to help find their missing husband.

"Why didn't you say, from the beginning?" papa Prabu.

"Sorry Pa, we're playing games to make Papa worry."

"Well, we better get to the location this guy asked for, than there Anthony and Drew why-why," Papa Prabu grabbed the car keys and left with Mama Reni, who was there, Adelia and Pineapple.
