Passion of Motorcycle Gang Leader
Darren's Revenge

A few years ago, at Darren's house.

"You know how hard my life has been with you. I'm just trying to find a little happiness out there, and that's never what you give me!"

"But what's the point of looking for happiness elsewhere? Am I not enough for you? You love me, ma!"

Again and again, Darren heard the quarrel between his mother and his father. The relationship between the two of them is not okay, since his mother was caught cheating.

"No. It turns out that love alone is not enough, you can't give me what I need for my happiness."

"What do you need besides our family? You make me feel useless and meaningless. Though the money is plentiful I give you without me knowing and I ask, where is the money you spend."

"I try to improve myself and meet my needs, but you always get in my way."

"Maybe it's because you're always looking out for someone other than our family. You always let your responsibilities as a mother and wife be forgotten. You're busy alone out there with another guy!"

Darren began to cover both of his ears, with his two hands. He did not want to hear the words of both, as well as the insults and accusations that were not necessarily wrong and true.

But that's how they are if they are fighting. They blame each other without correcting their own mistakes.

"I don't want my life to be limited to work and family. I want to feel freedom and joy too, and you never care about my desires!"

"But your freedom and joy have left our families devastated. Did you not think about the consequences? What about Darren?"

"Of course I think about it, but I also have to think about myself. I deserve to be happy!"

Conversations like this have often occurred between Darren's parents during fights. And Darren himself once caught his mother who was dating a white male, which Darren himself did not know who the man was.

The situation of teenage Darren, who often sees and hears arguments between his mother and father at home is difficult and confusing. Darren felt caught in the middle of the fight and felt he did not know what to do to reconcile the two.

"I'm tired of hearing their fights every day. They never thought about how I felt."

"I hate tension at home. Often I feel like I'm walking on coals for fear of missteps and triggering fights."

He felt scared and anxious, as Darren did not know when the quarrel would happen again and what would happen next.

Darren was also irritated and frustrated at not being able to do anything to stop the argument, other than just shutting the door of his room and keeping quiet without coming out of his room again.

In addition, Darren who often saw and heard quarrels between his parents felt sad and disappointed because he had to see his parents fight with each other and never get along, sitting down to find solutions to be unsustainable.

"I want to get out of this house and live somewhere else. But I'm afraid things are getting worse."

"I hate to see mom and dad fighting like this. They should be able to solve their problems without having to yell at each other and hurt each other's feelings."

This situation makes Darren prefer to be alone and not get along much. He was like a loser who did not dare to face the world.

Darren experiences excessive stress and anxiety, and has even experienced depression, with no one to care about. He tried to find a solution of his own until finally met with his gang friends, the Pandawa gang.

Darren has been insecure in his own home and has had difficulty building healthy relationships with their parents. They at home never greet each other warmly, like a whole and happy family.

"I feel lonely in this house. Everyone's like living in their own world, nobody really cares about me or my sisters."

"I don't know what else to do. I feel trapped in this situation and there's no clear way out."

"What do I have to do so that they can get back together, take care of me, love me and create a happy family relationship as it seems out there?"

The family situation is not conducive and frequent quarrels at home make Darren feel depressed and difficult to get along with his friends. This is because it is caused by several factors.

One of the most important is, Darren felt embarrassed or uncomfortable to share about family circumstances that are not conducive and often occur quarrels with friends.

He also did not have enough time or will to hang out with friends due to being too involved in complicated family situations. He prefers to be alone in the room.

Darren loses interest and motivation to socialize with friends due to feeling depressed or anxious due to unpleasant family situations. So he became picky when he had friends. In addition, Darren felt it was not allowed or forbidden by parents to hang out with friends for safety or trust reasons.

"You can't be friends with his son, his sister..."

That's how his mother arranged Darren's friendship, because there were some who often gossiped about his mother. So her mother didn't want Darren to know or hear the person's conversation.

As a result, Darren became quiet and aloof. Not engaging in social activities that are usually done by friends, such as going to parties or hangouts together. He or she is also not active in social groups or organizations at school or outside of school.

For High School, Darren has just found friends who can accept his condition and seem to have the same family background as him.

Although he did not participate in the basketball team followed by one gang, but his other friend did not protest. They accept Darren as he is, so make him comfortable and feel well received.

Darren closed his eyes, throwing away the daydream that suddenly appeared when he saw the scene that made him feel sad, angry, hate but also longing that eventually became one in him.

"It turns out he's back in Indonesia."

Darren's murmur, heard by Varro and now Varro's point of view follows Darren's. But he didn't know, who Darren really meant.

However, what made the two shocked was the presence of Alena who had just come to greet the two people who were being noticed by Darren.
