Episode :20 - Shufi Tries to Gain Aleshia's Trust

"Yes, I love your strength and integrity.  Shia you must keep my words from time to time and again. There is no one in this Holy City that I can trust but you."    Said Shufi smiling warmly he was very impressed when Aleshia did not threaten him to give him all of her money which was kept inside her safe house. If he did, he would be forced to give it his all just to keep his life. After all, you only have one life. Money can be done, but not another life.

This is also one of the reasons why Shufi would rather hire Aleshia than hire random adventurers. After all, his wealth attracts evil within man. The fact that Aleshia was not tempted by her wealth was impressive in her opinion.

"please believe me!, please!,..  Said shufi once more and smiled at Aleshia."

What Shufi liked was not him, but his strength and integrity.

"Shia what do you think?"  Said Shufi asking Aleshia with a smile on her face. He bet on the fact that he is trustworthy. He didn't know much about his strength but to be assigned as an assassin for the son of the richest merchant, he wished for him to be extremely strong.

"I'm sorry, but I refuse."   Aleshia shook her head. This plan was impossible from the beginning. He only agreed to become his maid because he desperately needed the money. Otherwise, he wouldn't have taken this job even if his pay had doubled. He still has his little sister to worry about.

"Are you worried about your sister?"  Said Shufi asking with the same smile. He's very confident now. He reads it as he reveals that he really needs money.

"YES!... I ADMIT IT, I'M VERY WORRIED ABOUT MY SISTER,..  "Speaking Aleshia out loud she bit her lips. He did not want to reveal to her that his sister was sick. He did not want to give him more cards to play.

I spoke to the receptionist of the Kliwon-212 Adventurer Guild named Miss Ngatemi she had this morning. He came here alone. Do you know what he said?"  Shufi said with a special smile and looked at Aleshia attentively,.

Shufi stood up from her chair and walked towards the shelf. He took out a bottle of red wine and took out the cork with an opener. He took out two glasses of wine and placed one in front of Aleshia. The other he put in front of him.

Shufi sat back in the middle of a large sofa shaped [U] with a small table in front of her. He had sat there before. Aleshia waited to anticipate what she would say next.

Aleshia locked it in place on the sofa. Shufi's neck hurt because of the force Aleshia put into it. Wine glasses spilled on the sofa but did not fall to the floor.

"Fuckin' b*, you know too much!"  Aleshia spoke grimly to her face. He did not dare to make a loud commotion. He was around too many people, and his dagger was not with him

"... If... If you kill me now, your little sister might not make it ... I can help your sister ..hope ..there must be."   Said Shufi slowly out of breath as she continued to talk to him. It reached the point where he would faint at his last words. His eyes swam frantically as his lungs tried to breathe but failed to do so. His lungs started to hurt.

"Speak! How much do you know about my sister?"  Aleshia's words let go of Shufi's neck,. Shufi immediately took a deep breath and felt her brain ability slowly return to normal. It's so scary to be under hypoxia for so long and you can't even control it.

"Hahhhh... I know your sister's cursed."  Said Shufi she fixed her clothes and continued to sit on the sofa. His hands were trembling because of what had just happened. He even had a double thought if this was really worth it. It became very risky for him.

"And?"  Aleshia raised an eyebrow. He stomped on the table top and his slender legs were very visible to Shufi. His eyes could not help but drift towards him. It felt like a black hole was sucking its gaze towards him.

"DAN?"  Aleshia raised her voice after seeing Shufi glancing at her feet in a very immoral manner. He even has gall to leer on his legs. This guy is really perverted.

"I can help you. I can pay the lost amount after we get back! That's the addition I'm talking about."  Said Shufi offering as she tried her best to keep her hands from shaking. He reminded himself now that he was still a murderer. He couldn't make a mistake or it would cost him his life.

aheem!?,. Did the receptionist tell you all that?"  Aleshia said sarcastically. This guy made use of all his weak points. He could not believe his words so easily.

"Y-yes. He told me that they were investigating your background, after you suspiciously cancelled my Bounty Gift Contract yesterday."   Shufi explained nervously. Aleshia who entered this room earlier was very different from the Aleshia she was facing right now. It seems like he is a different person. He had even blushed in front of her before, but now he had become extremely dominant.

"So you're gonna help me?"  Aleshia asked with a sneer on her face.

"Yes! I really want to earn your trust. That, I swear I'm so sincere! to you Shia" Shufi said in a serious manner he hurriedly confirmed it. He wants to gain the trust of people like him. A person of integrity and even willing to work hard just for the sake of his little sister. His field of work may be debatable but he is confident that once he gains his trust, it will be the best investment he will make.

"What about my sister?, I don't want to take her on this journey."  Aleshia said in a soft voice as she called out to her younger sister. He finds Shufi's offer very tempting even if he does not want to admit it.

"i swear!, that!,.. My butler here will look after him. He can eat and do whatever he wants inside the mansion."  Shufi explained to him. For someone as rich as him, having Aleshia's younger sister playing around inside the mansion was no big deal.
