Chapter 6 - Important Things

Finally the Atmajaya family was sitting in the living room with lawyers and important employees at Atmajaya Corp. Faizan was not too surprised because he had been told before.

While Aisha and Mama Ida are certainly surprised because they do not know about the arrival of the guests to the main house.

"Is there anything Mr Gilang has come here so early? Is there anything urgent about the company?" asked Mama Ida with a pretty clear tone of anxiety.

"True Madam Ida, there are some important things that we need to convey and I came here with Santi, the financial manager, and Mr. Malik, Pak Handika's secretary."

"This is related to Mr. Handika's will as well as several important company reports" said Gilang.

"Please sir," Faizan responded.

"What's this about? What else is the will of Mas Handika?" inner Aisha.

Some points of Handika's will :

Submitting the seat of the President of Atmajaya Corp to my brother, Faizan Atmajaya.

Any expenses outside the company's business that are borne by the company's funds must be approved by Faizan Atmajaya.

Eighty percent (80%) of Atmajaya Corp shares belong to Faizan Atmajaya.

Twenty percent (20%) of Atmajaya Corp shares belong to Aisha Permata Jingga, my wife.

Every month, the company will only spend fifty million rupiah with a distribution of twenty-five million rupiah each for the Mama and Aisha.

The main house still belongs to Mama according to the certificate of ownership which is the house that gave the late Papa to Mama.

"Such was the testament point Mr. Handika made one month ago to us before the accident,"

"And yesterday I also got a new mandate that is the will of Mr. Handika to marry Mr. Faizan to Mrs Aisha after the iddah period" said Gilang.

"What?" pekik Mama Ida's.

"Sir, didn't you say the wrong thing? Faizan is getting married to Aisha. When did Handika give the will and why not discuss it with me first, her mother?" asked Mama Ida with a ketus and high-pitched.

Finally Gilang offered video evidence at the hospital when Handika gave his last will. It was Faizan who sent the video and had spoken by phone earlier with the family lawyer.

Faizan had anticipated this because if he were the one who spoke directly, surely his stepmother would try to disagree or use other means to thwart.

Faizan is not a child to be fooled. If the attitude of his stepmother to him was not good enough and of course he understood because Mama Ida was the first wife of his father and his late mother was the second wife who was loved by his father.

Of course, his stepmother loved and spoiled his brother more than he did. It is still considered reasonable by Faizan because it is very rare stepmother who will give the same affection as a portion of her own biological children.

There must be a difference in affection between stepchildren and biological children. Although out there there is a stepmother who loves the same portion of all her children both stepchildren and biological children. But that didn't happen to Mama Ida.

Faizan can accept his stepmother's attitude to him but he cannot accept Mama Ida's attitude to Aisha, his soul mate. She knew that her stepmother had begun to change her attitude in the past six months to Aisha. Of course his attitude is not a good thing.

In the past, his stepmother was when his brother with Aisha dated so happy and seemed happy to have Aisha's daughter-in-law. But in the last six months before his brother died, it started to change attitude.

Is it just because Aisha hasn't given her offspring? Or is there another cause?
