Elsewhere, Alden's motorbike was cruising at high speed among the congested city streets. The owner was already impatient to arrive at the Royal Dude Hospital.
Some time ago, Alden managed to get information about the whereabouts of Dinda, who according to one of the residents was taken to the Royal Dude Hospital.
You can't do anything, Dinda. You must survive. Inner Alden while increasing the rate.
Because the driving speed is above average, it does not take long to get there. Only twenty minutes.
Upon arrival at the Royal Dude Hospital, Alden rushed in and asked the officer where Dinda was.
"Sorry sir, there's no patient here on behalf of Adinda Holscher."
"This is impossible. He was taken to this hospital, where there might not be," Alden replied. He was still confident in the information obtained from the citizens.
"Relax sir, it's possible that he's still passed out and the doctor doesn't know his identity yet. So, Miss Adinda's name hasn't been registered as a patient" Derrick said, trying to calm her master. He's also here, following wherever Alden goes in his own car.
"You're right" Alden said.
Then he went back to talking to the officer, asking the victim of today's accident.
"There are three victims who are still unconscious and their identities are unknown. They're still on the IGD."
"Can I see it? My friend had an accident and was brought here, maybe one of them was him" Alden said quickly.
The officer approved Alden's request because the hospital is still looking for their families. It would be lucky if anyone came alone.
"Come, come with me!" take the nurse who will take Alden to the IGD.
Alden nodded and followed. And soon, they got there. Alden and the nurse walked into the room, while Derick waited outside.
After seeing the first patient, Alden was disappointed and also happy. Disappointed to have not found Dinda, but also happy because the patient is quite severe it is not him. At least there's still hope of seeing Dinda okay.
"Is he your friend?" ask the nurse when she sees the third patient.
"Not." Alden shook his head weakly. A speck of his hope slowly disappeared and went nowhere to look for that hope.
Not finding a bright spot inside the IGD, Alden rushes out and meets Derick.
"How's Mister?" ask Derick.
"Not Dinda. We have to look elsewhere, Rick," Alden replied, his voice rang out in despair.
"Good sir." Derick nodded obediently.
Apparently, Alden was misinformed. The person who was injured and taken to the Royal Dude Hospital was not Dinda, but someone else. Meanwhile, Dinda, in an accident and was rushed to Medistra Hospital.
Now, Alden and Derrick continue to search nearby clinics. He thought, maybe Dinda is not severe and enough to be treated in the clinic alone. However, the search did not produce results.
"Maybe the one who was in the accident wasn't Dinda. He just ran away and hid out of nowhere" Alden said after a long search.
"May it be true, sir."
"We need to find him!" Alden spoke firmly.
Without resting, Alden and Derick return to find Dinda. However, until day turned night, they had yet to find any signs of Dinda's whereabouts.
"Master, what is possible ... Lady Gaida has caught him?" derick said hesitantly.
Alden did not reply, only clenching and holding back anger. Actually, he had been thinking the same thing. But, keep trying to calm down so as not to panic.
"Continue looking and don't stop until you meet!" Alden's orders.
"Good sir."
"I'm going to Liora's house. I'm waiting for some good news from you" Alden said.
After giving the order, Alden again drove his motorcycle and returned to the apartment. He will be getting ready to meet Gaida as he promised Liora this afternoon.
At exactly 08:00 p.m., Alden stopped his motorbike in front of Liora's house. With his usual appearance, he entered the gate that was already wide open.
"Come, Madam and Miss are waiting for you inside" said a waiter who welcomed her arrival.
Alden did not respond to anything and then followed in the servant's footsteps. Then they entered the mansion owned by Gaida.
Upon arrival in the living room, Gaida and Liora immediately welcomed warmly and kindly. A smile continued to linger on the lips of the two, perfectly matching the luxurious appearance.
"Darling, let's sit."
Liora grabbed Alden's hand and guided him to sit on the sofa. While he was, he was also sitting there with his body continuously attached.
Alden glanced at his lover at a glance, then commented a wry smile. Although tonight Liora's appearance is very beautiful and charming, but it does not thrill Alden. His love has been cracked, either later can return intact or even broken.
"Look at you guys being so friendly, Grandma's happy. It feels impatient to watch you get married and give a great-grandmother a great-grandchild" Gaida said, complete with a big smile.
Alden just kept quiet, just feeling weird about the situation he was in right now.
He began to feel the change in Gaida's attitude. The usual haughty and cynical, now looks friendly. It was as if the woman had already accepted his presence.
"I'm sorry Grandma Al, Grandma's been treating you bad all this time. Grandma was just blind, not seeing if you were Liora's best man" Gaida said, dominating the conversation tonight.
"We forget about the past, no need to talk about it. Now grandma will bless you," he said again steadily. Liora nodded her head in agreement.
They do not realize if his attitude is excessive and it makes Alden think differently.
They were too focused on the main goal, to the point of not being able to read Alden's facial expressions. All they had in mind was entangling Alden, keeping him from marrying Liora and stopping looking for Dinda.
She's just a poor, useless mercenary, you can't think about it much less look for her. The only woman worthy of being your wife is only my granddaughter Inner Gaida.
In his mind, it was clearly reflected the amazed gazes of the friends and colleagues. Being a son-in-law in the Carter family is the dream of almost every woman. And who would have thought his grandson managed to bear that title. What a proud thing.
"After tonight, introduce Liora to your parents and plan your wedding as soon as possible" Gaida said.
Alden did not respond with words, he simply nodded while trying to smile, despite actually holding back the anger in the chest.
Gaida no longer insulted and cursed as usual, instead humbled and continued to apologize like a sycophant. And that made Alden even more suspicious.
It seems like my guess is correct, they already know my true identity.
"Lio, I want to go to the toilet. Can you drive me?" said Alden, finally he opened his voice after a long time just silent, he wanted to go deeper into this house, looking for all the clues to find Dinda.
"Alright, come on, I'll take you," Liora replied.
At that time Liora invited Alden to the bathroom in her room, the two of them went up to the 2nd floor. Along the way Alden continued to circulate his gaze, staring more sharply at each corner of the room. But still he didn't find any clues about Dinda.
Where are you Din? inner Alden.
