Chapter 23: The Change of Self

Laura's current plan would be a mess if Henry came to her parents' house and Miyami told him what had happened to her and it could create a refuge for Miyami because Henry would not lose the right to get the inheritance in full so it would definitely make that bastard man accept to stop torturing Miyami.

So that the plan to make their household a mess can be destroyed by Miyami who suddenly can make a counter plan for what Laura gave him. Laura tells the Performer System to look for the whereabouts of Aunt Yamako and then shows that Henry's mother is looking for something in her bedroom, luckily Laura was able to see Aunt Yamako through security CCTV when Laura thought of something from Aunt Yamako's actions.

"System, deliver signal damage right around their location!" laura said with quick thought

The Pelakor system instantly blocked the signal around Henry's parents' mansion. When Henry's mother found her cell phone and tried to call suddenly she got an automatic reply coming from the call saying "No signal, please wait a while!"

Instantly it makes Henry's mother surprised then he returns to the living room to ask Miyami to call Henry but the signal on his phone is also not there so Renka puts on a surprised and annoyed expression because of the plan that should have been he made a mess easily countered with something like this.

Renka felt the presence of Ayumi behind the CCTV that moved by itself as if monitoring the conversation and every movement. Renka does not want to lose against Ayumi so she uses a way that she thinks will ruin Henry's mother's expectations of Miyami but this is the only way to get a protection for her so that Renka no longer puts up soft and kind hearted face.

"Listen to this carefully, Yamako-san!

I'm so tired of all this because your son, he's been through something that's put my life in danger so I want you to stay together at Henry's house to ensure my safety if you refuse him. Get ready to see your son behind bars!" renka threatens Henry's mother with a voice recording of Henry's threat to Miyami

Henry's mother was silent to the threat, thinking if his son was in jail instantly made his feelings would be shattered overtime seeing all that even he was surprised to see a much different expression from Miyami whom he knew to be meek.

The actor system gets a notification about the cause of the failed mission, the answer is the woman he currently sees on CCTV instead of Miyami contact Laura who reads it suddenly understands what happened is a twin. Laura told the Perakor System to find the identity of the woman and then there was an information that the woman who was threatening Henry's mother was Miyami's sister by the name of Renka.

Renka's identity status is still unknown as the Pelakor System could not dismantle any further than that. Laura is forced to let a woman named Renka get protection from her mother Henry as soon as Laura's expression shows that she will make Renka stop to interfere with her affairs.

Meanwhile, Renka who was threatening her mother Henry immediately made the atmosphere tense. Henry's mother did not deny the threat from Renka because she could see that the woman would actually report her child to the law.

"Miyami, I will accept your request but please keep it a secret from anyone even from her father!" said Henry's mother while holding Miyami's hands

"Thank you for your concern with this I will promise not to tell anyone!" reply Renka while grinning

Renka and Henry's mother get ready to come to Henry's mansion while Laura who sees her plan to damage the household and avenge them are both now held captive by one man who is trying to stop him, it made Laura angry while hitting the bathroom wall so strongly that her hands bleed due to her long nails that hit her fist.

"System connect the call to the woman's phone!" ask Laura to take out her phone

Renka along with Henry's mother preparing to get into the car suddenly Renka gets a call from a number she does not know. Therefore, he told Henry's mother to come in first while Renka would answer the call.

"Renka Miyami's sister, do you want to be my enemy?" ask Laura directly to the point

"Well, that's amazing!

Ayumi saw you can manipulate CCTV, the signal in this big house even calling myself is something pretty cool for the intention of taking revenge on me!" reply Renka while covering her identity

"Quite your cipher, Renka!

I know who you really are and need you to remember one thing. Being my enemy is to be prepared for your life to be ruined if you continue on with it all to protect your beloved sister, prepare from now on!" laura said, threatening Renka

"Do it if you can unpack everything else I'll take down all your identities first!" reply Renka by declaring war

The phone is disconnected or stopped. Laura thinks without listening to the Actor System, against Renka who can make a counter plan and knowing how to watch and observe what Laura is doing instantly gives an impression that means that the enemy is dangerous. Renka who has received protection from Henry's mother can do something if there is a danger to her, for example, making CCTV is not in her house so it is difficult for Laura to know the condition and condition of both of them.

Miyami's whereabouts who should have been the target for the completion of the mission to earn points is now stopped because her whereabouts are unknown, currently Laura feels herself in a box without being able to do anything. The only way to earn missions and points is to change the target of the actor who can make him complete the mission then get the points back but Laura does not want to involve others.

Miyami and Henry bring a scapegoat to make the case closed with them both free of punishment after Laura again sees her parents who still have not received all the confessions of the accused the scapegoat because Laura's parents still do not believe the words of Miyami and Henry because of the status of the two of them at that time was a lover even after Laura died, they both have announced their status.

So it planted a seed of doubt over the words of Henry and Miyami but all it gave a thing that could endanger them both with a lot of money, Henry and Miyami control the course of the law so that they can get both Laura's parents sentenced to life imprisonment without an unclear case.

A few days later, Laura sees a news in her previous life that both her parents committed suicide because Miyami and Henry ordered them both to do all that because they want to remove all traces that could endanger both of them sontak Laura could see twin figures like Miyami who was looking from afar as if she was monitoring what was going on.

Miyami is unlikely to be able to come up with a plan that could allow both Laura's parents to go to jail without an unclear case, Henry could have covered it all up with his bastard nature but Renka was so different from the two of them that seeing the death of her parents through visions of life in the previous one ignited Laura's anger.

Performer's system showed all the events after Laura's death in her previous life, she woke up from her stupor by being in her house and Hayato was surprised to see Laura wake up with an expression staring intently at the sky.

"Laura, are you okay?" asked Hayato who was worried about Laura's condition

"Hayato, thank you very much for taking care of me but can you go home because I want to be alone for a while!" ask Laura by covering her expression

Hayato prepared to go home while putting some water and medicine on the table after which he left Laura's house assuming that Laura was currently feeling tired from continuing to work hard. However, Laura is actually currently showing a cold expression with anger over what Miyami, Henry and Renka did to her family because Laura is no longer naive.

"Actors System who you really are?" laura asked, looking out the window

The Performer System suddenly gained a recognition from the Administrator instantly the system was able to fully access the development of its master in becoming an actor but Laura's goal was still unchanged after she gained many points after that he'll make Henry his target again but to fight Renka.

Laura must be more courageous to take an action that can make Renka stop following her affairs with Henry and Miyami. Laura will still take revenge by utilizing the Actor System while the system will utilize Laura for a duty as a system that is to change the master into a fully-fledged actor.

"I'm ready for everything you've given me, System!" laura said as she looked at the target man outside her window
