Chapter 4

Two Months Later 

The more days Ben's attitude gets out of control. Several times Ben snapped and scolded Flora just for the small mistake Flora made. 

Flora tries to endure the harshness of Ben's increasingly powerless attitude to hold him back. But the love in his heart was still so great to let Ben go. 

In this state of Ben's fear, Flora tries to understand her lover's feelings. It is not easy to adapt to a very difficult situation and has not been used to it before. 

Ben's father works as a mechanic in a car repair shop. Luckily, he has a little expertise and knowledge that he learned before he became a famous businessman. Ben's mother worked as a loundry employee, a job he never dreamed of in his life. 

Ben is always sad to see his parents who sweat every day just to find a mouthful of rice. He can only hold his chin without doing anything. Ben didn't think his life would be this bad. He used to rely too much on the property that his father had, so he was lazy to work. He just spends money and indulges in his lifestyle and prestige above average. 

“You're trying to find a job, Ben! You are the future head of the family. How can you support your wife and children if you are lazy to work? What do you want to feed them?!” ningrum Ben's. 

Ben just kept quiet. He was upset because his parents were always nagging and telling him to work. In the past when he was still rich, Ningrum would not protest with all the behavior Ben did including work. 

Not lazy, but Ben is still quite prestige to work as a laborer or ordinary employee. Ben is notoriously haughty in the off-site. What if his identity was revealed and now he fell poor. Of course that makes Ben always thwart his intention to work. 

“Why don't you try to ask for a job with Stella? He'll have a restaurant, Ben .. Papa sure, he wants to help you,” said Burhan, his father. 

“What? Not ah, Pah. Whaan? Time yes, Ben became a restaurant waiter. Got Ben's own brother again. Moreover, Flora must know. Put it where Ben's face is, Pah!” push Ben for a thousand reasons. 

“Ben! Now is not the time to attach importance to prestige. We need food to live, Ben! If you obey prestige and shame, until anytime you will continue to be in a position like this!” bentak Burhan resuscitated his only son. 

“Ben ... Flora has been very kind to accept you as you are. You should be proud to have a lover as good as him. He even comes here to bring us food. She's a very kind and loving girl, Ben. You are lucky to have a lover like him,” said Ningrum. 

“You must also have the intention to be able to make her happy living with you. Although now we are difficult, but we have complete senses to be able to work and try, Ben, but they still live their lives. We are still very lucky compared to all of them. Because we can still sleep soundly even though the shelter is rough, we can still eat 3 times even with a potluck side dish as well. But, actually we're still very lucky, dear.” Ningrum was rubbing Ben's head that was spoiled on his lap. 

“Ben will try, Mah,” replied Ben as he got up. 

“Where are you going, son?” ask Ningrum. 

“Fetch Flora, Mah!” Ben replied in a voice that slowly disappeared because Ben was no longer visible from the sight of Ningrum and Burhan. 

“Basic of the boy! Awake, just crumple again!” seloroh Burhan's. 

Ningrum only shook her head softly as her husband grumbled to comment on her son's unruly behavior.

Due to traffic jams on the highway that is quite crowded, Ben is a little late to pick Flora up from work. 

As he had reached the usual place he was waiting for Flora, he did not discover the whereabouts of his lover. 

“Where is Flora?” ben muttered while getting out of the car to look for Flora. He wandered around but did not find it. 

Ben decided to ask Flora to the security guard who was still there. 

“Excuse me, Sir. Have you guys seen Flora Ayunda?” ben asked a group of security guards. 

“Yes, we saw. Flora was delivered home with Mr. Dimas,” replied one of the guards. 

“Pak Dimas? Who's that?” tanyanya. 

“Pak Dimas GM (General Manager) in this company, Mas.”

Ben immediately turned his body not responding to the guards' words anymore. His heart was filled with a burning emotion. Negative thoughts about Flora are starting to pop up. 

“You said, you won't leave me after being poor, what is it? You went with a man who was certainly richer than me. Basic two-faced woman!” Ben slammed the door of his car and drove it at high speed towards Flora's house. 

Right in front of Flora's house, a white BMW parked there. Ben's emotions exploded. He immediately went in to beat up the man who had taken his lover. 

“Where is FLORA?” ben's Snatch on Bi Nining. Nining was silent. An impatient Ben barges in in search of the whereabouts of Flora and Dimas he's looking for. 

Ben headed straight upstairs, where Flora's room was. 

“Flora!” shouted again. 

Ben breaks down Flora's bedroom door and finds Dimas and Flora there. 

“Badness!” objurgation. Ben immediately forcefully pulled Dimas and hit him. 

“You did Flora? Why did he become limp like that?!” denounce Ben by gripping tightly the collar of the man named Dimas. 

“Casual first. I was just helping him,” he replied. 

Ben glanced towards the powerless Flora while holding her stomach. His face was pale withstanding pain. Even he had no power to break up the quarrel Ben and Dimas were in front of him. 

Ben's hand took off his grip on Dimas' collar. He turned to approach Flora who was grimacing in pain. 

“Flo, why are you? What's wrong with you? Why are you so pale?” cercah Ben was worried about Flora. 

“Her monthly guests are coming. That's why he's in such pain. He usually takes time off. But his schedule is ahead a week from his estimated date,” Dimas said. 

“Shut! I don't need your explanation!” hatch Ben. His arrogant soul reappeared. 

“Go! What else are you here for? I'm already here. I'm the one who has the right to take care of him!” expel Ben. 

Dimas was upset. His efforts in helping Flora actually became a boomerang for him. There was no word of gratitude he heard from the mouth of a Ben Ardana. 

“Basic humans don't know themselves! It has been helped instead of thanking, instead hitting and swearing at me like that!” Dimas left Flora's room while continuing to grumble in annoyance. 

Ben ignores Dimas who cursed him. He focused on Flora. Ben cupped Flora's face and watched her intensely. 

“What every month do you feel pain like this?” lirih Ben felt pity with Flora who was half-conscious for enduring the pain in her stomach. 

Ben secured Flora's position. Then Ben called Bi Nining to enter Flora's room. 

“Iya, Den. What's up?” ask Bi Nining after arriving. 

“Usually if Flora is like this, what does she eat and what does she drink to ease her pain?” ask Ben. 

“Normally Non Flora drinking my artificial sour turmeric herbal medicine, Den. And I'm boiling it in the kitchen. Later when it is ready, I will bring it here,” replied Bi Nining. 

Bi Nining walked towards Flora's dresser drawer and took something from there. “This, Den. Try Aden dab on Non Flora's stomach. Usually Bibi always give the oil to reduce the pain,” he said while giving the oil the size of a pinky adult golden. 

“Must be me?” ben asked confusedly. 

“It's okay, isn't it, Den? I had to go downstairs to see the sour turmeric I made. I'm afraid I'll get a scorch. Excuse me, Den. I have to see it first,” Bi Nining said. He leaves Flora and Ben in a room together.

With a little clumsy, Ben began to unbutton Flora's shirt with great care. 

“I'm sorry, yes, Flo. I don't mean to be rude. I just want to help you,” whispered Ben. He averted his gaze and began to feel where Flora's stomach was. He rubbed the oil flat. Hope Flora can feel better after that. 

A few minutes after that, Bi Nining came up with a glass of sour turmeric. 

“Aden, this is sour turmeric. Can you help Auntie sit down for Non Flora? Non Flora must immediately drink this herbal medicine so that Non Flora can immediately improve,” Bi Nining said. 

Without answering, Ben did as Bi Nining requested. He helps Flora to sit and feed the glass containing turmeric acid right in front of Flora's mouth. 

“Drink first, Flo. So you feel better.” After the clock runs out, Ben leaned Flora's body against the chest of his field. He stroked and tidied the child's hair blocking the face of ayu Flora. 

Ben took very good care of Flora. His hand continued to clasp the cold, sweaty hand of Flora. Ben kisses Flora on the forehead. An act that sometimes is very prestige for him to do when Flora is conscious.
