Alika and Papa William were sitting in the living room waiting for Elli to come home from the market. It's been an hour ago both of them waiting there, but Elli didn't even show her nose. Even Alika had been whining hungry since then, but Papa William who did not allow to cook was only able to calm his son. Edward and Reno are still in the room, possibly getting ready for work.

Elli's been gone since 5am while this time the clock shows at 07:30. Not usually Elli went for more than two hours especially the market distance to their house is very close. Edward and Reno who had just come out of the room scrunched their forehead confused when they saw Papa William who had calmed Alika who was whining.

"What's up, pa?" ask Edward.

"Huaon... Hungry" whined Alika while stroking her stomach.

"Patience, soon will be Elli's sister home" said Papa William by stroking her son's hair gently.

Edward and Reno instantly understand that Alika is now whining about hunger. But the confusion between the two is that Elli could not have not provided food for all of them.

"Lho... Where's Elli, dad? Didn't she cook this morning?" ask Edward.

"Elli had not come home from the market, Ed. Papa is worried that something will happen to him" said Papa William.

Edward and Reno were shocked by Papa William's words. Edward immediately grabbed his phone to contact Elli and Victor.

Trings... Trings... Trings...

The sound of a cell phone that was on the living room sofa chair immediately rang and it turned out that the phone belonged to Elli who was left behind.

"Dam... Elli didn't bring her phone" Edward murmured.

"Ren, buy food for Alika and papa's breakfast" Edward said.

Reno just got out of Elli's house to get breakfast for everyone. While Edward returned to focus on his phone to contact the head of his bodyguard, Victor. After talking to Victor, Edward's countenance looked panicked even though it was not too obvious because he displayed a flat face without expression. Victor is trying to spread his men around the market to find Elli according to Edward's orders.

"Don't make me worry like this" Edward said.

Edward kept monitoring his cell phone for news from Victor. Not that he did not want to intervene directly to find Elli, but he had to take care of his sister and papa because he was worried that Elli was only used as a lure. While the main target was his sister and papa, that was what he had been thinking about.

Edward's eyes glared in disbelief as he saw a message sent by Victor informing him that Elli had been taken by Dendi Abigael Niclow's men. He already knew who Dendi was who was none other than his wife's uncle. Although Elli does not wear a family surname and has not told her about her family, it is not difficult for Edward to know all about his wife's family.

There was a radiance of worry and fear in Edward's eyes when Elli was brought by his uncle because it was certain that it would be about power if it had dealt with the family.

"May Elli remain on my side" Edward thought expectantly.

After Reno returns from buying breakfast, Edward leaves soon to catch up with Elli as Victor has found where his wife's uncle lives. Reno stays at home to look after Alika and Papa William. But when his car was about to get out of the yard, there was a taxi that stopped right in front of Elli's house. Edward soon saw who had come and he was very surprised when the one who came out of the taxi was his wife, Elli. Edward shuts off the engine and rushes out of his car to get closer to Elli.

"Father husband.." cried Elli.

Elli, who saw Edward get out of her car, called and ran to her husband. Still carrying a shopping bag, Elli hugged Edward tightly. Edward who was hugged also hugged his wife by giving small kisses on the top of his wife's head.

"I don't think I'll ever see my husband again" muttered Elli crest but still heard Edward.

"Other times, the phone should not be left anywhere you will go because with the phone I will easily track your whereabouts" advises Edward.

Elli who heard that of course nodded her head obediently then released her embrace from Edward. He looked into Edward's eyes as if he was very worried about him.

"I'm sorry I made you and the others worried. Oh yea... Alika and papa have breakfast yet? I haven't had time to shop much but instead have been taken with those people" Elli exclaimed with a nag.

Even Elli showed me the contents of her new shopping basket with onions, garlic, and chili.

"You take it easy, they've had breakfast. Now let's go in, papa and Alika from the morning waiting for your return" Edward invites and is taken in by Elli.

Edward walked into the house with Elli holding his arm tightly. Elli stepped quickly to make Edward have to step wider in order to balance his wife's footsteps.

"alika's... Papa.." cried Elli.

Alika and Papa William who was eating immediately turned his head towards the voice of a girl who was calling him.

"Sister.." cried Alika.

Alika stood up then ran and hugged Elli tightly. No less enthusiastic, Elli also hugged Alika tightly. After releasing his second hug, Elli approached Papa William to kiss the back of his hand.

"Where have you been, son? We're worried" asked Papa William.

"Kidnapped a flirtatious om-om, papa" Elli replied with origin.

Papa William who knew that Elli answered with origin was just a head bobble. Then they had breakfast with the menu that Reno had bought. Edward and Reno decided not to go to the office today.

Now Edward and Elli are in the dining room alone because the others are resting in the room. They want to talk about the kidnapping today.

"What did your uncle ask of you?" ask Edward.

"You know?" asked Elli with a curious look.

"Yes, I know that the one who kidnapped you was your own uncle" Edward replied.

"He asked me to look for all your weaknesses and give him information" Elli said.

"Then?" edward asked for a more detailed explanation.

"Oh... Yes obviously, I rejected it firmly" Elli replied proudly.

Edward only smiled faintly when he heard Elli's answer and saw Elli's arrogant behavior. Her bad thoughts about Elli preferring her family turned out to be very wrong. He hoped Elli would continue to be by his side.
