Chapter 6

This afternoon Oma Rahayu and Vanessa are meeting at one of the restaurants near Vanessa's workplace. This afternoon Vanessa contacted Oma Rahayu if she was not busy so she could meet with Oma Rahayu as she requested yesterday.

Oma Rahayu had been waiting for Vanessa 15 minutes ago, because it was a little jammed so it made Vanessa late.

Once inside the restaurant Vanessa can see the whereabouts of Oma Rahayu, then she immediately approached him.

"I'm sorry, Oma, the streets are jammed." Said Vanessa greeting and kissing both cheeks Oma Rahayu.

"It's okay, honey, it's called work." Answer Oma Rahayu.

Vanessa then ordered a drink to the restaurant staff. While waiting for Vanessa and Oma Rahayu chatted casually.

"Why don't you want to work at your dad? You don't have to be tired of working with people like this." Oma Rahayu advised.

Vanessa smiled before answering.

"Vanessa Uda said many times Oma, Vanessa wants to find experience first. Promise me later if you're ready Vanessa wants to replace papa." Vanessa answered kindly.

"Yes, Oma believes in you." Oma Rahayu smiled.

Because that is what Vanessa is like, she will express her opinion in a subtle and gentle tone if it is not in accordance with her wishes. Because the principle if everything can be discussed well why not. Many people like Vanessa.

The two ordered food to be enjoyed together. Until the food ran out they were still talking about many things.

"Ow yes Van, about the matchmaking." said Oma Rahayu.

Uncompleted Oma Rahayu spoke, Vanessa interrupted him first.

"Oma." replied Vanessa but soon answered also by Oma Rahayu.

"Bentering Oma van first, yesterday Jonatan told Oma he wanted to meet first with you. You haven't met all this time. I met you when you were both little and Oma was sure you wouldn't remember each other." Oma Rahayu explained.

Hearing that Vanessa frowned as if she did not believe, the yesteryear is still there are people who want to be fooled, he thought.

"Where do you agree, Van? You guys meet first?" Ask Oma Rahayu while holding Vanessa's hand because Vanessa just kept quiet.

"Do I have to meet first yes, so that later can mutually reject this matchmaking." Inner Vanessa.

"Hmmm.yeah Oma, let us meet first." Vanessa finally answered.

Of course it was the answer that Oma Rahayu had come to expect. He was happy to hear it.

"Okay, how about you meet here tomorrow? Let Jonatan come here near your office." The Oma Rahayu.

Vanessa seems to think for a moment, then she agrees with the proposal of Oma Rahayu. Eventually, the two split up to go home.

Alex walked into Jonatan's room without knocking on the door first. He wanted to ask Jonatan for his signature for approval.

"Where have you met yet the same girl?" ask Alex suddenly.

Jonatan who was still focused on his work was surprised because without any sign of anything suddenly Alex's voice surprised him.

"Damn it!" annoyed Jonatan while throwing Alex who walked up to him with scrap paper that he had crumpled. But it can be removed by Alex.

"Even knocking on the door is also free, besides you will no longer be able to make love in the office." replied Alex.

Instead of being afraid and apologizing, Alex answered Jonatan's words. And hearing the answer from Alex made Jonatan even more staring at him.

"There's no need to glare, tar out the eyes. Ni sign it first." said Alex, handing over the file he brought to Jonatan.

Jonatan immediately accepted it and read it for a while then signed it and handed the file back to Alex and Alex immediately accepted it.

"She's out, what else?" jonatan asked annoyed that Alex just kept quiet without moving a bit because Jonatan will return to work.

"You haven't answered my question" Alex replied casually.

"What?" jonathan did not understand.

Because indeed he had not heard Alex's question which suddenly entered his room because Jonatan was too focused on his work.

"Is the meeting not the same for girls?" ask Alex again.

"Not yet." replied Jonatan briefly.

"Kog yet?" ask Alex to be curious.

"Oma used to meet him tar just delivered." replied Jonatan.

"Ow that" said Alex, nodding his head in understanding.

"Eh tar if I meet? If you don't agree, you can do it for me. How's it?" ask Alex to make a suggestion.

"Have not been able to!" reject Jonatan immediately.

"Cog can't? Brarti you agree to this matchmaking?" ask Alex in a soft tone.

"Not that." replied Jonatan confused, because indeed Jonatan reflex when answering it earlier.

"Trus what donk?" insist Alex.

"Have it done, job hunt there! If not I cut your pay 10%." threatened Jonatan while holding the phone at his desk to scare Alex. Because Jonatan will contact HRD.

"Eh don't donk, you know 10%" replied Alex with a clear.

"Eat him job hunt there" said Jonatan again.

"Yes" replied Alex resignedly, then he immediately got up and walked out of Jonatan's room.

Seeing Alex who had come out made Jonatan can breathe a sigh of relief. He leaned his body against the back of the chair and massaged his temple which felt a little dizzy. It's been dizzy because of work plus dizziness because of questions from Alex just now. And Jonatan himself was also confused why he could answer like that to Alex even though he himself had not met the person who would be betrothed to him.

Jonatan remembers when they met and Jonatan did not like it too much because Vanessa has a fat body and Jonatan thinks surely now Vanessa's body is still fat so Jonatan refused this matchmaking. Though Jonatan does not know Vanessa now, he is already thinner than his childhood. Although not very significant.
