"Lis, tomorrow you-" I said by accident.
A crow's voice appeared on the bank of this river, aka in the forest across the river. The sound of a group of crows being shocked, maybe if likened to a movie, the voices came when someone was killed.
Did something happen in the woods? Between me and Lisa and the forest, only a big river separates us.
I creeped in fear, while a bunch of crows were finally seen darting into the air, out of the thickets of trees. I think that in the woods there really is something going on, maybe if in the movie midnight, this is a bad sign.
"Fir, I don't think we'll ever see each other again. I hope you understand!" Lisa spoke as she began to stand up.
"Understand what?" I asked plain and innocent.
I kept looking at Lisa, waiting for her answer. But all I got was a clue, a clue.
Lisa just silently looked ahead and stood in front of me, her index finger slowly started pointing towards the front as if wanting me to look forward as well. Although I was a little sad, I forced her not to be curious about Lisa's answer first, then chose to turn to the place she pointed.
A man in a black suit was seen coming out of the trees, he was just sitting by the river opposite us. His left hand carries a bell while lifting it up, while in his right hand carries a 30 Cm long black stick with the end of the rancing.
"He wanted to ask for a victim after he disappeared behind the forest. It's better we don't have to come here anymore, and now is the right time for our separation" Lisa said, looking very serious, making me undo the intention to double it. "Oh yes, thank you for accompanying me, my feelings are more relieved now."
"Wait a minute, but we really won't see each other again?!" I was in a hurry and preferred not to respond to Lisa's words just now.
Lisa just lifted her shoulders and then, "Maybe only fate can bring us together? I don't know, but there's no time to discuss this, Firza!! Cepetan go now!!"
"L-yes, yes!" My answer was to follow in more haste.
In a hurry to get out of here in the opposite direction, that's what we did.
Running around looking back, Lisa also did the same thing to look at me, then she smiled with sad eyes.
A farewell? I hope Lisa wishes me the same, hopefully we can meet again.
After quite a distance, I tried to see a man in a suit who had appeared from behind the forest, but... why is he still visible? It's not like Lisa said that she would disappear behind the forest again. Come to think of it, was that man a demon?
I decided to stop running, my curious nature came up, and I hesitated a bit at Lisa.
However, the doubt was instantly gone with my eyes wide open, it turned out to be true that the man slowly turned around, then walked and disappeared behind the forest.
The sound of the bell was again heard after he disappeared behind the forest, like a sign of his appearance and disappearance.
I feel depressed, why is it suddenly hot here?
"Firza!" The female voice sounded from the forest side, making me curious and reflexively turned towards the forest that was right on my right, exactly across the river.
Whether she is a beautiful mother or sister, the point is that she is alone, staring at me quietly out of the forest. He stood straight with his hands held together in front of his lower abdomen, as if he were welcoming guests while saying, "Please enter!". But no, that's not what he meant. The woman just stared at me from far away.
With kebaya clothes, white tops and brown batik subordinates, short-haired over the shoulders, and her face looked beautiful yet with a flat gaze. Was he the friend of that subtle creature earlier? I really don't understand now, the difference between a living human being and one that has become a subtle being.
But suddenly the woman pointed to my left, the direction I had started running apart with Lisa. I can see his white index finger mature even from a distance here.
No matter if he is human or not, I still want to look.
But suddenly, the sound of screaming was faster than mine and immediately grabbed my attention. Wait, the direction of the shout came from the place designated by the capable woman earlier.
"Oohhh!! Sakiit..."
A boy of my age, he seemed to have just fallen off a bike on the road, and right behind him was a truck that looked startled, struggling to stop.
Wait, what?! There was no time to think, since I was close enough to the boy, I ran towards him to try to save him.
I saw a movie where there was a scene when someone saved a friend who almost got hit by a truck by pushing him, but instead, the rescuer had to be hit by the truck and eventually died there.
Yes of course I don't want anything like that scene in the movie to happen! So I ran as fast as I could to save the boy. Her face looked not so familiar after I almost got close to her.
No matter his face! Indiscriminately, I immediately pulled the boy as fast as I could when I was already nearby.
A second later, the truck immediately hit the place that had previously been the place where the boy I had just saved fell.
Looks like his little bike that did not come with me pulled, inevitably had to be crushed by the truck tires before the truck finally stopped.
"Huaaa..." The cry of the little boy I just saved, without me realizing I was still stroking his shoulder.
"A-are you guys okay?!" The driver asked after removing his head from the window of the truck.
I just shook my head innocently, while the little boy I just saved earlier started to stop crying while turning towards the Driver. And after the driver asked, she somehow got off the truck and walked up to us, scaring me a little.
"You're okay, right? If there are blisters or wounds, I can take you home. Or... if you want, I can take you home even if not injured," said the truck driver after approaching us.
