"I beg. That's my only hope" Alea turned back.
The shop clerk felt sorry for Alea.
"In the meantime, I'll ask the store manager for permission first," said the store clerk publishing a new glimmer of hope for Alea.
Just as the store clerk was about to get up to meet his manager, his steps came to a standstill as Alea withdrew her hand.
"Did he buy anything at this store?" ask Alea again.
"It seems there is, Madam. And he also asked us to deliver all of it to his home address" the shop clerk replied.
Alea smiled again as she occasionally sobbed. Feeling of greater hope. Is it possible that the path of hope is already laid out in front of him?
"A-do I bo-can I ask for his home address?" ask Alea again. He was nervous because all of his requests were breaking shop rules, he knew that.
"Hem?" the officer was a bit clumsy. "Yes, let me ask our manager, madam. But I can't promise" he replied.
Alea nodded, she let go of her hand.
Not long after he waited, two women came closer to him. One woman he already knew as the shopkeeper. And the other one, he believed to be their manager.
"Excuse me, Madam? My clerk said you asked to see a cctv in our store. Is there a reason you can tell us?" ask the manager who is friendly enough.
"Actually this is a personal reason. I lost my son and found a resemblance to his face in a tiny baby. So I want to make sure through the cctv here" Alea said.
The manager nodded his head several times. "Is there another request?" ask Alea again.
"So I asked the clerk of this store, Is the woman holding the tiny baby was shopping at this store?"
"Then?"
"Can I ask for the address of the woman's house?" ask Alea.
The manager smiled and shook his head slowly.
"Sorry, Madam. For your request we cannot fulfill it. According to store rules, customer privacy should be maintained as well as possible" the manager explained.
Alea again sobbed, she shook her head many times. His hand reached out to the flat-faced manager's hand which looked very firm.
"Please help me. I'll charge you whatever you ask!" please Alea with a glass.
"I'm sorry, Madam. It's not about cost. But, that is already the rule of our store. We do this to make our customers feel comfortable. Maintaining privacy is our obligation" the store manager said firmly.
"I beg ... only this time!" Alea turned back.
"Sorry! We can't give it. I just live by the rules of the store that come from the boss. After all, all the shops would also definitely impose the same rules. So, we do not want to abuse it" said the manager again gave an explanation.
Alea was well aware of such rules. However, this time he did not want to break the rules that should have been like that. He really desperately needed an address that would lead him to meet his Son whom he had been looking for all this time.
But, what to say? The glimmer of light that became his hope had disappeared.
"Yes it's okay. I'm asking to see the cctv, "again Alea who has resigned. To find the address, he would think about it later. The most important thing now was that he had to confirm his sight earlier. Does that little baby look like Amanda, her son? Or is he wrong to see because of longing feelings that have long been pinned?
"Well, let's follow us, ma'am." the clerk let Alea into the cctv room.
The cctv officer played the recording as Rena walked in. Alea also asked the officers to zoom in on the face of the baby in her carrier.
And sure enough, the face of the tiny baby who was sleeping fast was very, very similar to the face of Amanda, her child.
From the start of his eyes, nose and chest cheeks.
Alea's tears trickled down looking at it, not feeling her hands raised and touching the screen right on the baby's face.
"Amanda...!" aela said on the sidelines sobbing her tears.
Alea's eyes instantly narrowed when she saw Rey coming and hugged Rena. Peeping the little baby's forehead that was being held by Rena.
"I need to find the answer immediately! Anyhow!" said Alea.
"Thank you very much for allowing me to see the cctv footage" Alea told the clerk who had been guiding her.
"Together, Madam. Hopefully you will soon be reunited with the person you are looking for," replied the store clerk.
Alea nodded. Before leaving the store, Alea took the time to buy some baby needs that will be used as a gift for her friend's child later. And not to make Joana suspicious.
"Again thank you" Alea said and replied with a friendly nod and smile from the store clerk.
Alea was very grateful, because of the cctv footage she could tell that the baby's face was very similar to Amanda's. He can also be sure to search for the truth and search for the whereabouts of Rey and the girl who brought the tiny baby he does not know his identity.
"Ma?" call someone while patting Alea on the shoulder slowly.
Alea was shocked when she saw who was approaching her. "Joana, have you been here a long time?" ask Alea.
"Yet, Ma. Mom's been back a long time. So, instead of getting tired of waiting, I looked for Mama while taking a walk," he said.
"Sorry, I was confused when I chose."
Joana knitted her brows.
Why is my attitude today so different? Like ... There's something he's keeping from me.
"Joana, let's go home now!" take Alea.
Joana immediately took Alea's hand and walked along.
Now they are in the car. The wheels of the car began to split the street that felt so loose.
Joana continued to pay attention to Alea's uncharacteristic attitude. Today, Alea was not at all friendly to him. Joana finally asked.
"Ma, what's wrong? Is something stuck?" ask Joana.
"Nothing" Alea replied.
Why am I feeling so uncomfortable today? A feeling of sadness enveloped my heart. I feel like crying right now. Wanted to roar, like I was losing the person I loved the most. But, why? Who has left me? Why does this sad feeling keep stirring my mind, making tears continue to grow in my eyes.
"Mama sure? Joana notice, from now on Mama just shut up? Like being ... saving something!" cetus Joana made Alea turn in shock.
"What do you mean, Joan?" aela asked looking at Joana sharply.
"No, Ma. Aren't we family? So, if there is something that makes Mama not calm, Mama can tell Joana, Ma. Joan is ready to listen" said Joana trying to explain. I don't want my mother to misunderstand him.
Alea sighed. He wanted to tell a story, but did not know who he had to express the grievance that was whipping his heart. Moreover, there was no way he could have said it to Joana. No confidence in that girl.
"Joan, what day is it?" ask Alea.
"Thursday, Ma."
"Thursday? What date?" ask Alea again.
"Yes. Date five, Ma."
Alea smiled but tears dripped from her eyes. Since then, his eyes have been glazed.
Amanda's three days away from her birthday. But, for years, you've never seen yourself again, son. Actually, where did you go? Why is it so hard to find your whereabouts that feel so mysterious?
"Ma? Why is Mama?" joana asked as she clasped Alea's hand.
