Chapter 34 - Xian Lian's Mind and Heart

Xian Lian hugged Xing and peeked at his cheeks "already, let's smile.." tangled spoiledly at Xing. Xing smiled, hugged Xian Lian tightly and kissed her forehead "Zhen can't be mad at you..." Xian Lian gave her sweetest smile.

          Xian Lian returned a short peek at Xing's cheek "don't get angry anymore huh !" Xing stroked the back of Xian Lian who was still in his arms "not angry..." Xian Lian nodded "very well. huh I'm so tired." closed her eyes and leaned her head against Xing's chest.

          Xing tightened his embrace "we're back ?" Xian Lian shook her head, raised her head, looking at the ministers "there's still something to report right ?" The ministers looked at each other and nodded.

          Xian Lian broke into a hug "I just sit here, listen to them.." muttering as she saw Xing "just go back, you need rest" Xing stroked Xian Lian's face.

          Xian Lian shook her head "if I go back now, then these birds will come back with chirps, just like I can't sleep. Here alone, let the ministers report, as well as being my lullaby ya ya ya ya.." sulking like a child.

          Xing chuckled, "you need a lullaby..." Xian Lian nodded while yawning. Xing sighed "come here." pulled Xian Lian into his lap.

          As the punishment had ignored Xing 3 months, Xian Lian had to drink all the recovery potions without protest. Xian Lian pouted with her mouth set forward "niang niang, did you not realize Wang Jun loved you so much !" Physician Yin defended Xing.

          Physician Yin felt it was not her right to tell Xian Lian "niang niang, why ask such a question ?" Xian Lian again pouted "Xing is so good to me, I want to repay him by helping him find his true love" sulking.

          Physician Yin frowned 'what is niang niang not aware of Wang Jun's love for her ?' "Ehm... niang niang, what about you ? Do you love Wang Jun ?" Xian Lian blinked her eyes "what does it love ?" asked innocently.

          Physician Yin was confused on how to explain it "ehm... niang niang, how do you feel about Wang Jun ?" "Feelings ?" Xian Lian confusedly answered him 'niang niang is still very innocent, not even knowing what he feels' Physician Yin smiled thinly.
