"Come Mas, later we are late," asked Laras who was ready to go to the funeral home.
This morning, right after the dawn prayer. Laras got the news that Mr. Anwar, the father of Meli Laras confidant in taking care of and maintaining both his stores died.
At exactly 12 p.m., Mr. Anwar breathed his last. And Meli just gave the sad news right at 4am.
And Laras only read the message after the dawn prayer with her husband. And this morning, Laras and Bian immediately prepared to act in the funeral home.
After leaving baby Ghafin to the two grandmothers who were still there, Laras and Bian immediately went to Meli's house.
And after almost an hour of travel, finally Bian's car arrived in front of a simple house owned by Meli.
But when Bian and Laras get off the car, they compactly frown on their respective foreheads when they see the presence of Reza with a different appearance.
Reza seemed so friendly to receive the guests who came. Wearing a cocoa shirt and peci on his head, Reza was like a host who was welcoming mourners who this morning came to change at Meli's house.
"Reza's? Are you here too?" bian asked as he approached the house.
"Yes, sir, come on in. Mel, this is Mr. Fabian and also Mrs Laras" exclaimed Reza from the front porch calling the owner of the house.
"Yes Mas, for a moment," Meli replied from the inside and suddenly it again made the forehead of the two more shriveled, even until almost fused.
"Mbak Laras, Mr. Bian," said Meli with a sad face and also swollen eyes.
The shock of the two of them again increased when they saw Meli coming out of the house with a Muslim dress complete with her veil.
And the Muslim clothes worn by Meli turned out to be a Muslim couple with Muslim clothes worn by Reza.
"Mas Reza, his funeral is ready. So it is better now we bring the body to the mosque first to be sholatan," said one of the residents who helped in the funeral process of Mr. Anwar.
"It's good sir, let's take it now,"
All the male citizens began to be busy preparing coffins to bring the body of Mr. Anwar to be taken to the mosque for prayer.
Reza swiftly helped lift the body and put it into the coffin. When taken to the mosque, Reza became the front man who helped lift the coffin.
While being sampled, there was Bian who took part in bringing the coffin to the mosque complex, where the body will be prayed first before being buried.
Bian and Laras followed closely every funeral process, though there were a lot of questions in their minds but they tried to hold it until it was over.
And now, there they are. Sitting in the back of Meli's house, looking at the vast sea of rice that lay there.
"Can you ask for an explanation? What's the matter?" tanya Bian glanced towards the couple clothes worn by Reza and Meli.
"So, you guys have been in a relationship all this time? Well, you surprised me Mel," continued Laras who looks enthusiastic with the closeness of employees and friends for him.
"It's not so Ma'am, we just," Meli's remark was interrupted, somehow she had to explain her current status to Laras.
"Quick halalin then Za, don't wait anymore. Especially your age which is___"
"We're married sir, so we're a kosher couple" Reza cut as Bian blurted out his wise-ass advice.
"WHAT?" the couple compactly rounded their eyes when Reza firmly said that he and Meli were married.
