Bitter Reality

Adam opened his net slowly.

Surroundings and ceilings are white, forcing Adam's memory to recall what had happened.

"Dam, are you awake, son?" Mom Eve presses the bell to call the Nurse and the Doctor.

Adam held his head that still felt dizzy but forced himself to rise even though the body felt heavy and difficult.

"Don't move much Dam. Your condition hasn't recovered?"

"Why don't my feet feel anything?" Adam only realized when his head and body felt crumpled but his waist down did not feel anything.

Adam's panicked face while patting his legs and thighs felt good made Adam panic and continue to feel his feet with a hard blow even though there was no reaction and no taste whatsoever.

"Mom, what's wrong with my leg?" Adam screamed still continued to beat his leg hoping to feel pain but in vain.

"Don't beat Dam. Stop that." Mom Eve was unable to convey the truth to Adam.

The doctor accompanied the nurse into Adam's ward.

It was seen Adam highlighting the guts of the arrival of the medics demanding answers of what had happened to him.

"Why my legs can't move. Why!" Adam snapped with an angry face and look.

"Sir Adam, you better calm down first. Your current condition is not good. The accident that befell you caused you paralysis." The doctor with a heavy heart conveyed that bitter reality.

Adam smiled bitterly. His head still refused that he was paralyzed at this time.

"No! I can't be paralyzed!" 

Adam tried to get up, some nurses were about to help Adam but Adam's hand brushed aside, rebuking anyone who helped.

"I'm not paralyzed! Don't talk to the doctor!"

Adam screamed until he forced himself up but almost fell if not detained by some nurses who guard around Adam.

Adam realized he was completely paralyzed at this moment. How broken, angry, emotional all Adam overflowed.

Mom Eve cried watching her beloved son now slumped.

Which mother's heart did not hurt to see the suffering and ordeal that her son was now experiencing.

Adam who continues to rampage, by being forced by doctors to inject tranquilizers so that Adam can relax and rest.

Rian who had just finished taking care of things related to Adam's accident had to see how his current Boss was not doing well.

Rian saw the data of victims who were both victims of the accident with Adam.

"Isn't this the name of the AFR Corporate employee I attended yesterday's funeral?" Rian looked back at the photos taken by employees in the company's group chat.

"True, the victim is Ayesha's father. The new officer who will be Mr. Adam's secretary. How could this be a coincidence? I have to investigate in detail." 

Rian contacted someone and asked to find out more details about Ayesha.

"May Mr. Adam accept this reality." Rian glanced at Adam and felt empathy for the incident that befell the Boss.

Adam opened his eyes. Looking at the same room as before.

Adam was silent for a moment. He accepts his condition is now paralyzed even though his anger has not subsided.

Adam remembers the accident.

Adam remembered a car from the opposite direction that made him try to avoid and ended up like this.

"Sir, you're awake?" Rian approached Adam and sat down at the edge of the cage.

"Where's Mom? Is it okay?" Adam was worried about his mother.

Adam understood that Mother Eve was a gentle woman. Mom Eve was already injured enough when Daddy Adam died. 

Of course this incident will add to the sadness of Mom Eve.

Deep in Adam's heart he could not bear to see Mom Eve grieving.

"Mrs is resting. He looks very tired sir. Should I call you?" Rian asked.

"Let Mom rest first. Bella's? Does he know I'm here?" In addition to Mom Eve of course Adam is also worried about Bella his lover.

"Miss Bella knows Mr. Adam is here." Rian certainly did not let the heart tell how Bella's reaction knew when Adam was paralyzed and did not return to visit Adam.

"Where's my phone? I'm gonna call him?" Adam asked Rian.

"Adam, you're the girl. How's condition? Is it still sick?" Mom Eve came immediately to sit in a cage near Adam changed with Rian choosing to retreat to let Mother and Son share feelings with each other.

"I'm useless Mom. Your son is now paralyzed." Adam's raucous voice stuck in the throat no more tantrums actually sounded very heartbreaking when Adam softly said so in Mom Eve's ear.

"Don't say that, Dam. You must be healed. We're going to get medicine. We'll find the best treatment that will restore your condition. Don't give up on Dam." Mom Eve hugged Adam holding her tightly giving her reinforcement.

"I'm going to find the right person to be responsible for this incident Mom. Adam's gonna make sure he's in charge and feel what I'm feeling right now." 

Adam looked at Rian sharply, Rian understood the meaning of Adam's view on him but while Rian would keep what he knew until the time was more fitting.

On the other hand, Bella lover Adam even now cool with his own world as if he did not care about what happened to Adam.

"Hi baby, didn't you go see your girlfriend?"  Jody is now with Bella spending the night hugging.

"For what huh, Adam is now a disabled man! He crippled Jo! A super-model like me has a crippled and disabled lover! Where do you want to put my face? Didn't you always want me? I'll be with you now Honey."

"The right choice Baby! Don't think about your deformed ex-boyfriend anymore! We have fun!" 

Jody with a triumphant smile while gulping down the intoxicating water of hell while enjoying the warmth of Bella's body Adam's lover.
