Princess For The Widow

Princess For The Widow
*Episode #28

Abian followed what Aditya said. They walked towards the garden with their own thoughts.

Arriving at the park, Aditya immediately chose to sit in a corner chair. His favorite place during the break.

"Just sit here" said Adit when they arrived.

"I'm honestly confused about you. Why are we passing through empty seats just for the seats in this corner? Is our conversation really closed? Or .... "

"No. It has nothing to do with the conversation we're going to have in a moment. I chose the seat in this corner because I like it. You see, it's quieter here than the chairs we've been through."

"Oh. If so, can you start our conversation about the Princess right now? You see, I want to see my little daughter, doctor."

"Oh, okay. Mm ... But before that, can you call me Adit, or Ditya? I prefer that call. Because .... "

Ditya suddenly hung up his sentence. It made Abian who heard suddenly feel curious.

"For what, doctor? I mean ... Stabbed."

"Because ... because the Princess also called me with such a call."

"Oh."

"Mm .. What is the Princess and you already know? You guys looked pretty close before, didn't you?"

"Yes, me and the Princess are very close. He was the closest childhood friend. No, he was the only childhood friend I had. Therefore, he is the only one I have had since childhood until now. He's my only friend."

"You're my wife's childhood best friend, Aditya? But ... I never saw you at our wedding that time. I certainly don't remember wrong, do I? Where were you when we got married?"

"You don't remember wrongly. Because I didn't come. I had some business that day. I have to leave the country exactly the day before your wedding. So, that's why I'm not there."

Not wanting to get swept up in personal matters, Aditya chose to directly talk about what really happened with the Princess. The thing that made Abian talk to him before. But, it is forgotten because it is concerned with personal problems.

"Oh yeah, you want to know about the Princess, don't you? Why did he get to that. I'm honestly upset with you. You're an irresponsible husband with the Princess. About what she experienced during pregnancy you don't know. I'd love to punch you in the face so you realize you're a bad husband to the Princess."

Abian was not angry. He could only be silently bowed to the words filled with pressure like just now. Because to be honest, he was also angry at himself. Condemning himself for the negligence he had done to his dear wife.

"Why are you quiet, Abian? Don't you have any emotions now? Why are you this? Not mad at what I said, huh?"

"What can I do, Ditya. I should be angry how? You know, honestly I'm now filled with great regret for all the wrongs I've done to my wife. I love him, I love him. But ... I live in terrible trauma. It's gonna make me disappear all this time."

The atmosphere suddenly quiet for a moment. Neither Abian nor Aditya, they spoke equally. They choose silence with their own minds.

A little while later, Abian started again their chat that had stopped.

"If you want to be mad at me, go ahead. Because the truth is, I'm also mad at myself, Ditya."

Aditya took a deep breath. Then, exhale roughly.

"Huh .... Never mind. There is no point in getting angry. Because the Princess definitely doesn't want that."

"You know? All this time, the Princess has been through a lot of difficult times. Especially when she's pregnant."
