"Good game boy, for starters," said a man who suddenly approached Julius, Carl and Jeffri.
"Ohoa... If you may know, what does this master say?" jeffri asked who really understood what the man meant.
"All I mean is young master Hamers, I want to challenge your friend to play Roulette."
Roulette is defined in French terms, Roulette which means 'wheel' or 'small wheel', Roulette is a typical Casino game of chance or the famous wheel of luck. Roulette is a spinning wheel table game consisting of numbers ranging from 0 to 36. The dealer spins the ball and waits to stop at one of the number boxes. The ball lands on a colored number and all bets that match that number, he is the winner. The main objective of the game is to bet the money exchanged for chips, and try to guess at the number, color or area where the ball will land.
"I'm not interested in betting with you" Julius said.
"Then I assume you're a coward or a loser. Hahaha.." the man sneered while laughing with his comrades.
Jeffri who ignited his emotions felt not accept his friend ridiculed like that. "Julius, this can't be allowed."
"They deliberately said that in order for me to accept their challenge. I'm not the type to be easily tempted by meaningless speech. Let's go."
"I think with your nature you'll take the challenge straight away. It turns out you're patient too huh" Carl said, patting Julius on the shoulder.
"But my patience also has its limits" Julius stood up and walked away followed by Jeffri and Carl.
"Haha... Look everything. This new kid tried to show his prowess on the first day, but he gave up right away when I challenged him!" said the man loudly and followed by a roar of laughter from other Casino visitors.
"At least he knows where he is!" shouted a man sitting with the comfort girls at the corner of the Casino.
"Yes. I admit your courage, as a loser!"
"Haha..."
"Julius, we can let them continue to do this. They should be taught a lesson!" Carl who had been calm now was provoked by emotions.
"I am the young master of the owner of this place. I can't let you say that to my friends!" snapped Jeffri who could not stand it anymore.
"What if you're the young master of the Hamers? Mr. Hamers alone still have to salute us."
"Well... I didn't come here to serve a fool. Why is it running like this?" Julius was still calm in the face of it all. But the scale suddenly stopped when he heard...
"We are members of the Dragon Mafia. One of the most feared mobsters in the city. Little people like you are nothing but doormats for us."
"Mafia Dragon member?! If it's not wrong, it's a member of the mafia under Arlo's control. It's just luck," a smile instantly expands on Julius's face. He turned to face the man who had challenged him. "I accept your challenge."
Everyone who had been whispering to each other and afraid to hear the name of the Dragon mafia was now made silent, including Carl and Jeffri. All eyes were on Julius.
"What?"
"I accept your challenge" Julius repeated.
Carl brought his face closer to Julius's ear and whispered. "Julius, you said you didn't want to play, but why..."
"Jeffri, how many Lotus cakes does it take to get people who eat them drunk?" Julius asked Jeffrey.
"Eh... For those who are not good at drinking, five Lotus cakes I think can already make them dope."
"That means it could be more than five Lotus cakes to get this guy drunk" Julius thought.
"Are you sure young man? I gave you a chance to refuse" the man said.
"Aren't you the one who insisted on asking me to bet, why are you even afraid now?" julius taunted the man.
"What?!! How dare you! I'm a trusted member of the Dragon Mafia. I'm not afraid of anything!" angrily the man broke the table because he did not accept to be said to be a coward.
"Julius, what exactly are you planning?" carl asked in a whisper.
"Eat cake? Are you starving, son? Haha...."
"We played 10 rounds" Julius put chips on the Roulette table as betting material.
"You will regret this," the man also directly placed his bet.
Game's starting. The casino dealer starts throwing the ball at the roulette wheel spinning table. All walked closer to see the fight at the gambling table. Who is the winner?
...⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜⚜...
"Lumayan. The dress fits in your body" says Wendy.
They finished helping Nisa get dressed in a light blue sleeveless brocade dress and skirt just below the knees. Now the appearance of Nisa is much different from before, what else Nisa's hair is also rearranged. What was once neatly disturbed, is now allowed to fall unravel with a silver hairpin ornament on the right side of his hair.
"Rica and her mother must have been shocked to see their plan fail miserably" Febby said, feeling satisfied by Nisa's performance.
"Mother and child are outrageous. Though Nisa is the Pinkston family's legitimate daughter, but they're even that hard on Nisa."
"We better get down. I can't wait to see the look on their faces as soon as I see Nisa's look."
"I'm also impatient."
"Later first. There was one more thing missing," Julia walked up to Nisa and removed her glasses. "Well... Isn't this much better?"
"You're like everyone else, Nisa," Wendy argued.
"But I can't see without my glasses. I can bump into people later," Nisa said.
"Don't worry. Febby, you brought me what I asked you to do before we left, right?"
"Right, I just remembered, too," Febby took out a contact lens from behind her bag and handed it to Julia.
Julia helped put the contact lenses on. "How's it?" he asked Nisa after both contact lesions were splashed in both eyes of Nisa.
"I can see clearly, even though I'm not quite used to wearing these contact lenses."
"Over time you will get used to it. Come down."
Julia, Wendy, Febby and Nisa descend to the ground floor, just where the party is taking place. It looks like the show has already begun. They approached the largest table among all the dining tables available and only the table that still provides empty seats. There is a Mr. Pinkston, Mrs. Pinkston, Rica, Zack, Norman and Yusra. Doubt soon enveloped Julia. He thought, how can outsiders like them sit down and eat together with the host? One doubt that Julia put aside for now.
