Happy Reading's!😊
Nightfall.
Vira goes into Devan's room. Devan seemed to be sitting while checking some files in his hand. On his desk there is also a cup of tea made by the Goddess.
"Dad" said Vira.
"Eh, baby" Devan turned to look at Vira.
"Dad what are you doing?" ask Vira.
"Dad is checking the file of the company son" Devan replied without taking his eyes off the file he was holding.
"Ooh.." Vira is just O ria.
"What's up, baby? Is there a problem?" devan asked a glance at Vira who continued to stand up.
"Em, Vira wants to.." Vira is confused as to what to answer.
"You what?" ask Devan.
"Ah, Vira wants to see the condition of the father. Lately, I've been dizzy. You better not be working first. I need to rest" replied Vira. Vira thinks how to make Devan not drink tea made by the Goddess.
Vira snatches the file in Devan's hand and puts it on the table. Vira goes up to Devan's lap. Vira faces Devan with her hands down Devan's neck.
"Darling, I have to work first" Devan said, staring at Vira.
"Why do you keep working? Let's know, dad is often dizzy. So you have to stop working." replied Vira.
"Yes, I'll stop. But later, after the work was done" Devan returned Vira's gaze.
"Dad is always like this. Who do you work for?" Vira came down from Devan's lap.
"Darling, I work for you. I want you to lack nothing" Devan replied.
"Ah, I don't want wealth, I don't want a lot of money. I just want you by my side. Dad's with me" Vira starts to tear up.
"Don't talk like that, baby. Dad did this for our family. In order for our family to live comfortably" Devan tries to explain to Vira.
"Father work hard for the sake of the snake woman" said Vira.
"Vira, how many times have you said, don't call the Goddess mama by the call of the snake woman. Now she's your mama" Devan said.
"Dad, how many times Vira said, Vira did not want the snake woman to be Vira's mother. Mama Vira is dead" said Vira no less firmly.
Devan rubbed his face in a ruffian. He was confused as to what way to make Vira understand.
"Originally you know, which makes dad often dizzy it's the Goddess. The snake woman" said Vira. "He added rac*n to daddy's tea. I saw with my own eyes well." continued Vira.
Devan held back his anger. He held back that he did not commit any violent acts on his daughter.
"Enough Vira, enough. You must not accuse the Goddess' mother. Dad's sick maybe because of the father's body that is not healthy. This has nothing to do with the Goddess mama" Devan said gently.
"Well, why the hell did you never believe in Vira. The snake woman only wants father's property" said Vira excited.
Without realizing it, Devan's hand floated towards Vira's face. Vira closes her eyes, receiving t*mpaan from Devan. But Vira felt nothing. Vira opened her eyes.
Devan's hand floated in the air. Devan refrains from vindicating Vira.
"Why yeah? Why did you stop? Just t*mpar me. I'm used to it, so you don't have to feel guilty" challenged Vira.
Devan threw his hand violently. Devan's mind was a little open. But Devan put away his thoughts.
"Hem, you don't dare slap me again. Because my father has started to realize that" said Vira smiled slanted.
Vira walks over and breaks the glass containing tea on Devan's desk.
Prang, pieces of glass scattered everywhere.
Vira walked towards the door. Vira wants to get out of Devan's room. Before coming out, Vira gave Devan a warning.
"Dad" call Vira.
Devan looked at Vira.
"Remember, your hard work will be in vain. In the end, I won't get anything. You will only get regret for what you did" said Vira.
After saying that, Vira immediately left Devan who was silent a thousand languages.
The next day, Devan was not working. Devan's body feels less fit. Devan was still thinking about what Vira said last night.
Vira left school without breakfast. Vira is very angry with Devan, because he does not want to listen to his words. But Vira is also very worried about Devan. He was afraid that the Goddess would harm Devan.
Now at home there are only Devan, Dewi, mbok Ayu and Mang Setno. Mbok ayu is more often at the back, while mang Setno is at the post.
At 11:00 WIB.
Devan's head still feels dizzy. Even more dizzy than this morning. Devan went into the kitchen to get some water. Devan kept thinking about Vira's words. To prove Vira's point, Devan ransacked the kitchen, who knew something was suspicious.
After a long search, Devan found nothing. Suddenly devan's eyes were fixed on the trash. Devan checked the dumpster immediately.
Devan was surprised he found a suspicious object. That's a very small plastic bag and inside something powdered.
Devan took the bag and sniffed it. Devan smelled a pungent smell from the bag. Devan shouted to the Goddess.
"Ma, mama.." call Devan.
"Yes, um.." The goddess met Devan in the kitchen.
"What's this?" devan asked, showing the bag he found.
The goddess opened her eyes wide. He was surprised because Devan found the old rac*n pouch.
"E, I don't know. What is it? Where'd you find that?" The goddess answered with a sigh.
"I found this out of the trash" Devan replied. "I asked you again, what is this?" Devan repeated the question.
"I-I don't know. Why are you even asking me?" The goddess is getting pale.
"Why are you nervous? Why is your face getting so pale? Ah, or true what Vira said all along. You've mixed rac*n into the tea I drink" Devan said, guessing.
"Well, no. Mas I'm your wife, when I can't do mein it's the same you" denied Goddess.
"Your nervousness has answered everything" said Devan.
Devan is angry. What Vira said is true. Devan pulled the Goddess' hand violently. Devan will drive the Goddess out of his house.
But only until the living room, Devan releases the hand of the Goddess. Devan's head turned very great. Devan held his head.
"Mas, what's wrong with you?" ask the Goddess to worry. "Bag.." The goddess holds Devan's hand.
Devan can't do anything. Devan only felt a headache and chest pounding.
"Bright.." The goddess laughed crisply.
Devan looked at the Goddess in confusion.
"Yes, you're right. I've added poison to your tea. And you know what? You have taken the last poison, at the highest dose. Hahahah.." explained the Goddess.
"Why? Why are you doing that?" devan asked withstanding her pain.
"When you don't know the hell? Yes, it is clear because of your treasure" replied the Goddess cynically. "Let's get a fresh breeze you come near me. You know, I was left mat* by my husband. Yeah, 'cause I killed him. He was very stingy with me and my children. So I'm killing*hnya. But unexpectedly, he left behind a lot of debt everywhere. If you know this, it's better to just divorce her. Than he mat* left his property, but I can't have it a dime because to pay his debt" Dewi paused for a moment.
"But unexpectedly, you came and asked me to marry you. For the reason your daughter needs a mother. Hahah.your daughter never got any affection from me. You know, I often* him. I was happy when I* your daughter" continued Dewi with a wicked laugh.
