PUNISHMENT OF DESTINY

PUNISHMENT OF DESTINY
CHAPTERS 1. PUNISHMENT

Drowsiness has put Mishell to sleep, so she does not realize if the company she works for has a fire.

The fire almost destroyed the entire factory area, where thousands of employees hung their lives there.

As a result of his ignorance, Mishell had to accept punishment. The punishment that should be, spent the rest of life in iron bars for not being able to make up for the loss.

However, Darma, the company's director, offered a settlement by avoiding legal channels.

Mishell is asked to face the main owner of the company, which is where the punishment will be determined.

Mishell was resigned to fate, he complied, when a bodyguard brought himself to a luxurious house that had made Mishell flabbergasted.

The bodyguards knocked on the study and a voice coughed telling them to come in.

An old man was standing staring out the window, holding his gray beard.

"Master, the young man you're waiting for has already come."

"Hemm, leave us!"

"Okay Sir!"

The guards left the workspace. Meanwhile, Mishell remained standing in place while bowed.

The cold aura of the old man standing before Mishell, made his guts shrink. Mishell was silent, until the old man asked her to sit down.

"Sit down!"

Mishell replied nervously as she pulled up the chair in front of her, "Thank you Mr."

"You're the one named Mishell?"

"Yes, sir."

"I'm Artha Guna, you know why I called you here?"

"To determine my punishment, sir?"

"Hemm, good if you know!"

"What should I do, sir, so as not to go to jail? Because I have a mother and sister who still need me, to meet their needs."

Artha's grandfather fell silent, he actually already knew about the background of Mishell's life.

Hence, he did not hesitate to give his only granddaughter into the hands of the young man.

"Marry my grandson, that's your punishment!"

Mishell looked up, she was shocked and did not expect that the punishment would be that light.

"Why are you silent? Don't you want to marry my granddaughter?"

"Did I hear you wrong, sir? my punishment for marrying your granddaughter?"

"Don't be happy first, your job is very hard. Being a daughter-in-law in this house must be strong and requires extra patience in taking care of and serving my grandchildren. Comewithme! After looking at it, you decide, choose which punishment!" said Grandpa Artha.

Mishell followed Grandpa, walked out of the study and into a room that looked luxurious and very large.

The room was neatly arranged and from there Mishell could see, the view of the pool and a beautiful garden, full of various colorful flowers that were blooming.

Mishell saw a beautiful haired girl, sitting on a wheelchair with her back to them.

"You see! She's Kalila, my granddaughter."

"What happened to Miss Mister? And why use a wheelchair?"

"Hemm, 2 years ago on the eve of marriage, Kalila and her fiancee had an accident. Their car was destroyed and fortunately Kalila survived."

For a moment Grandpa Artha was silent, sighing heavily and implied deep sadness through the look in her eyes.

Then Grandfather continued his remark, "The accident, has claimed the life of his fiancee and Kalila herself is paralyzed and blind.

And worse, when he found out his fiancee died, since then Kalila became an undead. He won't speak a word or to anyone."

Mishell who heard this was concerned and she did not expect, if behind the luxury of this house, it was stored in enormous pain.

Grandpa Artha every day had to see Kalila, her only granddaughter, silently silent like an undead.

"Hemm, that's what forces me to always be strong, even though this body is tired and may soon be stretched out. Treasures abound for nothing, none of this could make Kalila smile."

"Please sir, God must have a wonderful plan behind this ordeal. Can't medical science and therapy help cure him, sir?"

"If I could, I wouldn't have called you to come here!" grandpa Artha replied as he approached Kalila.

"But I'm not a doctor, sir? I can't possibly cure Miss Kalila" Mishell said.

"I knew. I'm just asking, be your eyes and legs for him. Also, make it so that Kalila can smile, eager to live her life again."

"My last wish, to have a successor, is only my hope Kalila."

"What if I fail, sir?"

"Iron test is waiting for you! Remember Mishell, I only gave you 1 year. Before I die, at least my granddaughter is smiling again."

"And if you succeed, I will cover the entire cost of living for your family with half my fortune."

Mishell is silent, her punishment is a tempting offer, she does not have to work hard during the night to earn a lot of money, in order to meet the needs of her mother and sister.

But Mishell isn't sure yet, if she's going to make Kalila recover from the trauma of her accident.

Refusing or accepting both is a severe punishment. But for the sake of humanity, Mishell will try.

"Bismillah, never give up before war!" monologue Mishell.

"How about Mishell, do you accept or reject my offer?"

"Sir, may I have some time? I'll talk about this, with my mom. If you agree, I will come with him tomorrow. But, if he disagrees, I will immediately turn myself in to the police station" Mishell said.

Grandpa Artha smiled, that's what she likes about Mishell. A young man who does not run away from responsibility.

"How's Mister?"

"Hemm, okay. I'm waiting for your decision tomorrow."

"Thank you sir, can I go home? Mom, I must be worried right now, two days and two nights, since the fire I haven't been home and haven't had time to tell her."

"Go! But, please think about my offer carefully. I know, you're a good young man and I'm sure you can," said Grandpa before Mishell, exiting Kalila's room.

Mishell stepped up while steadying her heart, whatever her mother's decision later, she will walk with sincerity.

After Mishell's death, Grandpa Artha smiled, it turned out that the investigation conducted by his bodyguards about the nature and behavior of Mishell was not wrong.

So, he can be sure, the fire that occurred in the factory was not due to Mishell's fault, but there was an element of someone's intent.

Artha's grandfather contacts her personal assistant and she asks to prepare for the wedding, as she believes Mishell's mother's decision will be the same.

Tomorrow, when Mishell and her mother come, the wedding will be held immediately.

He does not want to procrastinate on things that according to his filling will bring good to the grandson.

Artha's grandfather started his investigation, since he got a report that Mishell was suspected of causing a fire at the factory.

He was surprised when the bodyguard sent a photo of Mishell on his cell phone, Grandpa did not expect that the young man was so similar to the late fiancee Kalila.

Then he asked the bodyguards to investigate Mishell further, about her origin.

A glimmer of hope returned in Grandpa Artha's life, he hoped to get the heir of Kalila.

If even later, fate determines Kalila can not also be cured, then Grandpa's hope will he piles on Mishell.

At least, before Grandfather's death arrived, there was a responsible young man who would look after Kalila until the end of his life.

Will you allow Mischell to marry Kalila the handicapped girl?
